You Can't Always Get What You Want OOC (Soliciting for Involvement)

Greetings fellow galactic citizens,

I'm introducing my character, Evelyn, in the above-named thread, and am looking to introduce some ambiguity as to where her path leads (Light vs Dark). Currently Nerovec is the active Sith agent intercepting her, but if there are any Jedi who feel like joining the thread, I'd love to see a little opposition to the Dark influence.

Right now she could fall on either side of the coin, and either way it would be a gradual transition to either master her emotions or submit to them and overcome old prejudices. It would be interesting to have a Light representative in the thread as well, if it makes sense for your character without shifting the focus into a duel. If you're interested but can't see your character showing up without it turning into a duel with the Sith who's present, let me know and we can work out a way to make it more of a brief interaction.

Edit: I'm up for other non-Jedi or Sith characters to join as well, just trying to flesh out the character to get things started.

Yeah, I understand why - I've set Evelyn up to be pretty conflicted and raw with emotion right now - but I was hoping for a little more back-and-forth from at least one other person to help forge her path, rather than a default due to lack of interest. :-/

Dont let the Sith take you in, even if you are going to be dark side its much more fun to do it by yourself.
Bunch of bad guys teaming up togather always sounded like a stretch to me :/

I agree, though for storytelling purposes in a setting like this, the Rule of Two might be overly restrictive.

I'm not sure which side of the coin Evelyn will end up falling on, or if she'll hang out in the grey. That's the fun of RP, after all - rather than having to think up an entire story on your own, you can set the ball rolling and engage with other folks to see what path it takes. :-)

That post makes some excellent points about how Force usage would affect someone, thanks for sharing it. I guess I didn't mean grey in terms of "grey Jedi," but more "oscillating slightly without proper training/direction." More a commentary on her character than her Force usage.

Can I still join tho? Most of the RPs right now deal with combat, and while my character would certainly want to be in it, I'm more up for polishing what kind of character he is. He uhh, eludes me at the moment, if that makes sense lol
