Summary Xora Rzardi is a jack-of-all-trades career criminal with megalomaniac designs. Through the use of guile, manipulation and feminine charm she hopes to achieve her goals. To that end she is ruthlessly efficient, cold and arrogant, often viewing others as tools and pieces upon a Dejarik board. What most see is a flawless façade designed to engender the response of her choosing. The truth behind the façade is much darker and far more fragile. Personality Xora projects a presence of calm and serenity and has been documented as being able to maintain such a façade even in the most strenuous of circumstances. However, this examiner has noted that Xora has no qualms about using her beauty and the traits of her people to get what she wants. This leads the examiner to believe that Xora is actually quite a deceptive and manipulating person, who may only be out for herself and her own interests. She, however, fervently denied this when the question was posed to her, stating that, ‘she only seeks to aid others and that if she gains from the outcome that is just a happy coincidence.’ The extent of her beguiling tendencies have not been revealed, as this examiner is hard pressed to gain the truth behind the guise, but it is the opinion of the examiner that she is extensively skilled in the arts of persuasion. As was noted before, she seems to have a bit of a superiority complex, believing herself and her long-lived species to be better than the rest of us. The reason why, this examiner cannot speculate on as he does not know enough about Falleens in general, but it can be presumed that this complex stems from societal and cultural factors from the once xenophobic Falleenan empire. One can often get the distinct feeling that the subject looks down upon them by the glint of her eye or the sneer of her lip, although, if she is deliberately showing this or it is a sign that she has not truly mastered her expressions, remains unknown to the examiner. The subject is also noted to be highly educated and well traveled, having lived for more than a century, it can be assumed that she has seen and done much in her life. When the subject was probed further, she proved coy and evasive. Perhaps, there is something within her past she does not want revealed? However, despite these factors, there does seem to be hope that she is not wholly selfish. As this examination as continued, more information about the woman has been brought before me and has revealed that she does have a soft, perhaps, even, noble side that she hides very well. Perhaps, the reason she hides this vulnerable and noble side of herself is that it is seen as a weakness among her kind. The observer cannot say for certain and these assertions are only conjecture. Beliefs Xora believes in power absolute. To that end it is her lifelong goal to attain power. All else falls to the wayside. All other pursuits are meaningless. There is nothing she won’t do, nothing she won’t sacrifice to achieve the unachievable. It is a fact she knows very well. What she crave cannot be possessed and yet, in spite of that knowledge, she persists unperturbed. As has been hinted throughout her existence, there are reasons for why she seeks absolute power. To protect herself from others, to ensure that she is always in control. The truth, while unrevealed, can be speculated as far hollower than what she’ll lead others to believe. Neutral Evil (Alignment) A neutral evil villain does whatever she can get away with. She is out for herself, pure and simple. She sheds no tears for those she kills, whether for profit, sport, or convenience. She has no love of order and holds no illusion that following laws, traditions, or codes would make her any better or more noble. On the other hand, she doesn't have the restless nature or love of conflict that a chaotic evil villain has. Strengths & Weaknesses Speaking specifically on physical strengths and weaknesses, the subject seems to be in great shape for someone who seems so delicate. We have put her through strenuous tests and inspite of the perceived limitations we thought she’d have, she’s done well. She has not been outstanding by any stretch of the imagination, but she has done admirably. In part, this examiner believes this is due to her knowing her own strengths and weaknesses and how best to use them to her advantage. She is not very strong, but she is surprisingly quick and lithe. However, this examiner and others have noted that she has an overconfidence in her abilities at times and can overestimate her potential, especially when she is on a roll. When faced with a difficult problem that does not require a timeframe of completion, she has been observed to thoughtfully examine the situation from all angles to find the best possible solutions, but when under the gun, she grows impatient and makes rash decisions leading to sloppy results. She also seems to pride herself on her mental acuity and her ability to beguile. However, it is worthy of note that when faced against a problem that cannot be solved that way or overcome by grace she grows frustrated and will dissolve into a childish tantrum blaming all those around her for her own failings and shortcomings. This examiner believes this to be an interesting contradiction to the otherwise serene and dominant guise. She also seems to have an irrational fear of Gundarks and amphibious, non-sentient creatures. As well, she has been noted as saying she is not “fond of Hutts”, finding them repulsive and disturbing base creatures. Additional Sections Physical Composition The subject in question, one Xora Rzardi is of exceptional beauty by human standards as is typical of her species. She has been observed to be at the apex height for her species, standing at a striking 1.6 meters high, which of course by galactic stands would probably be somewhere below the median. Her weight, which the subject was reluctant to reveal was somewhere south of 8.57 stone. The subject’s figure has been observed to be quite striking and fitting for one of her species. Her form is slender, almost delicate, with a moderate bust and shortened torso, while her legs are longer and shapely. Her arms are seemingly proportional to her body, but without a more thorough examination, one cannot be sure. As was mentioned before, she has a striking and alien beauty to her. This is perhaps heightened by the fact that her visage is heart-shaped, sleek with symmetrical lines. Her visage also has facial ridges that are more subtle, with thin eyebrows, doe eyes of amber, a button nose and full lips. Her cheeks have mottled black spots that serve as an equivalent to freckles on humans. The subject has expressed that her natural skin pigmentation is a rich, dusky russet, however like other members of her species she is able to change its coloration at will. Likewise, as a member of the Falleen species, she has been noted for producing pheromones that make her all but irresistible to most other species (a fact that this examiner can attest to). Xora Rzardi (the subject in question) has been rather vocal about preferring to dress in the more refined finery of her peoples, lending her an air of regality in her dealings with us “lesser” beings. She has been noted to believe that by dressing this way it accentuates her physical appeal, rendering “lesser” beings more malleable to her wiles. To this end, her wardrobe consists of all the latest fashions both on her homeworld of Falleen and Coruscant. However, interestingly enough, she has also openly expressed a need and desire to “dumb” down her style in order to better blend in with the masses. To what end, such a regal being would need to do this, this examiner cannot speculate. It is also worthy of note that the subject keeps herself abreast of all trends popular at the moment, often seizing advantage from them by wearing her hair, makeup and jewlery a certain way to best capitalize on the opportunity. At current, she currently favors a stylish bob that sweeps her raven bangs mostly to the left. Being in her presence has been noted by this examiner as being almost unnerving. It is rather hard to discern who is in charge of these proceedings, myself or her. I can only assume this is due to her peoples natural charm and wiles. Perhaps, once this is done, I will go pay Delilah a visit, lord knows its been too long. [On second thought, perhaps I should amend that last part when I submit the final report for review?] Distinguishing Features The subject is noted for not having skin, per se, but small scales that change pigmentation at will, as well as having the ability to exude pheromones that can addle most species into becoming lustfully infatuated with her. Likewise, she has four digits and a thumb on each hand that end in small claws (as well as her feet). Specifically unique to the subject (Xora Rzardi) she has a pair of twin blossom tattoos upon the indent of her hips, made of a special ink that can change color along with her skin pigmentation. It is also noteworthy to note that she has a very calming and serene demeanor that is very hard to read and somewhat disconcerting to this examiner. Biography The subject is noted for having been born on the Falleen homeworld 146 galactic standard years ago to a wealthy upper-middle noble class family. She has stated that her formative years were a blissful time where every want was catered to. She has also stated that she has received the finest education possible given her family's prodigious means and due to their station. It is worth noting that she speaks of those years with a certain wistfulness that is strikingly against her perceived character. When probed as to why this is, she was reluctant to reveal, but ultimately did that those were happier, simpler times. Xora further went on to say that it remained that way up until her 80th birthday when tragedy befell her House. Politicking and intrigue had slowly eroded the Rzardi’s powerbase over the years and by her birthday was beyond repair. Exposed to new and outsides threats, her House collapsed under the pressure. Ultimately the lose of face overwhelmed her prideful father and her committed suicide the night of her gala. She further stated that it was she who found him in his study, no note, simply swinging from one of the exposed joints of the high-ceilinged, lavishly decorated office. It was a crushing blow to her and her family, one that she reluctantly admitted took years to overcome, but the fallout from such an atrocity was far more severe than the simple political outmaneuvering that had caused the situation. With the patriarch of the family dead, and the heir a spoiled brat with no desire to take the reigns of the House and rebuild it, the family fell into squalor. They lost everything. With no connections, no income and having been turned into virtual pariah the family was now destitute. To keep up appearances, her heartbroken mother began borrowing against the family’s assets until the debt was far too steep for her to pay off. With no remaining options to stave off the inevitable, the family truly lost everything and were reduced to a status lower than commoners. Shortly thereafter, her mother took ill and succumbed to an illness that would have easily been treatable had the family had means, leaving the young Xora and her siblings to fend for themselves, something they were wholeheartedly, woefully unprepared for. The oldest and heir to their House, Xim took to petty schemes and half-baked plans to recover their lost wealth and ultimately fell in with the wrong crowd. Owing far too much money to loan sharks and with no means of repaying the debt, Xim took his youngest siblings with him and fled the system, effectively abandoning Xora. However, it was this misfortune that brought about new beginnings. With nowhere else to turn, Xora swallowed her pride and fled to her relatives for aid and support and for a time they put her up, returning her to a prominent place in her society. However, old ways were hard to let go of and she began to live lavishly beyond her means to the point that it put a strain on her uncle and aunt. After repeated threats, she was eventually kicked out of their home, but not before her uncle gave her a substantial sum of credits and a ship so that she might survive on her own. It was the last gift from a family who quickly shut her and her kin out. It was also a lasting lesson. Instead of wallowing in her despair, she seized upon the opportunity and left her home system, heading for parts unknown to make her fortune. In the years that followed she tells of starting several business, growing them, selling them and gaining more wealth, losing that wealth and starting over. Throughout it all the subject was adamant that each setback was a lesson to be learned (even though her base personality suggests that she has not fully learned them). As the years passed and galactic events slipped by her, she remained resolute that she would, indeed, survive. Through this time, she revealed she wore many hats; loved many people and spurned many more. Her only regret is seemingly not seeing the shifting tides of political power and joining the new regime, a sentiment she privately shared with this examiner. At this stage in her life, she looks to new beginnings, while keeping an eye on the past to settle old scores. She believes her fortune and birthright are out there for the taking. It is a dream that this and other examiners believe is the driving motivator behind her every action. Whether she will succeed or fail once again remains to be seen, however there is certainty in this: she will strive on undeterred. Roleplay Development Ever since her return to the Galactic stage, Xora has busied herself by building a base of power. To this end she has enlisted in the ranks of the largest criminal organization to ever span the galaxy: the Hutt Cartel. Since her enlistment, early on in the year 1,023 ABY, Xora has made deals with various influential and prominent Hutts, promising to deliver on a great many things. And while some might have succumbed to the pressures of those promises, Xora has seemingly flourished under their combined weight. One of these deals was the delivery of her home star system (Falleen) to the Cartel, to which gained her a protector, defender and killer in the form of a Kushari gladiator. Since that time, Xora has deviated from her original plan to take part in a large scale heist that swindled priceless objects and untold wealth, gaining her a small fortune to call her own. And, among other things begin a close relationship with a very influential Cartel Kingpin. She has also gone on to begin the framework of establishing her own ‘legitimate’ business with the help of a private and silent investor and has taken part in various ‘missions’ for the Cartel. All of this, she does not for the Cartel, but for herself in order to fulfill her lifelong goal.
Abilities Xora holds a highly educated and analytical mind capable of coming to rapid conclusions based upon the information presented. Her stark intellect leads to an appropriate, though, slightly misplaced sense of overconfidence which leads to her arrogance. She is highly skilled the arts of manipulation. From deception in all its forms to beguiling, to charms as well as subtle and overt cues from her body language, as well as the pheromonal traits of her people, she is well equipped to lull her victim into a false sense of comfort, bliss, attraction and even euphoria, thus allowing her to gain whatever it is she desires from her victim. However, with such a diverse background as hers, her skillset is not limited to the finer arts of manipulation. Although, by far, the manipulation of others in all forms is her most prominent ability and talent. From her formative years attending the finest and most prestigious schools upon Falleen, Xora has a competent handle on all standard trade languages. From Basic, to Huttese Xora is either fluent or knows enough to get buy. This linguistic ear has helped her in her endeavors throughout the years. Whether it was building a conglomerate corporate empire to defrauding of another’s wealth, she has used her ear for language and keen intellect to get what she wants. Following up with this, Xora possesses a keen understanding of business management and acumen. Something that allowed her to get ahead during the periods of her life she attempted to become ‘legitimate.’ Coupling her lethal ability to beguile, is a mind with a keen understanding of computers and basic technology. Having survived for so long on her own with only her intelligence, charms and wit to guide and protect her, she has learned how to manipulate cyberspace. Although, her skills in this forum are currently underutilized, she is still a capable, if mediocre hacker. Her mechanical understanding also extends to the maintenance of her vessels. Vast fortunes have come and gone throughout her life, thus forcing her to learn how to care for her possessions. She is a competent mechanic (when forced to do her own labor) and a decent pilot. And while there is no Corellian blood flowing through her veins, she has been able to narrowly avoid disaster and hazard on more than one occasion. Finally, of her various and numerous skills, she is adept in the art of stealth. This mostly came about out of a base instinct for survival. Being of the fairer sex and an exotic and often-found attractive woman, it became necessary for her to learn how to utilize the shadows and step both lightly and gracefully. Most do not hear her approach, even if they may see her. Her skills in the arts of stealth and subterfuge have also aided her in more direct situations such as bank heists and burglaries.
