COMPOSITION AND APPEARANCE:

Zardeth Khul was at one point a typical Mirialan male, standing nearly 1.9 meters tall (6'2") with a lean athletic build. Green eyes and black hair. He was not handsome, but nor was he ugly. Geometric patterns adorned his face, a sign of accomplishment gained during his training as an Imperial Knight.

At the age of 25 none who knew him in his youth would recognize him now, even his family. A training accident left him deformed and nearly dead, if not for emergency surgery and cybernetic implants he would at best be in a vegetative state.

His lower jaw, eyes and brain were replaced, through necessity, after his accident. The black metaled cybernetics are now his most distinguishing feature, and many find that they cannot look him in the eyes without cringing either in disgust or pity.

Zardeth is fastidious about his appearance, not that he cares about fashion, he is concerned with representing the Knighthood well. His armor is always polished, his clothing clean and well pressed. Nothing is out of place, decorum demands perfection for the Knighthood.

PERSONALITY:

Due to his cybernetic brain implant, Zardeth's personality is not what it used to be. He is blunt and to the point, always serious and very rarely willing to utilize or appreciate humor.

His life is consumed with protocol and tradition, there is a certain level of personal comfort in this for him. He knows that he is not the man he once was, so he compensates by trying to be the perfect Imperial Knight in all aspects of his life.

He is a hard man to get to know, partially because he is still trying to understand this new version of himself. What others see of him is a resolute man who will not break in the face of fear or compromise his principles, though honorable he can be distant and impersonal, though he values friendships very much and is loyal to those he counts as friends and Knights.

LIKES AND DISLIKES:

There is really nothing beyond the Order of Imperial Knights that Zardeth Khul cares about, his entire being is consumed with the effort to live up to the standard of what an Imperial Knight is. Even if that is an unrealistic standard.

What he dislikes, more than anything, is cowardice and a lack of integrity. As honor is so important to him, he despises the lack of it in others and will try to avoid associating with individuals that fall short in that regard.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

He is courageous and willing to sacrifice for the greater good, even to the extent that he would give his life for the Knighthood.

His cybernetics grant him some additional benefits which include enhanced cognitive abilities, the ability to link up to data ports (including vehicles) and enhanced reflexes. His eyes allow him to see with increased resolution, enhanced color coordination, and ultraviolet, Infrared, and no light / low light illumination. In addition to these functions, the implants also provide him with telemetry analysis, such as data on heat dispersion, and visual magnification.

His cybernetic jaw replacement grants no real benefits other than to be able to enhance his volume beyond normal human levels and the ability to modulate his voice patterns to mimic others (as long as he has had time to analyze their speech patterns, even if in languages other than basic).

These cybernetics, though granting some very beneficial traits, have a glaring weakness...electricity and ion attacks. These can cause him to shut down completely, which causes his brain to reboot. This process can take a few minutes, and when he comes back online fully he is left disorientated for a few more minutes.

BIOGRAPHY: (Work In Progress)

Zardeth Khul is the son of an Imperial Knight, Zaren Khul, who was a victim of the purge that forced the Knights to flee Bastion. Though 15 at the time Zardeth does not remember these times, in fact he remembers very little of his life prior to the accident that changed him. What he does remember is based on the data collected about his family, and that is filled with gaps he is unable to fill.

Immediately after the purge Zardeth was taken to Mirial by his Mother, who hoped to flee the chaos and put the tragedy behind her shattered family. Only a few years would pass before their past would find them again however, the Knights who were reforming sought out the survivors and found her and Zardeth. His Mother, still stricken with grief, had no desire to put her or her son in danger again, Zardeth protested, he wanted to honor his Father and become a Knight, against her better judgement his Mother gave him control of his future. He chose to go the Sith's Folly and renew his training.

His mother stayed behind and to this day is still alive and well, he presumes, living on Mirial tough he has lost contact with her and has no desire to see her at this point in his life. Not that he doesn't love her, but love is a strange concept to him now. If anything he is concerned with how she would react to the sight of him now, and in order to shelter her from any more pain he chooses to keep his distance.

The accident itself happened soon after he picked up his training again, due to no cause of anyone in particular but rather a simple series of events that led to a severe brain injury. Though reparable it would leave him forever changed, and set him back years in his training as he had to take time off to rehabilitate.

Now able to continue his training he is eager to pick up the shattered pieces of his life and honor the memory, manufactured as it is, of his father. The Imperial Knights are now his only family, and he hopes to serve them to the best of his capability.

Reading his bio it sounds like his father was the survivor and he was born after. Is this correct?

That is what I was going for, not sure if I wrote it in a way that is clear or makes sense in regards to the timeline though.

The purge happened ten years ago. If he was born after it he would have received no training and be ten years old. Those are easy fixes. And are the only issues I see beyond how he rejoined the knights [[if pre-purge]] or found the knights [[if post purge]]

Gotcha, let me do some tweaking here and get that fixed.

EDIT: Okay, updated. Let me know what you think.

It looks good, we will have the code up hopefully tomorrow and details for pre-purge and post-purge.

Only minor things are

if he was on Bastion he would have been trained from a younger age. As a majority were trained from birth on Bastion.

How he after the purge found the knights as they were for the first years running and then in hiding.

Hmmm......maybe something like this:

He and his mother fled to Mirial after the purge. As the Knights reformed word got back to Zardeth and his mother through a friend of his Father (also a Knight, unnamed of course), she protested of course and wanted nothing to do with it, he begged permission to go. Against her better judgement she allowed it, and he returned with his Father's friend to the Sith's Folly to pick up his training where he left off. Soon after the accident occurred, and his training was delayed for years while he recovered and rehabilitated.

That would bring us up to now, and fit better within the timeline?
