Well, I cannot say that I don't hate the guy for what he did to those dogs; but he served his time and I doubt he will ever make the same money he did before his arrest. He seems to be genuinely sorry about what he did and wants to play football.
The NFL has the most dishonorable scumbags pieces of shit players of all the sports.
I still find it ridiculous how much money professional athletes make.
I must not have followed it enough I didn't hear about his family. I just know he had a dog fighting business going on.I know a thug when I see one. His dad ain't shit, and neither is his brother. No, he won't change.

That is cause America is based off of capitalism and it would ridiculous for the owners of the NFL to pull in billions of dollars while the players make a salary of like 40,000 grand. Though on a side note yes it is ridiculous for grown men to go out in tights and jersey and play a game of good ole pig skin and make twenty million a year. Yeah it is a steal; is there any thing we can really do about it? No well unless of course we start a socialist revolution. :CHappy:
That's generally true for a good deal of American sports-players, from what I understand.
Who cares
Dante Stalworth plays for the Cleveland Browns. He got drunk, hit some dudes car and killed him, and only went to jail for thirty days and payed a crapload of money to the dudes family.
Vick runs an illegal dog fighting group and gets two years.
WTheck.
You kill a guy, get thirty days. Kill an ANIMAL, and get 2 YEARS.
That's a very difficult comparison to make a good judgment on though. Stalworth killed the guy by accident. Still entirely his fault for being dumb enough to drink and drive, but it was also still an accident. Plus he paid the guy's family the crapload of money.
Vick willingly profited off the suffering of those dogs, for who knows how long. And obviously there's no way Vick can compensate the dogs' families.
Yeah but you have to take into account that Vick's crime was the more intentional and sinister one, and also Stalworth's compensations for the cost of his stupid mistake.
Yes, it seems Vick's crime is the greater, but staying in jail thirty days and a huge fine after taking a human life is outrageous.
