OOC: Open to Imperials and Sith Alike.
Wisps of snow swept across the dark metallic walkways that overlooked the frozen valleys of the Imperial training grounds. The courtyard of the academy was quiet and the only sounds to accompany their footsteps was that of the howling and ghostly wind.

When Galen first arrived he had hated the rampant cold temperatures and the frigid snow that he and his counterparts were forced to march through, but as time went on he grew to appreciate it. He viewed his entry into the Imperial academy as that of raw ice waiting for his mold and form to take place. The Imperial Academy served to be the chisel and artist that shaped him into the mind that he became, and now it was time for him to make his own name within the Imperial Defense Force.

Like many, the young Imperial was awaiting their assignment and duties, some theorized that they would be assigned to protect the Empress' throne, while others gossiped that they would fight on the front lines. But Galen was no fool, he knew that most likely scenario would be deployment as reserves to a backwater planet. It would be boring, but it would be a start and one that he would use to prove his loyalty to the Empress and the War Master Alone.

Lieutenant Dan'dela glanced towards Galen with his aloof eyes as they walked up the steps towards the entrance of the academy, "They say we're moving out soon, do you think we'll see combat anytime soon?"

Galen's head tilted for a moment as he pondered the question, his lip curling up as he formulated his words, "I highly doubt it, not yet at least. Many of the other officers are excited to show off their new uniforms, but I'm well aware that the Shock Corps and the Foreign Legion are the much more desired forces in our Sith Masters minds." He would pause with a slight huff as he turned towards his friend, "Though I will assure you that the Galaxy and the Empire shall soon know the true might of the Imperial force, the Imperial Defense Force is the backbone of stability and the fist of the War Master. We will show those who doubt us soon enough." His head would shift forward, his hands falling behind his back as the two entered into the academy halls.

Serie straightened out her jacket as she walked up the halls of the rather grandiose building. She could hear the graduates all rather excitedly discussing possible futures within the Empire. She paused for a moment to try and listen in on some of the conversations. She would after all be in charge of probably at least a few of the men standing around her. She had recently been granted one battalion of troops and was here to look at the beings for who they were on a more personable level. She wasn't one much for numbers anyway, she was far more fascinated by the people themselves.

She was a little unsure of herself as she stopped and checked her reflection in a bit of glass. She had never had a leadership position before, and now here she was, in charge of six hundred and forty souls. The fact didn't weigh lightly on her conscious. She was like that holovid character, the tomb raider, just going from abandoned temple to temple, looking for artifacts and ancient Jedi texts. Now she was having to be much more sociable than she usually had to be, but she wasn't go8ng to let that bother her. She figured it would actually make the experience better, given her natural curiosity.

She heard one of graduates mention their 'Sith master's and her ears immediately tuned in to the conversation the two men were having. Apparently they thought that they looked down upon the Imperial defense force. She wondered why he thought that and decided she might as well ask him if she really wanted to figure it out.

Ah, And what would make you say that? She asked the two cadets, walking up to them rather casually. The bit about the Sith looking down on the Imperial defense force. Well those weren't your exact words but I have a feeling that's how you feel. She said in a relaxed and unconcerned way.

Ahh yes, the Imperial academy grounds on Ziost, where many legends are born and others are made. As Serie and the other imperial officers had stumbled into a very educational yet boring conversation, they would feel a small ruckus growing around them as several cadets and enlisted soldiers scurried towards the window. "It's Gunner!"

That was all that needed to be said. The air ship landed briefly afterwards, latch opening as a ramp descended downwards and the 95th Airborne disembarked. Wrapped in their attractive battle armor, they exuded the quintessential qualities of the Empire: Sexiness and masculine bravado

The doors of the academy halls brisked open, the cocky lieutenant was never one for quiet entrances. He strolled inwards, clad in his pristine and customized Foreign legion armor, the cape and rank insignia decorated with accolades from his most recent mission. A playful smile came to his lip as he glanced upon the more serious IDF officer, "Hey Galen, Darth Kravos says that he'd like you to pull that stick out your ass prior to deployment". He started bursting out laughing, along with the others in his company.

They were the pride and joy of every hopeful Imperial officer and soldier alike: The Imperial Foreign Legion, 95th Airborne. Decorated as one of the few units with significant combat experience. It was natural for Galen to hate Gunner, afterall Gunner was everything the IDF officer couldn't be: Brash, confident, and good-looking.
