COMPOSITION AND APPEARANCE:
Like all Falleens Xerzgul Azool has dark green skin and jet black hair which is always styled in the traditional Falleen topknot. He is 5'11" and weighs 185 pounds. Azool can be found wearing either his black Sith robes or his imperial military uniform. He has a muscular lean build and rigid posture.
As a Falleen with his symmetrical features and sleek look he is a rather attractive humanoid and as if that wasn't enough he can exuded pheromones that make him irresistible. He has many reptile features beyond his green skin, including small scales, clawed fingers, clawed toes, facial ridges and spinal ridges.
PERSONALITY:
Azool is a cool and calculating character who acts reserved most of the time except for occasional channeled bouts of anger and passion directed at opponents and those who have failed him. When he is not extolling his wrath Azool attempts to be unreadable as he doesn't like others knowing what he is thinking. As a Sith he is empowered by his passions and emotions but strongly believes that they need to be kept in checked and controlled otherwise he runs the risk of having them control him.
LIKES AND DISLIKES:
He strives for two things in this galaxy; knowledge and power. In his eyes the two go hand in hand, he views the force, the Sith and the Empire all as vessels to aid him in reaching higher levels of understanding and power. The empire is more than a tool to him though, he truly believes that order can only be brought to the galaxy by the Emperor. As long as the Emperor remains more powerful than Azool he is loyal to him. If a day ever comes where Azool becomes more powerful than the Emperor...well then his loyalties will be questioned on that day. In his mind an iron first is required to lead and the Empire is that iron fist. Whats more is Azool understands that conflict is required to evolve and he knows that the Empire is a channel that will consistently deliver conflict for his own personal growth. Finally he is extremely interested in pursuing battle mediation to magnify the Imperial military's capabilities.
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
When it comes to being a Sith his strengths lay in the path of the Sith Sorcerer, he is an innovative Sith alchemist and capable force wielder, specializing in the realm of illusion, control and manipulation powers. Since he focuses his studies so much on wielding and manipulating the force his physical combat and lightsaber skills are somewhat more lacking. With a military history as a naval officer he has a head for strategy and tactics and is a capable commander though,
His emotions can be both a strength and a weakness, depending on if they are being leveraged against him or being controlled by him.
LIGHTSABER:
Azool uses a double bladed red lightsaber that he constructed himself, he found both the schematics as well as the power source, an ancient Sith Crystal, deep within a tomb on Korriban during one of his excavations.
OTHER GEAR:
Azool's two current masterpieces of Sith Alchemy are his Sith armor and his Sith sword. His Sith armor can be seen above and is resistant to blaster shots, explosions and grazing lightsaber blows. On the hands of his armor are metal casing that his claws fit into, they have also been crafted with Sith alchemy and are dangerously sharp and very durable. He has poured the dark side into both artifacts and the act of crafting them has pulled him deeper into the embrace of the dark side.
Using a combination of metallurgical means and Sith magic the the metal of his sword has been transmuted into an alloy that has an affinity for the dark side. Its molecular structure has been altered to make it stronger and sharper plus resistant to lightsabers. In the hands of a capable force user it can even deflect blaster bolts by reversing its magnetic polarity. The sword, with all of its components and proprieties is three times the weight of a normal sword its size and requires great strength to wield.
These are all minor details no different than the capabilities of a light saber though, they all pail to the fact that it is a talisman of the dark side. It focuses dark energies and amplifies their power making it a mobile nexus of the dark side. Azool can channel powers through it and uses it in tangent with his force powers. He can channel or absorb Sith lighting into it and discharge the lighting with a strike into the target. Since he poured so much of his own dark energies into the sword, the sword has almost become a part of him and it will reject others, burning severely at their touch.
BIOGRAPHY:
Xezgul Azool was born on Falleen in the year 831 ABY, making him now 180 years old. He attended the Falleen naval academy upon reaching adulthood and served in Falleen's security forces as the commander of a patrol group until he discovered his force sensitivity. Knowing not of the existence of the reforged Sith Empire yet and despising the Jedi on principle Xezgul left the security forces to train alone.
He vaguely had an idea that the Sith once hailed from Korriban and with no other place to start he traveled there, not sure what he was looking for. He felt an instinctive pull in his gut as he came out of hyperspace and flew his ship into the atmosphere flying to and landing in the valley of the dark lords. Later he would realize that it was the force that had brought him to that exact location, that it was his destiny to study the Sith and become one of them.
Exiting his ship and stepping onto the barren desert surface of the world Azool still wasn't sure what he was doing here. He felt another pull of the force, although at the time he could not explain it. The urges nudged him and brought him to the door of a tomb of an ancient Sith lord. With no small amount of effort or struggle he was able to force open the door just wide enough to slide through into the darkness.
And that is when it hit him.
The dark side of the force was extremely strong inside the tomb and it flooded into his body. It filled him with a hunger and lust for power. The feeling was so overwhelming that it knocked him out unconscious and the passage of time was lost to him. Eventually he woke up to found himself still in complete blackness, the tomb door behind him had closely slowly while he had been out and a feeling of dread crept into him. But there was something else there....a wanting...a desire. He had a taste of the dark side and the power it could bring and he now desperately wanted to feel that rush again. He was addicted.
He could still feel it, all around him, the dark side of the force. At least he assumed that is what it was, he had no way of being sure. What else could it be though? It vibrated off the very walls and filled the air. He got to his feet and fumbled for a glowstick, eventually finding one. His surroundings became dimly lite and he saw runes and confusing Sith symbols marking the walls. Having no choice but to go deeper into the tomb he moved forward.
He cam across several traps, deadly creatures that had infested the tomb and even some ancient defense droids that somehow still had their power source. He over came all of these obstacles, but not easily and not without blood lost. By the time he reached the heart of the tomb he was missing his left hand, bleeding in several spots and badly bruised. He had a growing feeling that he was going to die in this place.
The heart of the tomb was a single chamber, with a sarcophagus in the center of it. He felt that this sarcophagus was what the force had been pulling him to all along. He approached it and lifted off the stone lid with what little strength he had left. Inside next to the decayed corpse was an ancient Sith holocrom. Inside that holocrom was the collective teachings of this Sith Lord, who was an especially successful Sith sorcerer and alchemist. Later from studying its contents would Azool begin to develop as a Sith and learn how to wield the dark side of the force.
With the holocrom in hand he felt no need to linger in the tomb and retreated back the way he came, not sure if he had any chance of escape. When he reached the entrance he had came through, he found a slot in the center of it that the holocrom fit perfectly into...acting as a key the holocrom activated the door and it slid open to his amazement. He stumbled back out into the outside world, it was night now and he had no idea how many days had passed since he entered the tomb. Onboard his ship he treated himself with the medical equipment there and nursed his wounds, slowly regaining his strength. Later he would get a prosthetic hand to replace the one the tomb had taken from him as a sacrifice...he was beginning to understand that the path down the dark side would demand many sacrifices...and he did not care. For more than anything else he hungered for power, for knowledge and to learn whatever this holocrom might be able to teach him.
At first he trained in solitude and studied his prized holocrom. Developing his talent for the dark side slowly. Eventually his presence in the force and the dark energies he channeled was felt by the Sith and they brought him in. Demanding that he either join them to achieve unlimited power or die trying.
Already showing potential as a Sith sorcerer after following the teachings of an ancient one he was sent to Ziost to continue his training. At the temple on Ziost surrounded by the dark forests he trained with other Sith, he toiled day and night receiving pain and knowledge hand in hand.
Although he followed the teachings of instructors, Azool always enjoyed training alone in solitude. He often traveled to Korriban to explore and excavate whatever Sith tombs he could find, the act always bringing him back to his first encounter with the dark side of the force. Azool used these trips as lessons, preferring to learn directly from the Sith lords of old themselves. It was on one of these excavations that he found the schematics and Sith crystal he used to build his lightsaber.
To this day he is still an amendment Sith archeologist and can often be found on Korriban searching for new secrets to feed his constant thirst for power. It is through these actions that he has become such a practitioner of Sith Alchemy. His specialty with Sith Alchemy is metallurgy and he often works as a weapon and armor smith for the Sith lords above him. He seeks to learn Sith spawn alchemy though as he desires to create a new species of foot solider obedient to his will.
Now ranked as a Sith Marauder in the order he can usually be found on Korriban or Ziost doing a variety of things. He prefers to spend his time doing archaeology work in ancient tombs uncovering dark secrets or practicing his alchemy and forging weapons and armor. Although with the feeling that a war approaches he is often pulled away from his private work to help train acolytes and lecture them on Sith philosophies. When the opportunities arise he personally trains under Sith lords himself when he can.

SITH ALCHEMY:
Xezgul Azool is a specialist in Sith metallurgy, the craft of melding dark magic and metal together, his sword and armor a testament to his skill in this field. He works as a weapon and armor smith for the order crafting sinister weapons and dark armor. He is only now beginning to learn how to work with spawns.
