B I O G R A P H Y

Zessel was a male half-human/half-Arkanian that had joined the Jedi Order during the Force Eternal era.

Born in Nubia during the Force Eternal Era, Zessel was left in an orphanage under nebulous circunstances when he was still young. Some years later, he was identified as a Force user by the Jedi and was brought to the Order as one of the many orphans that would be trained to become part of their ranks. After reaching the right age, the boy joined other initiates in their training and classes. However, it was at this moment that the Jedi noticed that Zessel wasn’t like the other children.

Zessel proved to be a difficult student. He couldn’t focus during classes, with his mind always wandering away moments after it started. The boy couldn’t stand quiet during meditation, soon starting to look at his surroundings in search of something more interesting or simply fidgeting and not being able to sit still for more than some moments.

With all these circumstances, some Jedi believe that the Order wasn’t a place for him. However, many others understood his situation and actively helped him. Wanting to be a Jedi Knight above all things, Zessel makes a great effort to succeed in his training, even if it’s difficult. With the effort of some well intentioned Knights that helped him with his early studies, the boy was able to recently become a Padawan.

While Zessel struggles to sustain attention on tasks that entail delayed rewards or consequences such as meditation and theoretical classes, he is good with lightsaber fighting and other practical activities. However, he can maintain an unusually prolonged and intense level of attention in tasks that he thinks that are interesting. His abilities with the Force are average, with more training being necessary.
