THEME
There was enough logistics involved in this that Fury was debating whether or not he was already regretting the endeavor. The Drast was not above stealing. He did not care that much. He was already the black sheep of his family's name but actually putting in the leg work he had to admit was not something he would deal with without first complaining a little about it.

The rebel operatives sent to go on this were going to have to go to Dressel in neutral space. Once there at least one of them would have to take the ship they were planning on stealing. The man did not like leaving his own ship anywhere but he supposed his own pilot droid and him would volunteer to man the illicitly acquired vessel.

Fury's own XS-100 was coming in for a landing. He had packed a few extra kilograms of welding putt in case they needed to cut their way in. It would probably help if he had his own light saber but he had not really pursued his training in the force since leaving Korriban. His DH-7 blaster pistol had a medium stun setting in the event they had to shoot some people. These were not criminals or people. Sure, they were a company often hired by the Sith Empire but that did not mean they deserved death.

Chances were this ship would have an armed crew of two people at a minimum. The local law was on their side and if the Galactic Alliance rebels were caught they would have to deal with the police, a prospect that Fury was not eager to see. Standing up he patted himself making sure he had everything. The ship, while not heavily crewed or armed was not without its security. It was common place to outfit important freighters with simple security redundancies so they would have to deal with that to once they got to the ship.

With a thud he sighed and made his way to the exiting ramp. They were a block or two away from where the overhead freighter was going, or maybe already had, landed. He would find out soon enough as he made his way towards the public refueling area. Sticking out among smaller ships there was the light freighter.

The overhead was the barely what classified as a light freighter in his book. Immediately though he saw more than the expected amount of guards. He had not accounted for the number of people that might be meeting the transport on top of the ship's crew.

"You seem tense." Arda said walking up beside Brent, glancing up at the the Alliance's newest padawan and stretched her arm across her chest, feeling the pull of her muscles in her back, then did the other arm. "This should be easy." she told him with a bit of a pep in her tone, clearly confident.

She had finally gotten restful sleep while Brent flew his ship to their rendezvous point; she couldn't remember the last time she had slept so well and it was certainly quite the difference from meditation. Generally, she spent more of her time napping in between the chimes of her comm and reviewing mission reports, even with her abilities as a Jedi, nothing seemed to take away the amount of pressures she had leading the rebellion. Though, it seemed if she volunteered to help more on these missions, it gave her the break she needed as odd as it may seem.

The Jedi adjusted her hood over her head, her senses reaching outward to search for anything unusual hidden from eyesight. It wasn't too say she didn't take in her surroundings visually, noting the other spacers in the refueling area.

"You think they'll let us walk right up and inside..." she quirked an eyebrow, brushing her hand along her belt to reassure herself she had everything she needed.

Turning his head he gave her a side long glance. He did not have the same confidence as her, at least not regarding this situation. He knew that it would be best to do this with as little to no violence as possible. Considering the number of guards that would be difficult. "Even after getting to the ship we still need to take off. You have a port scanner right?" He hoped she did. If she was going to be as badass as her reputation indicated then she would probably get there while he did a distraction and then she would be able to slice the ship's systems for take off.

"I don't see any attractive women I'd hit on among them so I don't know how well I'll be able to flirt my way past. Then again..." The Drast wondered if his charm was so amazing that even the same sex would fall for his flirtations.

Ultimately Brent decided to go an alternate route. He did not want both of them to interact with the guards if possible. Walking towards the group of four guards he spoke to the one who had his back turned at first. He turned to look at Brent. "Mind if I bum a cig?"

The man hesitated but gave up a cigara which Brent took with a nod of thanks. Reaching a hand forward he shut out everything else as he focused. His mind went to the desires of the target guard was giving to his fellow employees. With some time and no small amount of effort he pushed forth with the iconc jedi mind trick.

Muttering he said "You want to take a break. Your friends should join you." A moment later the guard looked at his fellow guards and seemed to mouth the words in his own way "I want to take a break. Y'all should join me." some of them would look at one another curiously but they shrugged and the group of four turned to pull out cigaras and head out of sight. Brent definitely felt a bit tired after that. Maybe on the ride off this planet he would get a chance to take a snooze. Thankfully the addictive substance of the cigara made it easy for his suggestive powers to take hold. Now they just had to deal with another nine guards. Brent dropped the unlit cigara on the ground, with no intention of smoking it.

going to try and do a ranged jedi mind trick on one of the guards to try and convince his fellows to abandon their posts for a break (Success)

Tycho was a tad bit behind on following Arda. While the General did ride along in Brent's ship, the man was beating out old dents in his armor and was struggling to get one out of a part that would go over his left knee. The same one he took the most damage to when that Sith pulled him to the floor. Now that he had gotten the dent out the criminal rushed out to catch up with the other two. Not that he is in a real hurry. The mission details made it sound like it will be an easy job, plus with him showing up a bit late will allow him to provide back up if the other two have gotten into trouble by the time he gets there.

But he will arrive just in time to catch part of the conversation. During which Brent didn't look too confident. If the kid is going to go through with this job he needed to change whatever thoughts that are going through his mind. If he lets negative thoughts go through his mind then the job will not go well for the three of them. He won't say anything though. The new recruit will have to figure that out for himself.

Holding his favorite Westar Carbine in his hands, the man watched Brent give Arda a side long glance before heading over towards four guards. Now what is his plan to deal with them? Tycho does not have much knowledge in the force or abilities that Jedi can do. Besides what he personally experienced in the past. So naturally he is a bit clueless. Scanning the area the General debated on what to do. Should he head towards the freighter they are here to steal or to a position to cover the other two?

Looking over to the nine remaining guards Tycho then scanned the area for a spot he can use as a good spot to cover the two jedi. Sadly from where he is at the man couldn't see anything that he can use. Leaving the officer to have to ponder on his move. Maybe when Arda gets moving he can simply follow her over to the Freighter and provide the Jedi Master with some cover as she sliced into the ship.

The opportunity to get to a position to cover the two jedi right now was too good to pass up. So Tycho looked around again and spotted some crates he can use. Why didn't he spot them before? Taking a deep breath the General tried to move towards the stack of crates only to have two guards come running over, "Oi you shouldn't be here!" The criminal froze wondering what to do now.

Tycho had been lagging behind, but Arda was not too worried, she didn't think it would go well for them if a group of strangers approached the guards on patrol at the ship they were looking to ride out of here. Though her attention would fall back onto Brent who mentioned something more or less about flirting his way past security. The Jedi Master rolled her eyes, but she felt the comment should not surprise her in knowing Brent this far. However, it did surprise the Jedi Master with a different route the padawan took to get past four of the guards; targeting just the one, he managed to send all four on a smoke break as he disposed of the cig, but their success would be short lived as she heard someone calling out behind her.

Arda turned to see Tycho had drawn some attention to himself as a guard told him he wasn't supposed to be there, seeing the crates stacked, there were other supplies and containers around the docking area, most likely full of supplies for either the space port or what needed to be transferred. However, it didn't matter to Arda as she picked a round barrel stacked on top of other barrels behind the guard that was yelling at Tycho. With a quick and subtle wave of her fingers, the Force pulled the barrel down, spilling thousands of tiny durasteel ball bearings across the ground. The guard turned around and let out a string of curses, completely forgetting about Tycho looking suspicious as now he had a bigger mess to clean up. The other guards glanced over, but didn't bother to go investigate as the one did, waving his arms and pointing to some of the other men for not stacking the containers properly.

The Jedi nodded for Tycho to join them, pulling out a datapad to pretend to look like they were on official spacer business, "Ok, so how do we get the rest out of here..." she whispered, pretending to be pointing to some crates behind them.

A satisfied sigh escaped the man's lungs as he saw the guards depart out of sight. He made sure to grind the tabac filled vice into the cement floor of the landing area. Adjusting his garb he straightened his appearance to collect himself after the charad.

Turning around Brent looked around to signal his cohort in time to see the belated arrival of Tycho. The man wanted to signal him but it seemed he was already in action and intent on his attempt to surpass the security that was already significant. The Drast's eyes darted towards the guards wondering if they would see him. His concern not hidden in the slightest yet seemed to manifest even further when the guards called out to rebel.

Brent cursed inwardly at the failure and the shear stupidity of the man. He was supposed to be a lieutenant after all wasn't he yet he had just tried to stroll in with nothing more than a confident posture. Then again, Brent had been able to pass security in other places with far less.

This was an opportunity all the same and Brent would not pass it up. The improtu distraction gave Brent and opening and he took it. Walking towards the ship he more or less tried to do the same thing that Tycho had. Unfortunately with the guards being on high alert one of the guards turned just in time to see the man moving towards the ship at a rushed pace and drew his blaster. Wide eyed, Brent held up his hands but the trigger happy man let off a blaster bolt in his direction that caught him square in the chest and knocked him to the ground. "sonovagundark" he said through clenched teeth as he felt the pain in his chest spread.

Brent is going to try and sneak past those that are distracted by Tycho's failure

Tycho headed back over to Arda. He figured that he was spotted so easily because either he is rusty or the guards are on a higher alert status than other places he has sneaked into in the past. Perhaps it was the latter reason that he was spotted. Ye that is it. As he got back over to the Jedi Master, trying to fit into the role of being someone who runs a business with the woman next to him as the officer looked at the datapad, "That is a good question." He will whisper back to Arda as he looked at the crates that she was pointing to.

Then he heard the unmistakable sound of a blaster going off. Looking up the General spotted Brent on the floor. At first he pondered the idea of walking over and knocking the guard out. But there was the issue with the other remaining guards. There is no way he can go over and knock the guard out that shot Brent without being spotted himself.

There has to be another way to get the guard off of the fallen rebel as well as give him the window to get back to Arda and Tycho. The General thought quietly, looking around for a way to distract the guard. His hands subconsciously searching his gear. His left hand coming to a stop at his frag grenades gave the man an idea. The noise will distract the one guard and possibly the others if he pulled it off right. No the noise will most likely draw all of them away for some period of time.

Perhaps giving the three of them a window to act. That is if the distraction works.

With his hand on the grenades the man looked around. Trying to spot something that he can blow up to create a distraction. That was when he spotted a stack of crates to his left at the other side of the landing pad, separated by a small wall that prevented ships from landing too close to each other. There is one with no top on it. It is quite the arm throw away. Like he will have to through really hard to make the throw. Which he can do no problem. It is just getting it done without being spotted.

"Hold that thought." He will say quietly before walking away from Arda towards a corner that will hide him from the line of sight of the guards. If any guards spotted him moving away it would look as though either he got bored of the job or needed to take care of something else. Once out of view the man took out one of his grenades. Arming it he threw the grenade hard towards the open crate he had spotted. With the grenade getting inside the crate the criminal walked back over to Arda, looking as though he was not up to anything worth worrying about. A few seconds later the grenade went off, causing the opened crate and the others to blow apart.

Now it is to see if any of the guards are fooled by the distraction the General set up and go to investigate it.

Well, this whole thing was becoming messy, Tycho came over as Brent decided to go his own path, attempting to walk past the guards and to the ship, but ended get shot in the chest for his own ignorance. She really didn't hope he took her suggestion earlier seriously to heart otherwise she was going to have to sit down and have a one on one talk with the young hot-shot. Tycho gestured for her to wait, while the guards were figuring out what to do with Brent as they surrounded him, two lifted him up as Tycho's grenade went off behind the creates, even sending Arda to cover her head and face as she ducked out of the way of flying debris. Now curses were being thrown all over the place as the guards dropped Brent rather roughly to the ground.

All nine of the guards were distracted by Tycho's plan, the one who had been investigating the overturned barrel of bearings was blown backwards several feet and had to be helped up by some of the guys present. Arda could feel the confusion in the Force and knew it would quickly become fear; she saw it as her chance as she made a quick walk over to the ship as the guards begun to yell something about getting the ship primed and ready to get out of here; she would be more than happy to get it out of here.

Some guards returned to Brent while others took care of the other who was blown back, they begun to lift him up as Arda climbed the boarding ramp; she hit controls to retract the ramp, the door closing. If Brent broke free of the guards, he may be able to make it on board also, the confusion in the over turned barrels, exploding crates, and mysterious stranger left the men confused as to what was going on, they may not have even noticed the woman entering their ship in order to take off, possibly thinking it was one of their own who had secured their supplies.

Getting shot was never fun. Brent could safely say this was the worst that he had felt in a long time. Perhaps it was the worst he had felt ever. But there was always a worse experience around the corner.

An explosion rocked the area that jerked the Drast from his experience of self loathing. Groaning he rolled to the side seeing those that had shot him were moving either to get to cover or were actually running towards the explosion.

Pulling out his DH-7 he managed to squeeze off two shots to the two that were coming to drag him away. Thankfully they went down. However he was not so lucky to go unscathed. One of them already had their blasters trained on him and was able to let lose a shot that clipped his left arm and make it numb.

The man got up with some diffuclty while the other guards were distracted and quickly shuffled his way towards the ship. He opened and closed his left hand, making it into a fist and then flattening it. There was no feeling in it. Hopefully it was not permanent. Once inside the ship he passed off his port scanner to one of his cohorts so they would be able to begin the slicing process of the ship's system.

The plan worked. It actually worked. The General executed his plan with the thought that there will be that small chance that it wouldn't. But then of course it would since there was an explosion involved. Who wouldn't go to investigate the explosion? It gave the rebels a fairly good window to get to the ship while the guards are distracted. Something he took advantage of as well as he followed Arda over to the ship.

Once the three were inside the ship, Tycho will be the one who will take the port scanner Brent held out. This is his area of expertise thanks to his years as a criminal. Proven as in no time as he successfully hacked into the ships system, which is good but there was one problem., "Alright. Good news is I am in the system. The bad news is we won't be getting out of here. Whoever was on this ship last turned everything off. I will have to switch them on before we can get out of here." He told Arda and Brent.

Panting heavily the Drast wondered if maybe he was too much of a jester and this was the galaxy playing a trick back on him. The numness, the pain, where he felt one he wished it was in the other's place. Getting to the cockpit with a staggered step the man plopped himself down in the pilot's seat.

After Tycho finished his slicing Brent poked at the controls and began getting the ship ready. The subtle thrum of the ship's engines and power went unnoticed through thanks to the easy hand of the rebel. He was mediocre resistance fighter but at least he knew his way around a ship.

"Alright, you might want to hold on to something. I'm going to take us up and out." With that being said he lifted the bulky ship off the landing area and into the sky. There were no calls coming in over the vessel's communication link. No anti-air defenses or any indication that there was anybody coming after us, at least not before they would be out in the atmosphere. "Can someone see if there's a first aid kit onboard?" He added with a wince, still feeling the pain in his chest. No doubt he would for a few days even with kolto.

going to see if their take off can avoid attention
