DESCRIPTION​

Not quite a freighter, not quite a gunship. The ZA-205; for when you need to get from Z to A faster and with no questions asked.

Built by Starfeld Industries to combat something that became known in recent years as a "Outer Rim Problem" - the war between the ISC and the Five Syndicates. With piracy and privateering exploding in 'popularity' as the Syndicates tried their best to combat the ISC's conventional naval might with hit-and-run tactics, there was a need for a ship that could run vital cargo at speeds that typical freighters could not reach. All while still being able to pack a punch if push came to shove.

The answer was a Courier ship but it needed to be one that could fight back long enough to escape; ZA-205 Armed Courier was designed to fulfil this sudden gap in the market.

During the ISC/Syndicate war, production runs of the ZA-205 Armed Courier flew off the lines and barely even landed in the sale yards before they were snatched up by both private buyers and companies alike. Even with the end of the ISC/Syndicate war, business booms for the ZA-205 Armed Courier as future wars threaten to break out across the Galaxy and it has proven itself capable of running, gunning and getting cargo and passengers to safety.
