The blue blade was forced to the right, Bast being flung in a downwards motion along with it.

Seeing that the cave's main attraction of rocks were not going to be helpful at the present moment, Bast had less that a second to make a decision. Sticking with the theme of environment was tricky, however, right now his stance of falling to the ground was considerably all his immediate environment. And with that inspiration, the young padawan flicked out his saber and body in a risky move. Tumbling downward, instead of cushioning his fall like a logical sentient being, Bast made one last slash at Azuzdus' waist.

Whether this succeeded or not, the padawan was going to get a hefty bruise on his head. But for the sake of getting a hit the padawan had calculated it worth the risk.

It was possible he would regret that in a second.

Expecting some sort of counterattack Azûzdus just simple again deflected the blade by reaming in the defensive position.

They boy is not that good but he is persisted, he is constantly trying to find an opening in the enemy. But his lack of emotions is little disturbing. I know that jedi weren't meant to use them but this is even extreme for them. Have they finally found a way to purge them self of the emotion.

Well. The man was quick enough to deflect his blade, and as the laws of gravity encourage on most planets, Bast met his fate with the ground in a less than comfortable embrace. Was his head bleeding? It probably was. The young padawan pulled himself to his feet, threading his fingers through locks of white hair. He then removed his hand after a moment of feeling around, looked at the tips of his finger and repeated. No? Ah, I guess not.

Still hurt like a Bantha.

However, from his fall, Bast remembered something...a glimmer. A glimmer of something foreign to the cave.

Still rubbing his head, Bast plopped back down a squinted his eyes in the direction of a rock. "Tii enai affto..." he muttered to himself in Arkanian. As though realizing he should probably alert his companion in on this, he nodded his head to the direction of where they had previously uprooted some rocks. A red key, looking rather depressing in it's elegant dark design, glimmered menacingly from it half-protrusion from a halved stone.

Satisfied with the defense he pulled of he watched as the gravity done it duty and boy hit the floor fast. But after a moment he was back to his feet with no injure beside small bruise.

He watched as the boy nodded at something at the other end of the cave, something that wasn't there before. It must have appeared when he removed that boulder from it place. The object was a red dark color. Some sort of key.

Using the power of the dark side he expanded his senses towards the key. Surprisingly it resonated with it. An object imbued with the dark side of the force. That is strange since he didn't sense anything dark in the room before, where did it came from.

He slowly started coming closer to the object, with every step he could fell the power of the dark side growing stronger. Who placed it there he wondered. Was it some ancient sith who came here.

The object was indeed a red key, looking rather depressing in it's elegant dark design. His red blade vanish as he put his lightsaber on his belt. Whatever that was has fully gotten his attention.

The key was cold but warm at the same time. A low hum was heard as the key glowed red with power at the touch of another sith. Illuminating the cave with red light it showed previous unseen cave paintings and glphs on the walls and a strange ancient gates with two keystones.

Now all they needed was a second key.

"Well..." Bast pursed his lips awkwardly "Too bad I'm not a knight" Bast added sincerely. To him, Knights could do just about anything. Some strange light-entwined key of the light side needs to be found? There was probably some obscure force trick for that which he hadn't yet learned.

His brows then furrowed. Feeling a pull to the mural of an ancient fight. Walking towards it curiously, Bast felt a rippling force of energy emitting from a small stone at it's base. The padawan bent down and lifted the rock.

"Just kidding" the padawan sung out with some amusement. Reaching down, he picked up a pale crystal key, the colors of blue and green intertwined as the young Arkanian felt the force emit strongly from it.

Turning it's rough crystal surface over in his hand, Bast examined the key. How impractical. Who would design a key out of crystals? The lock must be extraordinarily and unnecessarily complicated. Raising his brows in silent judgement, Bast walked towards the gate resting a hand on it as he was about to enter insert his key into the slot with his right hand.

As though reacting to his touch, a sentence appeared across the entrance...in Arkanian? No...it was Galatic Standard? Bast stood for a moment perplexed that he was sure he saw both languages at the same time. As though the words were meant to translate to whoever was looking at them.

Only two may enter, Two together must leave.

Alright then. Bast shoved his key into one of the slots, the weird crystal surface seeming to fit perfectly.

The key that boy shoved into on of the slots started humming and some sort of calling to his other part. While holding the red key in his hands Azûzdus felt the pull of the force, it called to him.

He slowly walked towards the other side of the slots. The red key of the dark side fired perfectly inside.

After a minute nothing happened. Growing restless he touch the dark key and started imbuing it with dark side of the force, using his anger and pain as fuel for it powers. The key glowed and revealed glyph and runes glowing with red light all around the keyhole and from what looked like his side of the doors.

" Use the force boy " - he yelled with excitement.

Bast turned over with a look of pleasant surprise on his face, he appreciated the man's gusto...it sure made up for Bast's lack of... anything. In fact, Bast was amused enough that he purposefully made more of a show of it than he needed to. He closed his eyes, breathing in the air that contained the living force around him. Though utterly unnecessary, it was calming and quite nice for the Jedi, as any short meditation proved itself to be. With his heart slowed and breath deep, Bast felt more connected to the cave than before.

Curious.

He lay his hand not even touching the key, but extending his palm towards it. Cracking in the center with light, the stone walls of the gate began to drift apart slowly and with a bit of resistance to the ground. It was a slow and ungraceful process, but Bast didn't remove his mind once from the task. In fact, a fear might arise that he wouldn't remove his mind even after the doors became fully open. Azuzdus would find him there, upon the doors full and complete stop, still silent in meditation with an arm raised out as though he had internally spaced out.

With Bast in meditation, it wasn't a first.
