Description​

The Z-4 is the latest and greatest in the market of personal propulsion. A Hefty and well needed upgrade over its predecessor the Z-3. The Z-4 includes built-in targeting computer functionality, fully compatible with almost all common heads up displays on the market. It also includes Flight gyros for smooth flight experiences and a missile.

The Z-4’s fuel tank holds enough fuel for 10 minutes of continuous operation and can be used in powerful three second bursts, of which the fuel tank will allow two hundred of before requiring refueling. Each three second blast mover the wearer up to 150 meters horizontally or 90 meters vertically.

A user of standard/average height and weight can reach a top speed of 150 kilometers per hour, with a maximum flight range of fifteen kilometers. This is of course reduced with users who have greater than average weight, or increased with those less than average weight.

Directional thrusters feature gyro-stabilizers to apply counter thrust for maneuvering and landing. The jetpack also functions perfectly well in the cold of space, a notable advantage over the repulsor style packs.

A new safety feature comes as standard in the Z-4 known as the dead-fire selection, allowing the jet pact to avoid disastrous misfires of its thrusters due to incidental knocks and bangs. The jet pack’s entire feature suite is designed to be integrated into helmet set ups or HuD displays.

The top of the jetpack houses a variable payload launcher that offers four different payload options. The standard package includes:

Two Concussion Missiles
Two High Explosive Warheads
Two Glop Rocket Propelled Grenades
One Toxic Gas Missiles
One Cluster Missile Payload​

A noted downside to the Z-4 is how its fuel is compressed. If ruptured, the jet pack is likely to explode and kill the user. This flaw has been deemed a worthwhile risk of the variable payload launcher and increased operational ranged.

All I have come up with here is a simple Jet pack for use by the Mandalorian folks here on the site. It's pretty standard across the board, however the fact that it does have a weapons system I believed it was necessary to put it through the Tech Submission.

Yes, he told me it was standard, the same as he told me to check though his echelores armour for the HuD setting etc in the Armour

I believe there was an unstated implication for you to change it to fit the timeline's technology as well. But considering how long it'd take to dig up the exact quote in the skype logs, it's moot. It's not unsalvageable, but as it is, it's a direct carbon copy with truncated blurb from my previous tech profile.
