Personality
Zoria is a unique Jedi in the sense that she enjoys fashion, and takes great pride in her appearance, so much that whenever she thinks something is slightly unflattering she runs to change it. For instance, she hates her pink eyes from her albinism, so her wears white contacts over her eyes so nobody can see them. She is also very creative, taking a particular interest in making her own clothes and colorful patterns. Zoria is an avid reader, often studying Jedi and Sith history because she finds it interesting. She is seen to be supportive and helpful, often acting as a mediator for other Jedi. More than one person has told her she's a meddler in her life. She often finds herself intervening in between unhealthy relationships, which can be emotionally draining for her. But, she cares about other people's happiness far more than her own.
Despite her kindness, intellect, and beautiful appearance, she has no issues with the necessity of blood shed. Zoria is the type to execute decisions for the greater good regardless of their personally unsavory nature. She wants to save Sith from their ways if possible, but will not hesitate to kill a Sith if they refuse to change their ways.
While seeming to fit the role of a delicate, elegant, and passive woman, this is very untrue. Zoria is a vicious fighter, able to do more than hold her own in battles. She often can talk things out with people, but if anybody were to try to hurt anyone she cared about, she would fight viciously to save that person. Watching Zoria fight under extreme circumstances can be unnerving, given how fiercely loyal she is to those she cares about.
Background
Zoria was raised for a short period of time on the planet Amana, to two loving parents. They lived on a grassy plain, without many resources. They were incredibly poor, and everything they had they had to earn. Her parents figured they could use a hand with all of these chores, so as soon as Zoria was old enough to speak and understand things, she was assigned work.
Her father(The Dominant one in the pair) and mother(The Passive one in the pair) seemed to obey roles assigned to their personalities to the letter. Her father farmed, while her mother cooked and sewed. Zoria, since she was passive, took after her mother's trade, learning to do these tasks assigned to her personality. She became very skilled at making clothes after awhile, almost as if it came naturally to the young Zoria. When she was five years old, her mother gave birth to three other Amanee children, all dominant. Unlike Zoria, they weren't albino, and had the common Amanee grey fur. When the children got a little older, they often picked on their siser for looking different. She adopted the idea that her differences were homely, and she became obsessed with her image, something that she carries with her to this day.
She saw the boys working with her father, and playing pretend with each other. Often, the boys would pretend they were the Jedi that they had heard about. Zoria's mother never told her about the Jedi, thinking such fantasies would plague the young girl's mind. Her mother also thought being a Jedi was a job that should be purely male.
But, despite her mother's sheltering, she heard about the Jedi from her brothers. She was immediately interested, and wanted to pretend to be one with them. They automatically refused, saying it was a boy game. This didn't stop her from asking, and eventually they let her join in.
A year after this, she and her family went in to the more populated area. Turns out, Jedi were visiting that day. Eleven year old Zoria was surprised to see people of species that weren't Amanee. The curious child pulled on the Jedi's robes, and started talking with them. Her parents let her, unknowing that these were Jedi at first, and thinking her childish babble was cute.
But, Zoria knew they were Jedi, somehow. She was certain of this, even if it wasn't obvious. Her brother, Nirrin, also knew this. The two blurted out the fact that the men were Jedi at the same time. That's when the two were recognized as Force sensitive.
The Jedi told the two's parents about this, saying they'd take the children to Tython and train them as Jedi. Her parents were skeptical, not approving of this since it was a man's job. But, Zoria pleaded with them, and they reluctantly said yes. The two were hauled off to Tython, and trained by eachother's side as younglings. Zoria trained by her brother as a youngling until she was 13, and Nirrin was 8. She was promoted to Padawan, quickly passing her trials. She had to leave her brother for awhile, which upset the two of them, but they both understood.
Her master's name was Tori, and she was a very strict master, very battle-oriented. Zoria learned quickly under her guidance, excelling very quickly for somebody her age. In her spare time, Tori would lend Zoria books to read about Jedi history. This, and making clothing, became her two favorite hobbies
At the age of nineteen, it became debatable whether Zoria should be promoted or not. Many people underestimated Zoria because of her femininity and passiveness. But, they let her go through trials, in which she passed with flying colors. She was promoted to Jedi Knight.
When she had become a Jedi Knight, her brother had just been promoted to Padawan. They assigned her her own brother as a Padawan, and he trained under her guidance. They grew closer during these times. Zoria noticed that her brother was very strong, very quickly. He progressed at a rapid rate, which concerned Zoria. Turns out, he was being trained by a secret Sith that whole time.
She told her brother this was wrong, and he was deeply angry with Zoria. Nirrin was deeply insecure, thinking the only reason he was strong was because of his training from the older Sith. The Dark Side seemed to be an easier solution for the boy, and the Light side seemed to give him more power. This way of thinking made him turn; He became a Sith Acolyte. Zoria was crushed, and her life goal became finding him and turning him back to the light. This was largely unsuccessful. The next time she saw her brother was on a Tatooine mission, in which she was accompanied by her master, Tori. She saw her brother there. He killed Tori, and cut out Zoria's tongue, causing her to go mute. He left her for dead, and this betrayal deeply hurt Zoria. She began to take a stronger stand against the Sith, seeing what they'd done to Nirrin.
At first, she spoke with people by mind-tricking them, which wasn't very effective, but after time and practice she learned how to talk in to other people's minds without brainwashing them. It was a good way of communicating, and Zoria was encouraged by this. She was pulled out of her depression over her brother's betrayal, and began to operate normally.She had taken a stronger stance against the Sith, seeing what they'd done to her brother, and the monster they'd turned him in to. When war times hit, she became a valiant fighter, out of anger out of what they did to her brother.When Zoria hit the age of forty, which is young for an Amanee, she was assigned a Padawan. She has yet to meet her, but is worried she won't be a worthy teacher. After all, the only student she'd ever had turned to the dark!
