The Sith transport sped through the noxious atmosphere of Raxus Prime. The yellow clouds parted in the cockpit viewscreen, the surface miles below. In a few minutes, Ebiara and her apprentice would be landing on the trash-covered world. They'd been working together for a few months now and, despite a few snags they hit in her training, it was going fairly well. It was time they did a mission together, one that would be both a formative experience for Ebiara's apprentice and a means of developing a Force bond.

Officially, they were chasing down a renegade Sith. Roughly three weeks ago, the man had detonated a speeder bomb in Kaas City. It had been intended for the Supreme Leader. Instead, it went off prematurely and killed a few civilians. The renegade - Jax Peron - took a group of likeminded anarchists and fled. Sith Intelligence placed them in Sith space, though they only recently isolated their location. Recon drones were sent to Raxus, though they could never get a fix on Peron and his followers.

"We should be within ten kilometers of Peron's location. He has not left the planet, but we believe he will shortly. He has discovered and destroyed the reconnaissance probes we used to find him. The fact that we found him the first time was a miracle. We may not get another shot at this.

What Peron lacks in demolitions and electrical engineering skills, he makes up for in saber techniques. Do not underestimate him. He and his followers have reactivated a droid control ship. He will have troops on the ground. Make good use of the Form I techniques I taught you. Do you have any questions?"

The clouds broke as the transport approached the ground. It hovered around a cleared landing zone before setting down, air hissing as the interior pressurized.

Nelies was worked up, it didn't seem that way though. She had been starting to simply listen to music while on shuttles often, it was a habit to help destress a bit. That being said she fully paid attention to her master as she spoke. She knew the mission at hand and wanted to crack some skulls. She was desperate to try and kill any traitors, especially force sensitive ones. By this point in her training she developed more skill in saber combat and force augmentation over anything else. She was limited in how she could manipulate the force due to her cybernetics, though outside of heavily damaging herself through attempting sith lightning and nearly frying her circuits she didn't seem to have much issue using it as she had before. It was still more potent when she was high on emotion, but she learned to better control her use of it and was now able to actively use it to a limited degree in combat. Four months of training would help, that and her determination to become stronger.

As the mission was laid out for Nelies, she only gave a simple nod. "Okay, I guess we'll just have to kill them all before they do anything. This should be fun.", she replied. It hadn't seemed like she had any questions, or if she did they were how many traitors she would get to take out. She knew the situation was serious, and fully respected that, though it would be hard for her not to take pleasure in killing criminals that have done wrong by the Sith. She was rather eager, even stepping out from the shuttle before her master would be able to. She wanted her feet on the ground to start searching as soon as possible. She was thrilled about going on a mission.. though maybe a bit too much so.

The garbage filled planet left a horrid stench lingering throughout every inch of its surface, toxic waste being present nearly everywhere. The second Nelies stepped out she was forced to put on a rebreather to try and help filter out the disgusting smells. She chose to wear a different set of armor compared to what she would usually wear, she thought that blades could intimidate opponents so she decided to switch from her normal armor. She brought both sabers with her, just in case she needed to switch in the middle of combat or just to have a backup weapon in the case of her pike being knocked away from her.

Her first few steps landed her in a puddle of sewage, or at least what appeared to be sewage. there was so much waste on the planet it was hard to tell where the liquid came from. It hadn't phased her much, and she simply walked on past it. Taking out a holomap, she looked at their current position in relation to the last known sighting of Jax Peron. She stood outside in the trash, studying the map for a few seconds before the activation button was hit once again, a click extinguished the show of light.

"I had a feeling you would enjoy this mission. Do not let your eagerness cloud your mind - you are here to learn," Ebiara said, cracking a smirk during the first sentence. In her time with Nelies, she had come to see her apprentice as one of the most intriguing - if not most challenging - missions she had undertaken for the Sith. The girl had a quick temper and a passion for learning saber forms. She had direction and, with Ebiara, she had guidance, if not an ally. She was a very offensive fighter from what she had seen; she didn't value defense as much as Ebiara had wanted, but her mind was open nonetheless. As far as Ebiara was concerned, she could hate learning something as much as she wanted. As long as she kept her mind open and kept learning, Ebiara was happy. One does not ever stop learning of the Force, nor do they stop learning how to fight.

The landing zone was located on a mesa of scrap. Around the zone were mountains and plateaus of junk. Occasionally, a recognizable thing could be seen jutting out of the mounds. Anything from speeder bikes to wrecked ships stuck out at chaotic angles. Ebiara scanned the horizon and took the planet in for a second, feeling it in the Force. Even on the toxic surface of Raxus Prime, life thrived. Everything from bacterial colonies to beasts stranded on the planet. From Jawas picking apart garbage mounds to pirates using the base as a haven. The Force was a powerful thing. A radius of 10 kilometers was a relatively large area, and the two already had a lot of ground to cover. But with the Force, Ebiara could feel what could only be described as a tug. A pull. The Force wanted her to go in one direction.

She began to walk towards the source of the mental tug. Ahead lay a sweeping field of trash. A sandcrawler combed the landscape, slowly inching its way across the horizon. A CC-12 Picketing-Class Corvette jutted out of the rolling garbage hills at a nearly 45 degree angle. The sound of thunder echoed in the distance. It wasn't an immediate threat, but the two certainly did not want to be caught in the approaching acid rain. Carving through the field of garbage was a canyon, its bottom deep below. The winding nature of the canyon obscured the bottom for the most part.

"That canyon is almost certainly filled with traps and creatures waiting for us, though I do not expect that field to be any safer. What say you, my apprentice? Shall we follow the canyon or walk across the field to their base?"

Nelies, while listening to her master, followed her. The woman seemed to know where she was going and it would be better to simply run around blindly while wasting time they didn't really have if their target wanted to escape capture. She was stubborn, maybe immature and aggressive, but she knew a smart move when she was it. "I don't see much room for learning, I mean we're going out to track and kill traitors of the Sith. It seems more like a fun side activity.", she replied. As a sith acolyte she very much enjoyed her job, when she wasn't doing useless tasks. This was shown in her active interest in killing the one known as Jax Peron. She would likely want a one-on-one fight, though with her master in the fray that was doubtful to happen.

After everything she endured to get to this point, everything that shaped who she is as a person, she wanted to prove that she's better than most other apprentices. She had a goal and she wanted to achieve it, be named as sith and seek revenge on the sith responsible for her creation. It was rather cliche, for a sith to go after their superior, but Nelies hated him with a passion greater than anything else. She would go to him, put up with him, for repairs and enhancement but the second she was strong enough a blade would be at his neck as he would suffocate through burnt wind pipes. As mentor and apprentice walked the garbage planet she would fantasize about that moment, the moment in which she would finally get to kill the sith alchemist and scientist known as Sadeon.

When the two reached the crossroads she snapped out of the dream, putting focus back onto the job at hand. She looked at her options, an open field that would leave them heavily exposed to hostiles or a canyon full of hostile creatures just waiting for them. Seconds passed as she thought, thinking of possible scenarios that might occur in each option and evaluating the best route. "I think the field, we'd be exposed but the canyon would have us fighting anyway. I'd prefer a fight in an open space where I get to move around rather than a tight canyon where I don't."
