Born to a family dependent upon subsistence farming on a backwater world in the Outer Rim, Zurit Kalkanone was destined to be nothing. He had no future, no way to raise himself from the muck, and perhaps even no reason to exist. At least he could share this misery with his family, which consisted of a Grandmother, two Parents, two younger sisters and three older brothers, making him an unremarkable middle child. And yet, that unremarkable nature was shared among them all, the Kalkanone family was doomed to live and die in complete anonymity. Until...salvation arrived, in the most unexpected of ways.

In their civil war the Jedi and Exiles found Zurit's world a suitable sight of battle when he was very young, the reason for his world being drawn into the war is long forgotten; strategic location, valuable resources, simply a stepping stone on the path to victory? Even Zurit does not remember the reason, nor does it matter, it was a planet doomed to live and die in anonymity. Everything from its name, to its culture, to its people...all are forgotten ashes now as the world will never recover from the flames of war which once engulfed it. Those flames engulfed everything, including the Kalkanone family, each and every member's life extinguished in similar, yet different ways; starvation, obliteration by a stray bomb or shell, or simply being gunned down by the footsoldiers of the Jedi Civil War, eventually every Kalkanone family member was killed. All but one.

Zurit is the sole survivor of his family, saved only by his hidden talent, the one thing that made him unique...that distinguished him from all the others...the thing that made him matter. He had a connection to the Force, a connection strong enough for a Jedi Exile to sense it, strong enough to warrant Zurit's "enlistment" into the ranks of the next generation of Exiles. He had been 17 when he was found, when he was truly saved, not just from death but from the simple existence of a single insignificant being in a galaxy of billions. For Zurit, he looks back on that day as the beginning of a new life, a better life, a life that actually matters. For him, the Exiles offered him something better than a home and a family, they gave him meaning and a chance at purpose...a purpose he was all too ready to make for himself.

For the next eight standard years Zurit found himself training to be truly welcomed into the ranks of the Exiles, moving from academy to academy, instructor to instructor. He learned much in those years, Form V of lightsaber combat, the ability to use the Force to augment his physical abilities, how to hide his signature in said Force, and perhaps most importantly...to take control of his own destiny...no matter the cost. However, Zurit finally entered the ranks of the Exiles too late, the Civil War had ended and he was without a chance to prove himself against the Jedi foe who he'd been taught to hate since he'd first stepped foot into this second life. Now, a year after becoming an Exile himself, Zurit seeks once more a new purpose. To unite the Exiles into a single entity perhaps, to join a warband and conquer the unknown space on the fringes of the Galaxy, or to act as a shadow and strike back at the Jedi to remind them that their time is coming. These and other options are available to Zurit, he needs only choose one, and find a way forward...to forge his own path.

Personality- Zurit is a charismatic and intelligent young man, he studies well and can influence others to aid him in such way that they think they themselves benefit. He holds his more rash and dark motives back, hiding them behind half-truths, telling others what they want to hear in order to manipulate them. He has no friends, only assets, and enemies...his quest to create a legacy too large to ignore does not allow for time for friends. It is this quest however, which truly defines Zurit better than any of his tactics, his quest to matter, to be important, to change the Galaxy and leave behind him a legacy that history can not ignore. He has suffered through meaninglessness, anonymity, and insignificance his entire life...he is now ready to change that no matter the cost. It is a life-consuming quest, one which drives him further than anything else, one which holds no equal in his eyes...yet.

Relationships- Zurit currently has no significant relationships, be they friendly, romantic, or adversarial, this will change as the story progresses.

Attributes- Zurit is strong, both in body and mind, his belief in personal power has driven him to perfect himself as best he can. His strength rallies others to his side in battle, it makes him stand out as he fights with brute force and cuts through his foes like a scythe through wheat. To compliment this Zurit is charismatic, hiding his true self in order to manipulate others to do his biding, all the while keeping them fooled into believing they are doing everything for their own benefit. This makes him a dangerous adversary, skilled in battle and politics he is a problematic foe to make. And yet, he is not unfaultable or impervious.

Zurit lacks agility, often relying upon the Force to amplify that specific attribute during battle, leaving him unable to access other abilities of his as easily as others without such a handicap. Furthermore though he knows how to use the Force he does not understand it, prophecies, or other articles of interest to wise men...seeing them as wastes of time compared to the pursuit of politics and battlefield knowledge. Furthermore, Zurit has lost much of his earlier skill in survival techniques he'd learned in the warzone his world had become, becoming accustomed to the higher living standards that Exiles enjoy. This weakness leaves him exposed should he become cut off from supply lines or civilization.
