Their advance had been more successful than Naale had expected. Although they were meeting some resistance, it was minimized by the fact that most of the Hutt forces were concentrated on the capital building, not the two squads of Imperial stormtroopers steadily advancing from the rear. Currently, she was hunkered down behind a pile of rubble with a few troopers. There was a group of Hutt soldiers clumped up in an old building. Although there were only a few, they had the high ground-and the E-Web.

At that moment, the heavy weapon made its presence known by sending a short burst of fire into Naale's cover. Shrapnel rained down on the Imperial troops, but fortunately their armor was durable enough that any major injuries were avoided. Still, she felt a small sting in her wrist and glanced down. Wedged into her environment suit, between the armor, was a small piece of stone. Cursing silently, the Chiss gently pried the offending debris out of her skin and flicked it away. "You okay, sir?" the trooper next to her asked, shifting uncomfortably in his crouched position. She silently nodded. "We need to knock out that repeater," Naale said instead. Raising a hand to the side of her helmet, she activated her comm. "Bring up a KTV repeater. The rest of you, get ready to provide covering fire." There was a curt acknowledgement over her helmet comm, and a moment later a soldier was sprinting across the street, clutching a KTV repeating blaster by the middle and keeping low. The enemy gunners spotted him and began to swing their weapon around to fire at him, but before they were able to Naale rose halfway out of her cover and popped off two shots before ducking back down. She didn't hit anything, but it was enough to distract the enemy gunners long enough for the KTV gunner to prepare his weapon.

The sound punctured the noise of battle, ominous and lethal. It sounded like someone was ripping up a piece of flimsi incredibly fast. That wasn't it, through. This was a weapon. The E-Web went silent, and Naale rose from her position, weapon at the ready, and moved forward with a small nod to the KTV operator. Behind her, the rest of her men advanced as well, stepping through smoke and over rubble and bodies like unwavering grey-and-white angels of death. "Good work," Naale said coldly, her voice altered a little by her helmet.
(Mostly a filler post. Nobody can directly see them, they will be at Main Street next round.)
