Kip taking a strp back after the twos departure, turning to the guards that had approached holding the bags. Slowly kip reached out, and taking a drink, savoring its sweet and glorious taste as it rolled down his throat filling his chest with the warmth of its necture.

As he turned to the door he handed the bag to his companions as he reclothed himself and dawned his sabers.

"I will be outside" kip suggested to the other two jedi as he stepped throught the archways of the door back into the cold chill.

Sarell plucked one of the bags from a Guard's offering hand and gave the wine skin a shake. He could hear and feel the sloshing tea within, and the low heat of its surface eased the cold stiffness in his fingers. The Jedi perked a smile, brought the bag to his lips and pretended to take a swig. He made a show of swallowing his own saliva, and thumbed clean a stray thin stream of the warm tea that ran down the corner of his mouth. As much as he yearned for warm drink in his belly during the hike back, he made a habit of not downing anything he hasn't poured himself.

He placed the still full bag back into the Guard's hand with a light pat, and swung his heavy fur coat onto his shoulders. Sarell tossed a glance at Kal before ducking under and exiting the tent after Kip. He decided he didn't particularly like the kid. It might have been his hair. It might have been the Hapan's overreaching during the tail end of the negotiations that endangered the mission and might have started a violent confrontation, and by extension put Sarell in danger.

Might've even been his boots.

At any rate, his treatment of Kal wasn't about to change. Sarell knew that it never paid to be anything less than kind and respectful to someone who could be standing at your side during a battle, and Kal being a Jedi Knight serving alongside Sarell in the brewing conflict to come made that prospect a lot more likely. He paused halfway through the archway, turned, and beckoned Kal to follow whether he was mid-drink or not. He stepped out into the nipping cold that would be chomping at him come their exit of the valley, and took a place beside Kip. Two guards followed him out, looking ready and eager to escort the Jedi out of their valley. Sarell glanced to the right and down at Kip, and raised a brow. "And now for the boring part."

Yay, more hiking.

Kal raised his hand, rejecting the offer of their tea. He briskly turned on his heels and walked out of the tent. He got a glimpse of what he assumed to be a village of tents, not really a fortified fortress from what he could see, a fire hazard at best.

He was disappointed by the deal but hid it behind a neutral expression. He still had that feeling the tribals really just trying to get rid of them under the stubborn assumption they could fend off the Sith by themselves. They where foolish and they where going to get themselves killed, not that it really mattered to Kal anyway, he had to keep reminding himself that they where there to get a foothold on the planet, not to appease the valley dwellers.

Kip as he stood outside hailed back to the council and jedi (ooc @Bauren)

"We have established a foothold among the nothern hemisphere of Rhen Var." he spoke into a small holotransmitter, as he glanced at Kip who followed suit behind him. "The down side is we only got to emplace a small unit of jedi in a designated location of their choosing. It is not quit what we set out to establish but it is at least a foot in the door. They request we stay away from their land at best. We are headed back now."

Kip turned to his companions as they approached awaiting them to head back.
