STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Properly trained, he his more than able to defend himself if circumstances required him to. Spending time in the mechanical shop has taught him a thing or two about repairing machinery and electronics, but his mechanical skills are limited.
He has experienced events that would break most people, but he survived.
Due to his youth and lack of experience, he can be too trusting at times.As he does not like seeing people suffer, he can unwillingly sense the pain and suffering of people who are in pain ( but only in close proximity ) which can impact his psyche.As a victim of bullying himself, he does not take the sight of bullying lightly and may respond to such situations violently.
During his hiding from the Sith, Xan-Dar has endured events that left him traumatized, impacting his ability to interact with others. An assassination attempt made by a lone Sith left him partially blind, leaving him with the necessity to rely on the Force to make up for the part of sight he has lost.

Xan-Dar is usually quite friendly towards others, but is nevertheless cautious as taught by his father and through time working in the mechanical shop.Even though he is young, naïve and in-experienced in life, he has learned though certain events in his life that not all people are as good or evil as they may appear. In time, his personality changed as drastic events had shaken his life.
BIOGRAPHY:
Xan-Dar is an only child of a skilled and (in)famous bounty hunter coming from a long line of the same profession, so which makes his family a bit traditional.
His mother died when he was young in an attempt on his father`s life.
Prior to the events, he begins showing signs of Force Sensitivity, which in his family is frowned upon.
A lot of his ancestors, his father included, had the misfortune of coming across a Jedi and since their activities weren`t exactly peaceful and legal, they were from time to time attacked and not many of them were able to leave unhurt or leave at all, which in time turned to hate towards the Jedi [ though they didn`t like the Sith much, either ] .
Thought it is not sure if any of the bloodline members were ever Force Sensitive, they were probably either disowned or forced to accept the tradition.
His father began to hate the fact that his only son, his "heir" , was Force Sensitive , while his mother admired that trait and, as her dying wish, she asked his father to raise Xan even if he was Force Sensitive.
His father agreed and began to train him in martial arts and weapons, provided him with some education and, having created a mechanical shop as a side-business and front, taught him mechanical skills.
After the attempt on his life, they moved to Coruscant Through time, he began to exibit innate forms of Force Empathy and minor Force Telekinesis.
One day, at the age of 15, a Jedi walked into the shop, looking to buy spare parts to repair his speeder.
As his father was busy repairing his own ship, young Xan tended to the shop and received clients.
As Xan was examining the Jedi`s damaged speeder, the Jedi had sensed a Force pulse in Xan and recognized him as Force Sensitive.
Xan had just finished examining the speeder and was about to say the list of parts needed to repair the speeder when the Jedi asked to speak with his parents.
Bit surprised, Xan led him to his father inside the shop.
Even though he didn`t know that the man was a Jedi at first, he could feel that he stood out from all the customers.
As the Jedi approached his father, he noticed that something was off about this particular customer.
As the Jedi introduced himself, he commended Xan`s skills and knowledge.
His father was pleased, as praise from customers is always a good sign, but his mood changed as the Jedi told him that he noticed his son his Force Sensitive and would suggest that he can be trained by the Jedi.
This angered Xan`s father and yelled at the Jedi, insulting him and asking him ( in a not-too-polite way ) to leave his shop and never return.
The Jedi tried to convince Xan`s father to let Xan become a Jedi, but he wouldn`t accept it.
He even pulled out his blaster, demanding the Jedi to leave.
The Jedi then left in a calm manner, a bit disappointed.
Xan`s father was angry for the rest of the day, taking it out on his ship and other machinery, but he knew this day would come sooner or later.
As Xan turned 16, his father presented him with a choice : continue the family tradition or follow your own path, but he warned Xan that if he chose to take the path of the Jedi, he would not be welcome in his home anymore.
It was a tough choice for Xan, as he loved his father more than anything, but couldn`t see himself as another mercenary or bounty hunter, upholding the family tradition.
So he left, deciding to follow his own path and the path he chose was of the Jedi.
His father provided him with some money, a blaster from his armory to protect himself and a speeder him and Xan built not too long ago. Now free to choose his own path, his journey begins.

Accepted into the ranks of the New Jedi Order, Xan began his training in the ways of the Jedi. He showed interest in studying the Jedi Archives, especially Jedi history, but not entirely focusing on it. Along studying the archives, he spends time training and sparring. After a while, he gained the attention of a Codru-Ji Jedi Knight Arikka-Mar, who took young Xan as her Padawan. Although he considers himself accepted among the Jedi, he gets homesick from time to time, still holding slight resentment towards his father for his rejection.
