Zeison Sha Question

The Zeison Sha are purely Legends canon as far as I can tell. Am I still able to make a character with a Zeison Sha background in the new DOTR timeline if historic Zeison Sha events and dates are generalized and washed out?

I don't see why this wouldn't be available. I'd ask Bac, anyways, since this is something approved on a case-by-case basis.

The Zeison Sha are really interesting. I hope they are available, because that means I can make one further down the line after one of my characters meets a grim end. I'm interested to see what @Brandon Rhea will say about it. This is what he said regarding something slightly similar in the Aliens in Star Wars thread:

Yes, but that's as detailed as you can go with it, i.e. "The Loreli Raiders were overthrown several thousand years ago, and they rea the reason that Hapans are supposedly beautiful and ruled by women." You shouldn't flesh it out anymore than that. That's the Lucasfilm approach to things. For example, Rakata Prime is a canon planet. That's all we know about it though: it's a canon planet. Its existence doesn't canonize the Infinite Empire, KOTOR, or anything like that.

We'll judge future questions like this on a case by case basis as well, so this isn't precedent-setting. Each case can be judged on its merits, including what it impacts regarding site and canon and how much other lore it has to depend on in order to work. In your case, it doesn't affect anything and doesn't need any other lore to make it work, so we're fine with it.

The whole idea of diskblades is what turned me on to them :D I also really like that their cultural mentality isn't a 'light side vs dark side' struggle, but is a 'do what I need to do for my family' kinda thing.

EDIT: Looking at Brandon's quote, I get the idea that there really shouldn't be any problem as long as I'm generally vague about referencing their history as a society.

I like the Zeison Sha, this timeline I dabbled with them. Actually it was me and @Sapphire Storm both.

Anthoni went all Assassin on them and murdered some people. Then he got captured by them and did some other things....

Fun times.
