Z6-66 is a highly advanced assassin droid prototype who favors a lightsaber as it's main weapon. He was built for both fighting against Jedi and assassination in mind. Z6-66's skeleton-like chassis is lightly armored with durasteel. It's light frame and limbs enable it to use acrobatics similar to Jedi, and his construction enables him considerable strength as well. It's combat algorithms are highly advanced and has reflexes almost as good as Jedi, giving him good reaction time which is very useful in combat. His chassis also has a built-in full-body energy shield installed, in which activated that can absorb a very limited amount of energy-based damage. As a droid, he is much harder to sense by Jedi plus unable to have his mind affected by one. And also as a machine, it has no biological needs that humans have such as eating, drinking, and sleeping. It is also ambidextrous.
Z6-66 isn't the perfect Jedi fighting machine though. Although it can be mitigated by energy shielding, Z6 is still weak to ion-based weaponry, so if those defenses fail, they can do some serious damage to Z6. Although being designed to kill Jedi, in the end it's just a machine and as such it has no way to defend itself from the Force. Although shielding can provide limited protection against energy manipulation, it has no defense against telekinesis.
PERSONALITY:
Z6-66 has highly advanced AI programming that achieves sentience. He is first and foremost programmed to be loyal to the Sith and be able to operate in missions autonomously and carry out his objectives, plus being able to adjust to unexpected variables along the way. Being a droid, it is a creature of logic, possessing no emotions or empathy. Despite possessing no fear, it does possess self-preservation protocols, in which it will flee from lost fights or other battles it can't win, enabling it to fight another day. Leadership wise, it is able to command other droids effectively should he be accompanied by any. But it won't be inspiring the loyalty of organics though. In battle, Z6-66 is cold and unrelenting, and shows no mercy.
BIOGRAPHY:
Z6-66, was created as a prototype of a new line of assassin droids. It was created in an experimental laboratory based on the planet Ord Radama. Z6-66 was created six months ago, it is state-of-the-art, with it's most distinguishing feature is being able to use a lightsaber. This unit was created with the purpose of fighting against Jedi and assassinating other high-valued targets. While the unit and it's highly advanced AI was in it's infancy, it went erratic during a test run, causing it to go berserk and kill all of the facility's staff in the room. The testing process was being safely observed by high ranking members of the Sacred Band. Some time later, it's AI stabilized. And the Ziosts were impressed by the killing machine's slaughter, and over the span of six months Z6-66 was eventually brought into Sacred Band of Ziosts as a 'Brother' in it's own right. Fortunately the prototype data from Z6-66's creation is still intact. If Z6-66 proves to be successful for what it was built for, it could lead to the creation of lesser advanced copies being manufactured as was intended.
