"I am sure I see an empty room, but I feel like something more is there. I don't want to be mistaken, but I feel like you are cloaking something in the room from me."

'The room is indeed empty, Padawan. You've just learned the basics of Force Sight. If you were to master this power, you'd be able to see through walls, buildings, etc. up to miles away. However, I'm not a master of this power. But the basics of it suffice for whatever you'll need it for.

Now. Learning Force Cloak will be harder. And I'm not joking. Force Cloak takes up so much energy, another Force user would be able to detect you easily. Also, while you use Force Cloak, you will not be able to use any other Force power as this takes up so much energy and concentration. This skill is best used to sneak in and out of buildings, sneaking past droids, and non Force users.

If I recall, I passed out three times while trying to learn this skill. As I said, its not easy. Learning this skill will take longer than it took you to learn Force Sight. To practice this skill, you will be placed in a small interrogating room, with a camera, and a TV with the live feed from the camera, in the room. It is important that you know, you're not making yourself invisible. You are bending the light around you. Not completely disappearing.

Now exit the training room, take a right, take the turbolift up to the fourth floor, and it will be the first room to your left off the turbolift. Good luck Padawan. You will need it. And don't worry. The camera feed in the room is always monitored. So if something happens, you'll receive attention right away. And I'll be keeping a real, close eye on you. Once again, good luck,'
he said, finally finishing explaining himself.

Garrett nodded and slowly began to make his way out of the room, as he reached the doorway he turned back and looked at his master.
"Master.. is there any way to read minds using the force?"

'There is Padawan. However, I do not know how to do so. Therefore, I wouldn't be the best teacher for such a skill. Besides, you don't need it this point in time anyways. Now go. You have a long week ahead of you. Remember, you connection with the Force is vital for this training exercise. You have to be able to connect to the Force, and keep a strong connection. It will be tough. But I believe in you, Padawan. Now good luck. And God speed.'

"Okay, it just seemed like it would be effective in battle," Garrett said and made his way to the turbolift.
The number 4 got pushed and Garrett was on the fourth floor, took a left and saw the room.
He let out a deep sigh and entered the room, it was completely barren and only had a small bed in the corner.
Garrett cracked his neck and sat down in the middle of the room, he began to meditate to focus his thoughts and feelings, then clear his mind.

He thought of the task at hand, he had to bend the light around him, nobody would see him, they would only see what was behind him.
'Great..' Garrett thought, 'I'm going to look like an idiot.'
He thought of the space behind him, the blank wall, the paneling, the light coming in from the small window.

He attempted to make a small cushion of force around him, he hoped it would bend the light around his form and only have it illuminate the wall behind him, Garrett focused and focused trying to think of it, straining himself more than in the garden. He could feel his muscles beginning to fatigue and his vision began to flash black, then come back to color.

Garrett's whole body began to tremble and his vision flashed back one more time before he collapsed to the ground.

The observer in the room behind the see through glass watched as Garrett collapsed to the ground. He immediately rushed into the room. He checked his pulse, everything was okay. He then radioed for a stretcher, and Garrett was moved to the medical wing cautiously. Josh was then radioed.

'I'm on my way,' he replied as he made his way to the medical wing. When he arrived, he could see Garrett asleep in one of the many beds. He sat down in the chair next to the bed Garrett was sleeping in. He then awaited for his Padawan to awake.

Garrett's eyes slowly opened, at first he could only see bright light, but shapes and color slowly came into focus, his head fell to his side and he saw his master sitting in the chair beside his bed.
"I'm... sorry..." Garrett choked out.

'Sorry? For what? Do not be ashamed Padawan. This skill is not easy to learn as I've said countless times before. It will take you sometime to complete. So I say, patience. Don't try to rush this. You will only pay for it if you do. Also, if you don't want to continue with learning this skill, its understandable. You can come back at a later time and we'll resume.

Oh. This almost slipped my mind. Telepathy. This lets us communicate via the Force when there are no other means of communicating. All you have to do is think of the person you want to talk to, and use the Force to talk to them. Its very easy. Its one of the first skills we teach the Younglings. Now. I want you to test this by telling me your answer to whether or not you want to continue learning Force Cloak. If you do want to continue it, you know where to go. If you don't, get some sleep, and will continue training on a different subject tomorrow. Rest Padawan,'
Josh said as he got up and left the medical wing.

As he walked away from Garrett, he once again reminded him of himself. He fell unconscious three times while trying to learn this power. But he was determined to learn it. As a Bogan, that power could be used well. As a Jedi, it's really not needed. However, he wasn't going to deter his Padawan away from it. As he walked, he awaited Garrett's answer.

Garrett nodded slowly and in his mind thought the words.
'I will never give up learning anything, no matter what it is.'
He let his head fall against his pillow and he closed his eyes.

His Padawan had confidence. Which wasn't a bad thing. As long as it didn't turn into arrogance, which could cloud his judgement. Then there would be a problem. However, he had confidence in his Padawan that he wouldn't go too far. And that he would succeed in learning the skill before him. Now all Josh had to do was wait for him to accomplish said feat.

The next morning Garrett groggily got up and drug himself out of the hospital bed, and back up to his training room.
He resumed the position he was in before and began to meditate, letting his mind focus only on the feat he was practicing.
The area behind him, letting the light pass around him, hiding his true self.

Again, the feeling started, his veins began to protrude as he struggled, his vision beginning to flash. Garrett glanced down at his arms, he wasn't able to see them.
'Yes!'
The room began to spin and once again he blacked out.

When Josh was called again to the medical wing, he already knew what it was for. When he arrived, his Padawan was unconscious. But this was a common theme for trying to learn a power that required so much energy, at an early level. He expected to be called to the medical wing two more times. Maybe three depending on how much his Padawan pushed himself.

This time he didn't wait for Garrett to regain consciousness. Instead he told one of the nurses to inform Garrett that he did show up to make sure everything was alright. That he was still breathing. He had other things to attend to. He still had a couple of kinks to workout with the Council about their upcoming mission. The mission that would determine if his Padawan would become a Knight. Or, wait for the Trials again.

Garrett slowly regained consciousness, it was dark and everyone had left so he decided to head back to the small room on the fourth floor to sleep in the bed they had prepared.

The next morning he woke up and returned once more to his meditation, he wasn't going to allow himself to pass out, he was going to stop once it got to that point. He slowly let his arms disappear and his body began to get fatigued.
'Just a little more..' he thought, as he struggled to let it spread to a small part of his chest, he could feel himself starting to slip out of consciousness and slowly pulled out his state, and sat on the edge of his bed, breathing heavily.

[OOC: You might want to add more to your posts. When you just cut it off like that, it makes it hard to come up with a reply. Really, you were supposed to accomplish learning this skill in one long huge post. That way stuff like this doesn't happen. Because, I don't know how to respond to that.]

[OOC: Okay, I've been distracted. Finishing it now.]

Garrett got up from the edge of the bed and sat where had before again, he let himself rejuvenate before he tried again, he was able to quickly disguise his arms and the small part of his chest, but he began to shake and strain as he tried to further bend the light around his body, he was able to slowly progress down his sternum, towards his stomach.

The room began to flash, but he was not going to let himself pass out. Garrett slowly began to rise on shaky knees as the cloak began to spread to his waist, he was able to effectively bend the light around his, but as he rose it would flicker at moments, he wasn't entirely prepared to compensate for the change.

His whole body began to tremble, when he looked at a small mirror he was unable to see himself in it. A smile spread across his face, or what he thought was a smile right before his vision blacked out, his last thought was of the uncomfortable hospital bed.

He woke up in the hospital bed, he asked for the date and two days had passed, but he felt accomplished, that was another force power (relatively) under his belt, and he felt like he was ready to continue his training.

Garrett rose from the bed and made his way into the training room that early morning.

[OOC: Yeah, Sorry, I haven't had much time to post today, I have had a very.. hectic day.. to say the least.]

[OOC: Not to be an ass, but once again you left me in a hard spot to reply. I can't have my character keep running back and forth to the medical wing. You might want to edit the post and just finally finish off the training of the skill.]

A week had passed since Garrett started learning Force Cloak. The Padawan figured he'd learned enough of it, and was ready to continue his training. Now that the Force aspect was out of the way, they were going to focus on lightsaber training. Josh awaited for his Padawan's presence to finally enter the room before he began talking.

'Tell me, Padawan. What do you know of the seven lightsaber forms? And more importantly, what do you now of form I, Shii-Cho?'

As he asked his question, he already knew the answer. He would have minimal knowledge on either, because he wasn't raised in the Jedi Order. However, it didn't hurt to ask the man anyways.

Garrett smiled as his master entered the room and thought on the question.
"What I have read about the seven forms is that.. basically they each encompass a different aspect and form of combat, and the first form is the most basic of them all. From what I was reading I really was interested in Ataru."

He was excited at the thought of finally training with his lightsabers.

'You may be interested in Ataru, but I will not be teaching you it. At least, not now. The very first form that everyone learns, is Shii-Cho. This form is incorporated into all the other forms. Now. Give me your lightsabers. We will be using training sabres for now. Then once I've felt you've got a grip around Shii-Cho, you'll craft your own.'

Josh stood waiting for Garrett to release the two lightsabers he's been caring this whole time. For now, they'd be using training sabres. And the two sabres he's had would be destroyed. That way, Garrett would have no connection to his past. He thought it wasn't a good idea for Garrett to be using a lightsaber that was crafted by a Bogan.

One needed to construct its one lightsaber. To establish that bond. A lightsaber was more than a tool, or a weapon to a Jedi. It was apart of them. They used the Force to construct it. Which is why the bond was so crucial.
