Garrett slowly picked himself up off the ground, if he was to continue he was going to need to get himself nourished, he made his way into the Mess Hall and this time got considerably more food than the last time.

He made his way to his room after eating and began lifting and moving small objects around his room, he would open his footlocker and withdraw his lightsaber, move his book to his hands, open and close his door, all from the comfort of his bed. Garrett knew he couldn't just keep practicing like this though, he had to keep his mind focused for his main task, the rocks.

Garrett made his way back to the garden, but instead of going straight for the prize he sat in the center of the rocks, and began to meditate, he let his mind go blank, he could feel the rocks, feel the force that bound them to the planet, to the universe. Even though they were just small pebbles the force flowed through them, as it did with everything else in the universe, Garrett felt a new found respect for something as small as a pebble.

He stood up and placed himself at the edge of the rock garden, this time instead of thinking of them as a giant rock, or as a flowing sea, he felt them as they were, they were each their own individual thing, with the force flowing through them, making them each unique and special.

Garrett held his hands in front of him and began to slowly lift them while focusing, thinking of all of the pebbles and the force around them all, connecting them right back to himself, all of the pebbles slowly began to raise into the air, but they did not smash together or fall to the ground, they were supported, and Garrett did not feel a great strain, he felt as if he was at peace, connected to these rocks as if they were a part of him, able to move them as if they were an extension of his body, and as he lowered his arms so too did the rocks fall back to their original resting places.

Garrett stepped back and began to laugh with triumph, with success, the sun was beginning to fall, and he was going to follow it's suit, and rest after a successful day.

Josh managed to arrive right as Garrett lowered the last pebble. He was impressed. It took him roughly four and a half days, but the training was done. It was never about the time. It was about the quality. One could rush through ever exercise to continue. But if you wanted to be good at what you do, you needed to take the time to do it right.

"Go ahead and rest my young Padawan. You've definitely earned it. Tomorrow, we'll begin your next training session. We'll start on your watch. So arrive when you're ready. I know the physical toll this can have on one's body. Especially in the early stages of training. Sleep well, Padawan," Josh said with a smile, turning on his heels and leaving.

Garrett had forgotten the early alarm he had set for his room so the next morning he awoke at 5:00 A.M. and got quickly ready for the day, armed himself with his two lightsabers and his blaster, to mix it up, and went to the Training Room.

He made his way to the window and looked out, it was a beautiful day, the sun was high in the sky, the birds were out and chirping as they made their way between the trees, Garrett reached out and could feel the force filling each of these beings, he was beginning to like this feeling.

Josh entered the room, surprised to see Garrett already there. "Now that you have the basics of the Force down," he said as he made his way towards Garrett, "you will learn advanced Force powers. Now. When I was a Bogan, my speciality was stealth. I learned the powers Force Sight, the ability to see through walls, buildings, etc. And Force Cloak, the ability to conceal one's self by bending the light.

Both of these powers are hard to learn. But they are attainable with determination. I will teach you all the Force powers I know. Once you've become a Knight, you can seek further training in Force powers and lightsaber forms. Which power would you like to learn first my young Padawan?"

Garrett let out a sigh, both of these sounded difficult, he would rather be lifting a million large beds of pebbles than trying to conceal himself from sight or try and look right through a building, but he had to think of necessity, and his training.

"To begin with..," Garrett started reluctantly.
"I would like to learn Force Sight."
The task ahead seemed rather daunting, but he was up for a challenge.

"If you do not wish to learn these powers, its okay, Padawan. I'm here to teach you the basics of the Force, the basics of lightsaber combat, and the Jedi. I just offered these powers as to help you. You never know when you'll need them. If you do not wish to learn these powers, we'll continue with the regular Force training."

"No, No." Garrett objected.
"I wish to learn as much as I possibly can about the force, I want to be prepared for any situation, Knowledge is part of the Jedi Code, after all."
Garrett tried to clear his mind to ready himself for the coming Force training.

"We would still continue with the Force training, Padawan. If you do not wish to learn these skills right now, you can always come back. Anyways. You wanted to learn Force Sight first. Correct?"

"Okay. The task to learning this Force power is easy. However, learning it itself, will take sometime. Here. Take this," Josh said using the Force to give Garrett a black bandana. "You are to wear this. At ALL times. You will walk the Great Temple with it on. You will eat with it on. You will shower with it on. You will sleep with it on. Like I said, learning this will be difficult.

And it WILL take sometime my young Padawan. You will have to first adjust to being blinded at all times. Then you will have to let the Force guide you. Being your eyes for you. You will know once you've learned this power. I will be watching you very closely. But you will not know or feel that I'm there. You will just know. Now. You training begins now. Please tie the bandana around your head. Good luck, my Padawan."

[OOC: Once again. Just RP the days of you going through the training. I know this is becoming a tiresome and probably boring training thread. However, it will look good for your character when you looked over for becoming a Knight.]

Garrett gulped nervously before cracking his neck, then placed the blackout bandana around his eyes, tying it in the back, it was as though his eyes had been removed.
"Oh, lord..." Garrett said.
He could feel his master's presence, but not much else of the room, he took a series of steps and smashed right into the wall.
"OW!" he hollered, it felt like his nose was bleeding, good thing the bandana would soak it up!

He made his way out of the room after 15 minutes and knew that his room was to the right, so he took a right, but overshooting it he slammed himself into another wall, and began to slowly, and carefully make his way back to his room.

[OOC: Oh, It's fine, It gives me time to really hone down on my RP skills too, because I stopped RP'ing about two years ago, but before that I did for about 3-4 years straight, helps me get back into it. I'll finish this up in a post after I eat.]

As Josh watched Garrett begin his training, he could only smile when the Padawan smashed into the durastell walls. He too had the same fate as he started the training ten years ago. It was rough doing everything blind. But once he adjusted to the darkness, the Force gave him the ability to see through the bandana. He'll also never forget when he gazed upon the slave in the room next to him. Of course he didn't peak at her while she undressed. He might of been an evil scum. But he had respect for the women. But not all men are like that. God knows what some of them do with this power.

As Garrett walked into his room he made his way into his bed, as he lay down he tried to reach out with the force and feel life around him.
He could feel the cute Jedi Padawan girl next door, he could feel the walls around him, the force flowing through the metal, he could feel the Mess Hall filled with many bodies, all divulging themselves in food.

He wasn't sure if he was going to visually see anything, or just feel things, but right now he could definitely feel the force in everything around him.
Garrett fell asleep paying attention to the constant moving force in the life around him, able to feel people walking across a room or moving their arm was truly.. odd.

He woke up the next morning and found he had a much easier time making his way to the training room, it was as if he was walking naturally, although he was still incapable of sight.

"I see you've made it through day one, in one piece," Josh said with a smile. "Its very, different. Being blind. Not being able to see the beauty this Galaxy has to offer. But thankfully, we have the Force. Those who are born blind, and are Force sensitive, are taught Force Sight first. Some just let the Force guide them without seeing at all.

You're doing good, Padawan. Keep it up. I know its hard. If the training wasn't hard, then we wouldn't be disciplined individuals. Now. Continue your training. I will be meeting with the Jedi Council to discuss our mission details. Remember, I'll be watching you, Padawan,"
he said as he made his way out of the training room.

Garrett could have sworn for just a split second he saw his master leave the room, but he was assuming the training was working.
He made his way out of the room and into the Mess Hall, he was quite hungry and after getting the usual meal he decided to make his way to a table to eat for a change, it was odd, he was easily able to maneuver rooms, that was the force part, now he was just hoping for the sight part.

Garrett got up and left the room, as he headed back to his room, the most familiar part of the Temple for him he tried to envision the room, he could feel the individual parts of the room with the force, feel the walls, the floor, the bed, the cabinet, the floor. Now he just wanted to string these all together like a painting in his head, he got a quick flash of the room in his head, which set him aback, but he quickly tried again, and tried to sustain it.

He could see the entire room, he could see his bed and his cabinet that his small pile of books was resting on, the footlocker that was now empty, but as he tried to look out the door he was unable to see, he needed to practice.

As Josh was talking with the Jedi Council about his mission with Garrett, he could feel Garrett improving upon his training. This led a smile to creep across his face while talking with the Council. His Padawan was improving day by day with his Force training. A very gifted person within the Force maybe? Only way to find out would be to further their training.

Once the meeting with the Council was ajurden he started to make his way back to his own personal quarters. While doing so, he used Force Sight himself. He was able to see Garrett in his room. Josh was three floors above the man. As he walked to his quarters he spoke to himself, "I still got it," a grin came across his face.

Garrett shook his head and made his way out to the Garden, the sun was starting to set, but light was no longer an issue, he could feel the trees, the rocks, the plants around him, and could use that to guide him.

He made his way to the edge of the garden and let his mind wrap themselves around each individual pebble, let him feel the force outlining each and every small rock, they slowly began to appear in his mind.
Garrett could now make out the rock garden, he could see them in his mind, he let his mind reach further, sensing the force in the trees, the plants, the grass. They, too, began to appear in his mind, widening his 'vision' of the garden, after several minutes he was able to see right up to the walls of the academy.

Garrett wanted to test his abilities further and took a step, his vision began to distort slightly, but as he focused and let himself keep feeling the force around him it came back into his mind. He took another step and took a few moments to repeat this process, and kept doing as such until he made his way into his room, at which point he fell asleep.

The next morning, Josh arose before the sun did. He made his way towards the training room and sat in the middle of the room. He began to meditate. He cleared his mind, focusing on the task at hand; training his Padawan. For Garrett being his first, he thought he was doing a good job in mentoring him. As he was meditating, he slowly started to rise of the floor of the Temple.

Being in a deep trance, he didn't even realize this. However, the Force kept him from hitting the ceiling of the Temple. As he meditated, he awaited the arrival of his Padawan. Today he was going to spruce the training up a bit.

Garrett woke up that morning and decided to just adorn his clothes, no robe, and no utility belt with lightsabers or blaster, he wanted to go light today.

He made his way into the training room and stood to admire his master's feat for a moment, he wasn't sure if he should speak or not, but after a few moments he decided he should make his presence known.
"Master, you are-"
Garrett stopped himself short, he could see!
He could see his master floating, he could see him in the air, and he wasn't even focusing, he had forgotten all about the bandana around his eyes, because it was as if it was not there.

Josh could feel Garrett enter the room. Let alone wake up. Upon hearing his voice, he let his body fall through the air, using the Force to stop him before smacking against the floor, easing him down slightly the last couple of inches.

"So," he started. "You can see through the bandana," he said, throwing a right cross at Garrett's face without warning.
