THEME

Wiley watched the Ring of Kafrene grew larger as the shuttle came closer. But he still let the pilot droid take them in with little issue. The sith aboard the ship didn't need any fancy flying. In fact, anything like that would have brought some attention towards them if they weren't careful.

Sitting with his back in one of the comfortable seat onboard the comfortable T-6 shuttle, Wiley eyed he companion. The fellow Sith had not worked with Wiley before and seemed like a curious individual. The Marauder wondered if she would be suited for this excursion.

"You ever been to Kafrene?" He asked her. They were looking specifically to track down a ship transponder forger. "Zib Traggel is able to swap IFF tags and probably keeps a black book worth peakin at. They're who we're after alright?" Wiley brought up the holo-image of an aging twi'lek with a cybernetic left eye. They were in free space though the Ring was predominantly owned by the private mining industry. When nations weren't the government the corporations usually were. But the two of them would fit in among the clamouring masses and slip between any unwanted attention due to the nature of their location. "A local spy says they tend to frequent a spice den so we can maybe start there, 'ave a look around."

The majority of the trip had been spent quietly. Her body ached all over, even her jaw screamed with the number of times she ground her teeth. Even amongst the ranks of emaciated Sith she was a twig, leaned back against her chair and focusing on breathing.

When the male spoke, one red-rimmed eye cracked open to stare at him, the other slowly following. What a pain. And the accent is atrocious. Giving a low, long sigh, she slowly began to sit upright, long limbs rearranging themselves until she was propped in a more upright position, fingers lacing together. She could almost feel every joint grind in protest to the movements, and her head thundered. Her mouth felt dry, and eyes gritty as she stared him down, swiping away a few long strands of dark hair.

"No."

Simple words seemed to work best with people; anything too complex meant thinking, and she wasn't up to much of that just yet. She hadn't even gotten caf yet. She stared at the image on the holo after a few more moments staring at him, and then nodded slowly, leaning back against the chair with a slow exhale.

"Fine."

At his words of a spice den, she seemed to perk up slightly, angling her features to stare levelly, before red eyes glinted balefully in the ship's dim light. A mirthless smile touched her lips, but the movement was artificial, more like a baring of teeth.

"Sounds good to me."

The Marauder that was accompanying Wiley was not much of a conversationalist, at least not when she was sober. The man could respect that well enough. He just hoped whatever withdrawl or hangover she was dealing with wouldn't impair her abilities when it came to completing the mission.

Wiley wasn't the strict, kyber crystal up the arse, kind of Sith. After hearing Deva's reply he would lead the way towards the local spice den. Immediatly leaving the hangar where the shuttle was parked, the two Sith were introduced to a bustling crowd. The streets and pathways of the mirror inverted cityscape didn't seem to have dissipated for any reason.

After some walking and taking some shady and unlit allyways, the two darksiders would begin to approach a neon holosign that was only partially lit saying in Aurbesh Exo-Gorgeous come To either side there was an image of a beautiful woman. One was a twi'lek pulling on hookah and the other was a rodian with what looked like a miniature exogorth around her shoulders like it were a common snake.

Heading inside they would hear the sound of music before they saw the change in lights. The relaxed atmosphere and the scent of spice was in the air. The Marauder had his own desire to find a comfy seat and plop down with some spice but instead he made his way to get a refreshment to get a look over the establishment.

Already he knew there were eyes on them. On the far end of the spice den the man found the twi'lek he had been seeking. Only, he was staring back at the Sith with his cybernetic right eye with a quizzical look. This was the first time they had seen one another. But Wiley knew the first impression was wariness towards him. He had spotted Zib Traggel, but that did not mean Wiley had a good feel for the area around him.

Thankfully, he didn't assault her with his language for much longer. The bared grin vanished, and red eyes hooded, glazing over for inner contemplation until they landed. Once there, he would lead the way, with her ghosting after, her footsteps almost silent as she drew up her hood. The thinnest influence of the Force, and her features would dim, making it hard for the outside world to get a good look at the woman's face.

Despite the crowd, the Sith maneuvered through it without a single soul touching or bumping into her, a careful wend through the city life. Once inside the den, the heavy scent of spice was inhaled deeply, eagerly, as nostrils quivered and red eyes sharpened in their hunger, but she shivered hard as though in the bitterest cold. Cold sweat beaded down her back as another thin thread of anguish and longing curled up her spine and along her throat, hands clenching into the fabric of her jacket as she swallowed back bile.

The maurauder beside her stiffened, enough of a notifier to lure the woman's attention. Scowling, she glanced at the male and then to their target.
"We gonna stand here all night, or are we gonna actually do something productive?" Her voice would have been pleasant to listen to; mellow, inner Rim accent, but wrong. Rough on the edges, raspy and almost hoarse. Ten seconds in here and she was already beginning to lose patience.

Wiley slowly turned his head, letting his eyes settle on Deva last with a judgemental look. "Cool your jets..." He looked back over his shoulder to see if Zib Traggel was still there. Indeed he was, this time one of the nearby associates whispering something in his ear. "Just follow my lead." He said, only half expecting her to listen.

The twi'lek had noticed them and there was only a few things Wiley could do. The man would have bolted if he didn't feel safe. But from what the Marauder judged there were only two bodyguards standing nearby the table. One for each of the two Sith to take out if needed with minimal effort.

"Mister Traggel...do you mind if I have a word?" The Marauder looked towards the associate who sat next to the twi'lek forger. Now that Wiley was closer he could see it was not a human but instead some near human offshoot. There were a lot of those.
