We have a good thing going on here that caters lots of writing styles and such.

Glad to have you! Reading is about 50% of what you do here so I hope that wont be an issue. The TLDR for getting started is looking over the announcement board as we are starting a new time line here soon
Then looking over the site rules, and then taking a look at the character profile board.

It is coming sometime in December, but we havent been given an exact date yet. So you have time to get your bearings before that arrives. In the meantime, we also have a discord server that alot of people use to chat and whatnot. You can find instructions on how to join by clicling the discord section on the top tool bar.

I presume this means ''What is the timeline thing?'' - so in short, SWRP operates around telling stories, in what we call 'Timelines'. These are periods in which the RP is set, and currently are about to move 'back' in the TL to the era of SW history in which the group known as the Exiles split from the Jedi Order. You can find loads of information about this in the Announcements board.
