The corporate shadow war between Blackwell Technologies and Czerka Corporation was a long known whisper in the galactic underbelly. Less of a whisper and more open chatter in the boardrooms of the various galactic mega corporations.

Yvon was generally opposed to monopolization, philosophically preferring the idea of free market and open competition. The _idea_. They liked the idea of the credits Blackwell was willing to pay them even more.

It was for this reason that Yvon sat in a seedy hotel surrounded by electronics on the capital of Telos IV, the supposed location of a Czerka Hunter-Killer droid factory that was their target. The goal, infiltrate and upload a Blackwell provided dataplague to the factories mainframe… far easier said than done. They had spent the weeks prior scoping out the planet, infiltrating the local holonet to scoop up relevant data. Satellite mapping, shipping schedules, client and employee listings. A plan, in its infancy, was beginning to form in the slicer's mind.

There was of course an unknown factor that needed to be accounted for, Yvon's partner in this mission. Ability and temperament needed to be gauged, background sussed out. Trust earned. It was no easy thing getting in, and more importantly out, of a factory full of assassin droids.

And so Yvon waited for the arrival of their unknown partner in the seedy hotel room, sitting quietly as readouts splayed across the screen. The epidermal disguise they wore over their face was mildly uncomfortable, but it was a small price to pay to appear as a slight human male. Dark locks of dyed hair hung lankly just above their blue eyes as they say their in a black hoody and sweatpants, skin tone dyed hands typing away easily at the keyboard as they generated several correspondences for their plan.

There was nothing like some Corporate Espionage to start the day.

Lissa had been both a docking engineer and a mercenary, both professions began on Nar Shadda. Nar Shadda criminals loved to gossip - hell, most mercs did - it was almost a way of life. It was a good way to establish a reputation, gain information about how the playing field looked, and it was a great excuse to have a drink with some colleagues. The corporate cold war between Blackwell and Czerka was old news by this point, but the general rule of thumb was to always keep your thumb on it's pulse because, old news or not, it had a habit of churning out high paying jobs like a repeater with it's trigger taped back.

Lissa wasn't entirely sure why she had been given the job though. She was willing to bet that hundreds of other mercs had jumped for it, yet she was chosen, she didn't even have much in the way of a reputation that she knew of. This meant one of three things - she needed her ears checked, she was expendable, or all the mercs before had gotten the job and...well, the less broached on that possibility, the better. For now, she was willing to take the leap, but she was most definitely on guard as she arrived at the hotel, stepping off her swoop and stuffing her hands in the pockets of her coat. She strolled through the doors, grabbing the given name of her partner from the receptionist before giving her a little something to encourage a zipped mouth.

A couple of floors up, she knocked four times on the door, waiting patiently for it to open...

Yvon had just finished typing up several mass holomail messages along with a few bundles of code to send as attachments when a knock sounded out at the door. Four slow knocks. Either it was their contact... Or the job was a bust.

The slicer flipped a short and wickedly sharp dagger out of their sleeve, holding it backhand with the blade hidden up along their wrist as they rose and crossed to the doorway. A deep breath.

Shhhhwwwt.

The door to the place slid open to reveal a woman, likely the merc who was their partner for the job. Yvon stood there as their eyes adjusted to the outside light for a moment from within the dimly lit hotel room, glancing each way quickly, they ushered the woman inside before closing the door behind them.

"Alright, let's get down to business. You can call me Vance." They said dispassionately, still holding the knife hidden behind their arm, just in case. If the name the woman offered didn't match the info they had, she might just find herself gurgling blood in the bathroom while Yvon finished the job.

The apartment itself was about one would expect from such an establishment. Barely furnished, likey only cleaned every several guests. Yvon had made certain to sweep for cameras and listening devices before setting up. The most notable thing would be their slicing set up, several screens and stacks of processing units neatly arranged on a desk in the corner. There was a trash can full of empty paper coffee cups next to it that indicated an extended residence here... Or a heavy caffeine addiction.

Lissa waited for a few moments...then a few more moments. When the door finally opened, her hand had wrapped around the holdout blaster concealed in her pocket, just in case - pays to be careful after all. The name checked out, though something was vaguely off about the person standing in front of her, couldn't quite place her finger on it though. Something to keep in mind. Lissa followed her into the room, closing the door behind her, and examined the hotel room for a moment. Messy, but bare, with a setup she didn't understand but recognized as a slicer's deck. It seemed to be the only thing remotely cared for too, it was the only thing aside from the bed that didn't have a layer of dust over it, and even the bed was getting there.

"Lissa Blackhand, pleasure," She said, finally looking back at her partner for the job, whom seemed to be equally as tense as her, if not more so, staring daggers at her. A slight smile curled at the corner of her mouth as she nodded toward her. "I'll show you mine, you show me yours?" She asked, a hint of playfulness sneaking into her voice as she found herself more settled that this was indeed her partner. She removed her hand from her pocket, a single finger holding the trigger guard of her holdout blaster as she cocked her head at this 'Vance', then the trash can. "Pretty sure an all-liquid diet is unhealthy."

The name checked out. Yvon, or Vance, relaxed slightly, loosening the grip on their blade as Lissa gave a slight smile. More words and a revealed hold out blaster. Yvon cocked their head for a brief moment, half expecting the woman's hand to literal be black. It was. Yvon gave a slight shake of their head at the thought while wondering just how long it had been since they last slept while revealing the dagger holding it loosely before slipping it back into its wrist sheath.

A blade versus a blaster, in these close quarters... If Lissa was any good then she would realize she would be wearing a red grin from ear to ear before she could even think about pulling the trigger if things had gone sideways.

Yvon glanced at the trash can full of coffee cups before shrugging. "There's a noodle package in there somewhere..." They said as they wondered just how far down the remnants of their last meal was in the trash. The thought of food triggered a grumble in their stomach that told them... Probably too far.

"We'll get some food later." They nodded to themselves before appraising Lissa. "What am I working with here? What are you good at? The only info I got was your name..." Yvon asked as they moved back over to their computer seat, spinning it to sit facing Lissa. "I assume that's not the name you want on your Czerka ID card." Normals usually operated under their true names, unlike slicer's like Yvon who usually worked under several redundancies. Yvon wasn't even their true birth name, but the closest they had to one they wore regularly.

Lissa eyed the knife warily, thinking on how easy it would've been for her to just slice her up. Knives are better for close encounters, she needed to remember that. She probably would've been able to get a shot off considering the blaster was already aimed forward, shooting through the pocket wasn't a problem, but unless it was a kill, it wouldn't have helped much. She placed the blaster back inside her pocket and pulled out her other hand, holding a small sealed bag with an apple inside it.
"That should help you for now, if you're interested?" She said, offering it. Even she heard that gurgle, this person had barely eaten, and in addition to just not being healthy, it could impede her thoughts and she needed to be able to think clearly for the job ahead.

When Vance sat down, Lissa followed their lead, sitting on the bed across from them. "I've been reliably informed that I'm only good for shooting things, but I'm an engineer too, used to work on ships as a day job, so make of that what you will," She said, stifling any burgeoning memories - stay focused girl, you don't need to think back on that right now. "As for names, I'm partial to Eisa T'varnus, that work?"

Yvon stared at the offered apple for a moment as Lissa held it out before waving it off. An apple wouldn't solve their hunger problems, and echoes of fairy tales from their childhood about poisoned apples rang in the back of Yvon's mind.

"Not right now." They said as they spun back around to the slicing deck and started plugging in the info for one Eisa T'varnus, Czerka Engineer.

"Engineer. That's good. Can you still talk the technical jargon, or at least make it up convincingly?" They asked as they finalized the details. There was still a few steps before the ID was ready, but having the details down now was good. They turned their attention to another screen where they had left the holomail drafts up, a variety of messages spanning from meeting requests to pills for erectile dysfunction, all linked with bundles of code that would get Yvon access to the personal holomail accounts of whoever clicked on them.

It took a few moments to upload them all to an algorithm that would sequentially generate dummy holonet accounts to spam the emails at the Czerka holomail list that they had dug up online. All there was to do now was wait. Wait somewhere they could eat.

"Come on Eisa." Yvon said as they stood up and grabbed a slightly too large leather jacket off the back of the chair, slinging it over their shoulders. Best to get in the habit of remembering the alias now. "Let's go get something to eat." And with that they led the way out of the room. Their destination, a bar named Off Shift that was located near the Czerka tram that went to the factory. "You any good at picking pockets?" They asked as they led the way.

They didn't accept the apple, for what reason, she didn't know - maybe they still didn't quite trust her, which was fair, she could be playing the long game. Either way, no use crying over spilled apples, Lissa simply took it out the back and started eating it herself while watching the slicer work. She'd thought about learning how to slice before, but she figured there was only so much knowledge you could cram into a head before it started leaking like a poorly made reactor. Cultivating a friend who was a slicer seemed more practical, especially given her line of work and the thoughts in her mind about adding more cybernetics - needed to keep her firewalls strong, so it speak. She nodded in response to the question about her engineering expertise.

"I try to keep up with the Thornes, shouldn't be anything I can't discuss or banthapoodoo my way through," She said confidently. She liked to read technical journals in-between romance stories and crappy Canto Bight Holonovellas so she should be able to convincingly play the Corpo Engineer. She watched her partner go through multiple emails and what looked like a fabrication program of some kind before grabbing their coat and leaving it behind, deciding now was a good time to eat. Lissa tossed the apple core into the trash can and followed behind, mock saluting in acknowledgment. Stuffy room musk gave way to fresh-ish air and a nice breeze, and Lissa walked side by side with Vance toward the diner. "Competent enough, why? If it's for food I can just pay for us both."

The subject of the Thornes blindsided Yvon for a moment, not quite catching the expression but rather taking the words literally.

"You too? Did you catch the latest Emryc issue of GalaxySports Limited? Talk about dreamy." They babbled for a moment before catching themselves as the led the way outside.

The revelation that Lissa could in fact pull off some sleight of hand was a relief, taking a little pressure off of the slicer as they cleared away the allusion to poverty. "Not for food, we need to snag a pair of ID cards. Czerka makes them in house so without a physical copy to slice new identities onto, our ways into the facility are highly limited."

If they could get their hands on a pair of ID cards the whole mission would go a lot smoother. And where better to do that then the bar where all the blue collar Czerka employees drank away the sorrow of their corporate drudgery.

The bar itself was a large two story affair, designed to handle the mass of employees who opted to spend part of their pay drowning the pain of working for Czerka in alcohol. The perfect place to catch a few employees napping or passed out and swipe their cards. They might get in huge shit the next day when they showed up for work without them, but that wasn't Yvon's problem.

Yvon checked their wristchrono before walking up to the place, noting the next tram from Czerka would be arriving in just a few minutes. "Let's go get a table and food and drinks ordered before the next rush arrives." They nodded to Lissa.

Lissa paused for a moment, staring briefly at Vance's vacant, dare she say wistful, look as a turn of phrase seemed to hit a sensitive spot. It was unexpected, but she couldn't suppress a smile at it, twas cute and refreshing. She followed along, watching the passers by go about their business, though it appeared a fair few were headed in their direction too. If they weren't heading to what she presumed was a popular place to eat and drink, she would've been suspicious, but sure enough, Vance confirmed they needed Czerka ID Cards lifted from a couple workers and, as the Off-Shift came into view, it was abundantly clear that was the bystanders real destination.

She wasn't kidding about the next rush if that was the case, Lissa almost had to grab Vance's hand and rush them to the front of what was about to be a queue, but thankfully she was quick enought o just scurry in front of them at the last minute, saving a spot for Vance as the waiter addressed them.
"Just a table for two please," She said politely, nodding at the waiter as he pointed out a small table for them. It struck her as odd that there was a waiter directing people like it was a fancy restaurant, but the place was evidently popular so it made some sense.

Liss took the seat with her back to the window, blinking the natural light out of her eyes before taking a breath. "So I'll grab what we need when I go up to the bar to order, right?"

Yvon followed behind Lissa as the woman managed to snag them a table in the middle of the rush. They cringed away from any contact with other patrons of the bar as they made their way through the crowd. Lissa managed to get the window seat, and instead of sitting with their back to the establishment and the door, Yvon pulled their chair around to the side of the table.

With their back to the wall, Yvon had a good vantage point to see the door through the quickly crowding bar, and the tram station a ways off through the window.

"Not yet." Yvon said, holding a hand out to indicate slowing the pace before leaning in towards Lissa. "Let the Czerks enjoy a few drinks first, can't have them aware." They said quietly before glancing at the holomenu. "I'll have the blue ramen." 'Vance' told her. They would watch the merc go before their attention was drawn to a distinct buzz in their pocket. The cameras.

Yvon pulled their nalphone, quickly typing im a keycode, expecting to see room service entering their hotel despite the 'do not disturb' sign. Instead, they were treated to a view of a squad of men busting down the door, dressed in Czerka corporate security uniforms. They scowled, typing a command into the phone as one of the men rushed over to the slicing rig at the desk.

SuperNoVa

The slicing rig would receive the command as the man hit the chair, drives wiping themselves clean as small incendiaries ignited at various points in the rig and at the wall where it was connected to power. The men fled as smoke and flames swiftly began to consume the computer and surrounding room.

Yvon put their phone away frowning. That was quick. Czerka clearly had a crack cybersecurity team at the site, which made sense given the product they manufactured. They rubbed the bridge of their nose as they thought of how to proceed while they waited for Lissa to return.

Lissa nodded along, seeing what she meant, though she wasn't planning on fleecing any of the sober Czerks, she was gonna go for the ones already plastered out their minds. Then again, they were few and far between right now and the job didn't seem to have a time limit per se...probably would be best to just sit tight and let them make her job easier. Glancing over the holomenu, she noted Vance's order and settled on her own before rising from her chair and heading over to the bar to order.
"Blue Ramen and the Cannok Steak, medium-rare, with a side of mashed potatoes please," She asked with a smile, getting a nod in return.

She was informed the order would be but a few minutes so she stood there for a little bit, looking around and taking in the bar. It was a pretty calm atmosphere, bordering on jovial for some of the more intoxicated folks. She had to fight a grimace looking at the Czerka workers; young-looking men and women, probably barely turned adults, staring despondently at food and drink with dull eyes and etched frowns, the beginnings of wrinkles and grey hairs seeping into their features. This was why she didn't want to work for Corp, that was crossed off her aspirational list immediately when she started thinking about the path her life would take. Say what you will about Engineering or Bounty Hunting but at least you're not being chewed out every ten seconds by-

"Order up! Blue Ramen! Cannok Steak! Medium rare with mash!" A voice called out from behind the kitchen window, the barmen grabbing two plates and bringing them over to her. Lissa thanked him and brought the plates back over to the table, pausing a little as she noted the change in Vance's face. "Something up?" She asked, finally taking off her coat and setting it on the chair before sitting, flexing her cybernetic arm as she grabbed her cutlery.

It took a few moments for Lissa to return and by the time the bowl of blue ramen noodles was in front of them Yvon was thankful for the slight diversion. Setting to the bowl immediately with a pair of chopsticks, they fussed with the noodles for a moment before finding one that was satisfactory and lifting it to their mouth.

"Yeah." They said simply before slurping up the noodle, little flicks of blue broth flying, followed by a brief chew and swallow before they continued. "The room is a bust, someone traced my attempt at securing access." They explained vaguely before eating a little bit more

"We're going to have to pivot the plan." A sense of hunger filled them now as food hit their stomach, slumbering senses awakening to the much needed food. Yvon spent a few minutes consuming more of the food before leaning in and elaborating further.

"Missing cards are too obvious now. I burned what was there before they could get their hands on any info so we should be clear to proceed, but I don't want to play our hand any more than we have to." They whispered near Lissa's ear before backing off and returning to their meal. A few more moments passed as they chewed thoughtfully, systematically running options through their mind. "Are you good enough to return it after snagging one?" They asked finally.

Lissa was silent for a moment, processing the information, before letting out a soft sigh. Go figure, no plan ever survived contact with the battlefield, that was the saying right?

The hotel room was compromised, as was the slicing rig, so now they needed to play this by ear to a certain degree. Lissa listened to Vance's adjustments as she started cutting her steak into chunks and lapping the gravy into the mash, taking a bite after a little bit. The taste was frakking heavenly, sending a wave of warmth and clam along her shoulders like a brief massage. This was the life, right here, eating well and living well.

"I can do it," She said after a few moments, glancing back at the patrons. "Best to do it after our meal though, give the drinks time to work. We can afford 10 minutes, I think." Time ticked by, Lissa enjoying her meal while keeping an eye on the door for any corporate security. As far as she knew, there wasn't any direct link to them in the hotel room, nor was there an indicator of where they were going, so they should be safe for now - best not to linger. When Vance was finished, Lissa took their plate along with hers and returned to the bar, placing the plates on it and ordering some dessert, juuust to pad out the stay.

As she waited, she glanced to her left, then her right, clocking a Czerk right next to her. She waited until the voice called out an order again, prompting anyone around her to briefly look in the kitchen's direction, and in that moment, her hand was quick and deft, pocketing the employee's card. Taking her desserts, she turned and made her way toward the table, her eyes flicking to another ID Card pinned to a Czerk sitting at the bar. As she made to made past him, her hand went up, ready to take it...until his friend clocked him and subsequently yelled over to him. Lissa barely managed to recover before he turned, moving past him without her prize and internally cursing to herself.

She sat back down and passed a small bowl of ice-cream to Vance. "Got you something, just one scoop, couldn't get both." Speaking in code was a risk, especially given it's ramshackle nature, but she hoped Vance would pick up easily enough what was being said - especially since she had two scoops in the bowl.

Yvon nodded as Lissa confirmed that she could do it but best to wait till they were finished eating. As far as the slicer was concerned, there was nothing that would link the hotel room to them in that moment sitting in the bar. They kept an eye out for corpo security all the same though, switching their attention between the outside and Lissa's activities at the bar.

When the woman came back with desert, Yvon subtly accepted the pass of the ID card under the bowl of ice cream, slipping it into the pocket of their jacket that they wore.

"Thanks, dairy doesn't agree with me though. You can have it, I'm gonna hit the 'fresher." They said with a nod. The dairy bit was true, but hitting the bathroom was just cover for gaining some privacy to carry out what they needed to do with the ID. Pushing in their chair, Yvon made their way across the crowded bar to the men's room and locked themselves in a stall and sitting down as they pulled out their nalphone as they examined the Czerka ID.

Yvon snapped pictures of the ID from every angle, holding it in the best light for details. Zoom on all the surfaces. That finished, out came the port scanner to run a sensor scan on the piece of hardware. There was a decent firewall built into the card, intended to keep the credentials private without a specific scan unique to Czerka security. It would take a few moments to figure out and break. Yvon grimaced as they heard the door to the refresher open and close, followed by sounds from the urinal next to the stall.

Outside in the bar, Lissa was sitting alone, waiting. The process would take a bit of time, and after several minutes a drunk Czerka engineer who had been eyeing the couple would catch sight of the fact that the woman was now sitting by herself, a slowly melting bowl of ice cream at the empty chair.

"What's a lady like you doing by herself here. I don't think I've seen you round here before" He would slur a little bit as he stumbled into "Vance's" chair and started to help himself to the ice cream. "What's your name girlie, I'm Teddard."

Lissa watched Vance disappear into the bathroom and waited, keeping an eye out once more. She took her time with her own ice-cream, happily scooping it up in chunks and letting the cold send shivers into his brain. Of course, someone had to ruin a good time, some drunk sat down at the table and immediately tanked his standing in Lissa's eyes.
"Heh...wow," She said with a chuckle, leaning forward. "My name's Eisa sweetie, and I'm sad to say I'm already taken for the day, my partner is just in the bathroom...and that's her Ice-Cream you're eating."

As Lissa spoke, she would bring her hand up and snatch the Czerk's ID Card while keeping his eyes firmly on her. "Teddard, right...well, I'll make it quick Teddy, I'm not interested because, in addition to the fact that you're clearly drunk and you're not my type, you also just ate that Ice-Cream without asking, and that wasn't a very nice thing to do." She let her expression flatten out. "So pardon me if I'm dryer than Tattooine looking at you right now...better luck next time buddy."

Yvon sat in the stall, a few tense moments as they sliced the card with someone pissing in the urinal next door. Mission accomplished, they pocketed the card and port scanner, leaving the stall. They glanced at the sink for a brief moment before shaking their head and pulling a bottle of hand sanitizer out of their pocket as they exited the bathroom and made their way back to their seat.

Just in time to catch the conversation happening between 'Eisa' and the drunk in their seat. A moment of frustration passed through them, for several reasons as they sized the drunk Czerka engineer up. There was a brief spark of connection in their mind as a new idea began to form.

"Teddy was it?" Yvon asked as they came up behind the man, resting a hand on the man's shoulder in a way that appeared gentle, though they applied just a faint amount of pressure to the nerve bundle there. Just enough to keep him in his seat and scared.

"No need to be so mean Eisa, I'm sure our friend here didn't mean any harm." 'play along' they mouthed to Lissa before Teddy looked up at them, a mix of confusion and drunken anger on his face. "Sh-" The start of a word was all he managed to get out before Yvon putting a finger to his lips, shushing him as a shiver of revulsion ran down their spine. They maintained a steady face however even as they wanted to hurl at the feeling of it.

"Quiet now, today's about to be your lucky day." They said before turning their attention to Lissa. "I'm feeling adventurous today darling, why don't we go have some fun with this..." They regarded the man for a moment, gripping him by the jaw as if they were examining him. "This handsome working man, we do like a man in uniform" They put the barest emphasis on the last word, hoping Lissa would pick up on it. If they had uniforms and two key cards now then they wouldn't have to worry about whether the cards were reported missing in the morning. "What do you think Teddy?" They asked as they turned the man's head back to Lissa, not wanting him to linger on their own masculine presentation.

"Uhhyeaaah." The Czerka worker slurred after a moment, moving to stand. "Lemme just grab my work bag." He stammered, eyeing Lissa drunkenly. Yvon made a gagging face as they caught Lissa's eye before mouthing 'sorry' then speaking "Lead the way handsome."

She had to admit, it was a genius move, simplistic, elegant, making use of their natural strengths as well as men's natural weakness. Despite that, the second Vance came over and started laying it on thick for Teddy here, and Lissa realized what she was doing? She had to fight the urge to just shoot him in the head there and then. Admittedly though, despite the, um, unfortunate circumstances, she'd be lying if she said she didn't enjoy the sight of Vance putting on the charm. It actually seemed vaguely familiar, though she couldn't quite place it.

"Adventurous huh?" She looked Teddy up and down, mentally puking. "You know honey, I like the way you think." As soon as Teddy grabbed his bag, Lissa grabbed his hand and let him lead. "Why don't we go back to your place Teddy?" She asked coyly, placing a hand on his chest and flashing a playful smile toward him. He, of course, was all for it, leading them aaaall the way back to his humble little abode, bringing them inside. It wasn't too bad, all things considered, even if the corp ran them ragged, she could see why people would work for them. "Get ready big boy," She said, turning Teddy around to face Vance and gently massaging his shoulders to relax him eeever so slightly. The moment she grabbed his attention, Lissa reached up with one arm and wrapped it around his neck while her other looped under his armpit and pulled his arm up, the two locking him into a sleeper hold.

Unfortunately for her, Teddy was sturdier than he looked. Despite being drunk and unaware, he seemed to take to the sudden attack quite well, lurching forward madly as if trying to throw her off - and he was surprisingly strong for a blue-collar worker. It took everything Lissa had to hold him in place while he thrashed desperately, trying to break free, unable to scream due to her arm around his throat. "Blaster! Pocket! Stun! Muffle it with his belly!" She strained out, trying to keep her voice down and be here over his struggling. If they didn't knock him out quick, he'd break free or someone would hear the commotion and come investigate.

Roll: 3+3 to knock him out

The noodles in Yvon's stomach curdled throughout the whole encounter. They were just glad it worked and the far more charismatic Lissa had taken the lead once she knew what the play was. After a rather obnoxious walk back to the man's place, they were inside and Lissa made her play.

The attempt at a sleeper hold unfortunately didn't go as planned for the woman and the Czerka employee strained against her. She started to say something about a blaster in her pocket but Yvon was already moving, drawing knife in each hand.

The Echani slicer struck, a hammer blow to each side of the man's head at the temple with the ringed pommel of the two knives and he dropped like a sack of rocks, falling to the ground hard.

"Don't touch anything." Yvon said as they sheathed their blades and knelt down to feel the man's pulse. Weak and thready, but alive. Definitely unconscious for the next few hours at least, if he lived. Yvon wasn't particularly concerned either way.

"Help me carry him up to the bathroom." They said, pulling two pairs of thin black disposable gloves from their pocket and tossing a pair to Lissa. The man was heavy but they would be able to lift him to the bathroom and dump him in the tub for storage for the time being while they used his home to prepare for the evenings work.

Liss exhaled hard as she felt the sleemo go limp and practically collapse, with Lissa barely managing to arrest his fall so he, at least, hit the ground gently. Thankfully she did that with the hold he was still in so she didn't touch anything. "Thank you, I didn't expect him to be that strong," She said, taking the gloves and slipping them on and stretching the hem slightly against her wrists with a satisfying snap-back. "I'll need to get a stun stick so that doesn't happen again, not quite as quick as a knife but more believable for self-defense if I'm caught with one."

Lissa grabbed the Czerk's armpits and hauled the bulk of his weight onto herself, carrying him upstairs to the bathroom with Vance's help. Once there, they carefully dumped him in the tub. "Should we tie him up? I don't know how long he'll be out, and I don't know if we're coming back here afterward."

Whatever the answer was, Lissa would proceed accordingly and join Vance downstairs to plan their new infiltration. "He has a couple spare uniforms, so we're good there, might be a little roomy or tight for us though, depends."
