The instant Kade's blade disappeared and the hilt lowered, Cappi explosively leapt into the air at Kade's face; avoiding Kade's next attack and that of his remote, both. Cappi slashed down his yellow saber at the left side of Kade's neck, Cappi's saber leading his body.

Cappi's remote was still behind Kade, zigzagging. And it then fired a bolt at Kade's back.

As soon as Cappi leapt up Kade had a fair idea of what he was about to do as he leapt and immediately rolled to the right with surprising agility. The remote's bolt rather than going for the back shot him in the back of the head making Kade let out a yelp as he stumbled out of the roll. Pain searing through his skull from the headache, they were training bolts but god damn they stung like a rumour of Bothan Nether Rot hitting one's career as a ladies man.

His grip tightened on the weapon as he felt the pain began to turn to anger inside the Kushari as his Damarian side kicked in, any discipline he had was out the window. He turned with a searing focus locking onto Cappi and rushed at the Human, dropping into the Contention form he would start attacking Cappi rapidly with rapid, fast paced strikes. Aiming to get him on the defensive and use Kade's own monumental strength and sheer size to counter for his incredible inexperience in Lightsaber combat in comparison to Cappi's more experienced skills.

Kade's remote zipped about and shot a bolt for Cappi's knee. Getting low to the ground and making that traditional HISS sound as it moved.

Cappi's blade missed. He rolled out of his landing and quickly turned to face Kade, just in time to see why Kade had yelped. He sensed a change in Kade. Noticed the lean into aggression. Luckily their distancing gave Cappi just enough time to prepare for the next exchange. And he stepped back.

A lack of control rushed at Cappi, in Kade. A lack of specificity. A grave error to allow oneself in a duel. An opponent could then rewrite your intensions for their own benefit.

Cappi sank into a seriousness he normally tried to avoid. Ice cold glare.

Cappi started running backwards, forcing Kade to catch up before even attempting his first few strikes. It gave Cappi a moment to deflect a training bolt. Then Cappi dodged Kade's following strikes, to the right, then the left, baiting wider swipes from Kade than he likely anticipated. And when Kade's saber had slashed to Cappi's right, having missed, Cappi suddenly shot forward with the Force at Kade's right side; up at Kade's large right arm. Cappi's saber-in-right-hand held out as a guard, pointed down vertically, for the inevitable return of Kade's saber arm, exploded off of his left foot, bent-right-leg hitching a seat of his right shin into the fold of Kade's right arm, swinging his left foot to kick an insignificant dig into Kade's right kidneys for additional support, all for the simultaneous eventuality of a quick, point blank, double-tap of Force Pushes from Cappi's left hand aiming down to release inches from Kade's right ear.

There could be some damage dealt to Kade's eardrum, repairable. If contact was made. But Cappi felt threatened enough to let his actions guide him to score a jarring hit that might slow Kade into thinking, possibly causing a daze that made Kade stop.

((I have this image of Cappi riding Kade's back now like that xD))

Kade mounted and ridden by the smaller Jedi like he was a war mount rather briefly before being bludgeoned at close range with a double tap of Force push near his right ear. Kade was deafened temporarily as he was hit with both and stumbled forward, head jerking downward and causing him to fall forward and catch himself with both hands. Now on his knees, his ear rang loudly from the kinetic energy that had been exerted. "Ow! Ow! Ow! Ringing!" He'd grip his ear, the pain was apparent. But it did stop his.. well settle his lack of control and snap him back to reality harder than a bucket of ice.

Cappi rolled off to the left as Kade collapsed. Looked up from a kneel and let relief set in. Also a bit of guilt. At least it worked. His shoulders caved, releasing the tension from moments before. But then he saw both remotes still doing their dizzy thing. And Cappi's zipped over to get Kade while he was down.

Cappi took off towards Kade from behind. Sliding in to guard him, Cappi swung down once. Bolt intercepted by Kade's head. Then swung over. Bolt intercepted over Kade's back, aimed at Cappi this time. It was just like an exercise in the field, to protect the wounded.

Then Cappi reached out a left hand and struggled to rip his remote from the air. It shook, and then sucked into Cappi's grip. And his middle fingers pressed down on the primer and slid it to the off position. Kade could have a breather now.

"Hey man. You okay?" He turned down to Kade, apologetically, and placed his arm around him.

Kade nodded as he reached to catch the Remote and turn it off. Giving the two a bit of a reprieve from being shot at and zapped. He took a few breaths and rubbed his head "Yeah..it just stung like hell and.. really hit me hard. I'm good. Just got to control myself and know how to take a shot." He smiled to Cappi. "Sorry if I hurt you. Didn't mean to." He smiled lightly and then went to stand, hauling his bulk up. "Want to continue?"

"No sweat."

Cappi hesitated. Kade was talking a little louder than he realized. He was a hulk of a creature, Cappi reasoned on the one hand. Though he thought species like Kade's sometimes were even more sensitive to sound and ear pressures. But at the same time, Cappi wanted to give Kade another chance to end on a better note, with confidence in himself rather than a slip into anger. He found himself struggling with his options.

"Alright. But promise me you'll get yourself checked out after this."

Cappi crossed his saber over, once left then once right, as he back-stepped to give them a basic starting distance from each other. A concerned look on his face, he concluded that Kade had gotten that out of his system for today and wouldn't relapse.

"Let's have some fun, yeah?"

It was all he could say to address, yet also avoid the elephant in the room. He smiled. And he primed his remote, letting it fly off into its random patterns through the air. With enough time for Kade to prepare, Cappi then returned to Kade with a slightly different strategy; simply pointing, holding his saber straight out as he jogged towards Kade as though he was going to just run his saber straight into Kade. At least it'd seem that way until he reached Kade.

Kade's ear was pinned back, an occasional flick here and there from the damage of the force push had made it ring. Much like the sound of gunfire did, or artillery fire and in Kade's case heavy tank weapons going off. He was unbalanced and his movements showed, though he seemed to compensate a bit with his tail acting as a better counter to him. "Yeah. Don't worry about the ear..I'll.. get it checked after. Better to end on good note than bad."

Would he relapse? Doubt it, unless someone shot the poor kitty in the head or somewhere else equally painful with a stun bolt. Least Kade now knew that stun bolts were fairly ineffective against him now. He readied his blade, tail swaying to act as his counterbalance for the disorientation from his ears and raised the weapon up with the hilt near his head, the blade pointing on an angle downward toward Cappi. He was focusing now, watching how the Padawan moved and braced himself. Feeling the force envelope his form as the Kushari channeled it down into his body. Speeding up his reflexes and musculature through the use of the control aspect of the Force. He would wait until Cappi was in striking distance before acting on his attack and performed a wide, sweeping strike towards Cappi's midsection!

The basic concept was to force a reaction. If Kade hadn't done anything, Cappi's saber, being an invading yet neutral object, would have simply stuck straight into Kade's midsection. But this approach attempted to force Kade into becoming the aggressor, even in his defense; allowing Cappi to be the one to counter more selectively. And it had succeeded. Cappi read the half-second of Kade's preparation for the wide backhanded slash, and reacted; the advantageous and superior length of Kade's saber here working against him as Kade reacted sooner than others would have without such extended reach, likely to get Cappi before Cappi got him.

360º SPIN: Cappi twisted his fist down - thumb down/saber down, braced his grip - back of right fist into left palm, stepped right foot right - into the perimeter of Kade's swing, pirouetted in - left shoulder turning in/right back, glanced the base of his saber off of the tip of Kade's - allowing Kade's saber to continue its wide swing with minimal obstruction, continued onto left foot until facing Kade again - closer to Kade's left side, and swung single-handedly and diagonally up from right to left - a Shiim aimed for Kade's left shoulder just above the bicep.

Cappi's remote got unpredictably stuck somewhere behind Cappi and had no shot at Kade yet. But as soon as it could sneak over Cappi's shoulder or Cappi got out of the way, it would fire a surprise shot at Kade at any moment.

That stung! It was like watching Slow Motion as Cappi expertly got into his defensive circle and gracefully got him in the shoulder, all it took was a light tap of an active blade to make it sting and burn! Granted they were on the proverbial 'stun' setting the Lightsabers still burned and bruised, the smell of singed fur now becoming apparent as Kade ducked back from the two of them. His tail flicking about now "Ow. Ow! Stings!" He puffed at the human and rubbed his shoulder, ducking from the Bolt that was fired at him. He expected the hissing drone to snipe him.

His own flying drone flying up around Kade and shifting about, firing a bolt towards Cappi's midsection! Kade on the other hand, decided to start a series of strikes towards Cappi, starting from low to the ground to straight up, with a cross cut following through with wide sweeping strikes. Trying to use the strength of one arm whilst his other recovered to keep the experienced duelist moving back!

Kade's remote positioned in sight this time, dead ahead, Cappi saw the bolt coming and crossed an intercepting slash with a sheepish backwards shuffle.

"Aw c'mon. You know you love it, tough-guy," Cappi playfully bantered, boisterous grin agape.

Cappi's left foot stepped back, shifting sideways to barely avoid Kade's first vertically rising slash; Cappi's own saber now vertical - pointing up - in right hand between the two combatants' waists. Then Cappi, using Kade's superior size against him, ducked down low and stepped under Kade's next crossing slash and stepped through a deep outwardly-pivoting lunge with his turned-out left foot, so deep the top of Cappi's right knee would tap the floor, as he turned his saber horizontal, pointing right, and attempted to slash through Kade's closest shin. And Cappi would struggle to continue stepping through the ducking lunge out into another 360º spin, using his left hand on the floor to help push off and rise back up to a stand.

He frowned as Cappi started to get into his defensive circle again, this was getting really irritating on how the Jedi kept avoiding and getting inside of it. As he ducked down Kade would use his impressive size and form to hop the offending strike as Cappi made it and brought his blade downwards as Cappi turned out of the pivoting lunge, aiming to strike his closest shoulder that would be coming in with the turn to face him!

Witnessing Kade's feet leave the ground and Cappi's blade miss Kade's leg in an instant out the corner of his eye, Cappi interrupted his 360º and cut it at 180º and tucked his right shoulder and rolled over it and away from Kade. Kade's previous "cross cut", being the second strike of a series of strikes that Cappi had ducked under, had gone in the opposite direction of Cappi just before Kade jumped, which therefore proved Cappi too quick for Kade's now downward strike. Should Kade's full force have been applied, the strike would scorch the floor; having missed Cappi.

Cappi's remote saw an opening with Cappi under its line of sight again, still zigzagging behind Cappi, and this time shot at Kade's sternum.

Lifting out of the roll, Cappi would then return to face Kade as he stood up onto his feet; prioritizing the motion of his saber in the direction of Kade defensively.

Kade had applied a good portion of force to the strike and the blade connected the floor, the bolt that fired from the remote scored a hit in the shoulder causing the Kushari to grunt. Pain tolerance was a thing but these bolts stung like a giant space hornet. He backed up a bit, his own Remote zig-zagging up and down before turning on a dime and firing at Cappi's midsection. Kade however began to twirl the blade around him, picking up speed as he began to create a proverbial blade barrier of what appeared to be almost a solid wall of energy. His speed through using the force was incredible, Cappi couldn't rely on being the one to go defensive all the time. His motions were quick and surprisingly fast, the actual hilt of the weapon a blur to make it difficult to track, all the while Kade grinned. "Come on! Can't always be on the defensive end!"

One might call him lucky. Skillful, maybe? For Cappi to arise out of his roll in perfect position to block the incoming bolt, it was almost too good to be true. Actually it was too good to be true. He'd been too focused on the possibility that Kade would have chased after him, having raised his saber up defensively. But hadn't been in touch with the remote's movements just then. And though his saber was right there, right over his midsection, he was startled enough to spasm a sudden extension of his saber towards where he thought the bolt had come from ... and missed.

"AH! Ha, ha! Hee. Ho. Oh. Ow. That does sting. Ow..."

He keeled over, hand onto knee, embarrassingly laughing off the pain; feeling residual stinging every time his stomach repeatedly tensed. Rubbing his abdomen and squinting a strained smile, he then realized Kade was going full saiyan over here. Cappi's face twisted, confused, eventually mutating into a mirroring hollow smile reflecting Kade's; at a loss as to how he should react. It was interesting to hear how Kade interpreted their duel thus far. Had he forgotten the Cappi initiated the duel, and reinitiated the duel five times as the aggressor? Sure one of those times was a bait and switch, but he'd more than proven that he wasn't the type to shy from running head-long into the fight. Yet Kade's declaration somehow made Cappi feel good about himself. Didn't know why exactly. Just felt accomplished some way.

Cappi erected tall, confident. Saber in right hand. A devilish flicker in his eye his only reply. Breathed a deep breath. Released the tension of the sting in his abdomen. And started walking forward. Amassing a gravitational swell in his left hand, the Force thickened by his command. He picked up speed. Watched Kade's flourishes. Slowed time. Sensed Kade's movements beyond the naked eye. Found no pattern, but waited for the precise time when the majority of Kade's flourishes orbited in front of Kade's body, his face. And then, Cappi released a broad Push of the Force that would force Kade's own saber to bow back onto himself and slash at his own face or neck area. Kade's musculature, his strength, was too focused on back and forth motions to resist; a saber barrier that required a bent arm to defend his left side and right almost simultaneously, not to mention just about every other area of coverage. Then Cappi would cross down left a slash at Kade's midsection, here possibly acting as a Shiim through Kade's bent in forearms or wrists if the Force Push accomplished its intent.

Kade had sped himself up to keep with the energetic wall of almost literal energy at this point, this also meant that he was perceiving everything as if it was happening in slow motion, he'd been watching Cappi intently, watching his movements, motions and subtleties that went on. Cappi had skill, lots of it and when he got shot Kade couldn't help but grin "Hurts don't it! Like being stung by a giant space bee." He'd grin as he kept the Blade barrier going. The beauty of this barrier was the perpetual motion it had going for it, the large weapon allowed for a stronger grip and tighter control and considerably more leverage than a regular lightsaber had. As well as allowing the Kushari to apply more Finesse to the weapon than what most other individuals could achieve.

Cappi's sensing for the right moment of when the blade was orbiting the front of his body came true, Kade however had sensed the build up of force energy around him and noted the hand movement. He had a feeling about this was going to end badly or at the very least they were about to see Kushari Ping Pong and he was the ball! He still smiled, clearly he was enjoying this for the sake of it being damn fun with Cappi to spar! Allot of his own flaws had been exposed and it was something to fix. The force push came and with all that perpetual motion going on, it pushed the Blade backwards and towards Kade's face and neck. However Kade feeling the sudden change in motion from the beginning performed a full 360 degree pirouette bringing the Blade around with a significant amount of momentum behind it, coming up from below Kade's right, Cappi's left it would upswing and into the path of his striking lightsaber. The goal? There was none! However the amount of speed and energy in on this would surely knock sabers flying! That or send Kade taking off like a Single Prop Plane.

[ sorry for the wait. got really sick. sniff. ]

Cappi smiled too, also very much enjoying his time with Kade. Though normally he'd be less inclined to proudly wear that feeling on his sleeve as Kade might, he was being forced to forget his embarrassment of dedication; currently only able to react as quickly as his instincts permitted. Very much a compliment to Kade's quick learning curve and full out effort.

And with the observation of Kade's brilliant reaction, the aforementioned turn into a 360º pirouette, Cappi was able to make one slight adjustment to his follow-up attack that Kade wouldn't have seen when his back was turned in that instant. One of Cappi's forward strides, mid-run, strode diagonally to his right. This meant that Cappi's crossing slash would instead cross down into Kade's side rather than his front. Thus Kade's blindly rising saber would miss Cappi's. As Cappi would now be more behind Kade due to the direction in which he had spun. And Cappi's saber would have instead targeted a more exposed area in Kade's side.

It wasn't something he realized at that imminent moment of Cappi adjusting ever so slightly with the Kushari relying on momentum and blindness to strike at Cappi, when he rounded to look around when the expected snap-crackle of lightsaber didn't happen he suddenly felt the sting and burn that travelled down his side and made the Kushari jump about batting at his side to put it out! It felt like his fur had caught fire when Cappi had sliced at him and landed a damn good blow on him! "Oh god I'm on fire!" he danced about, hilarious to watch such a lumbering furball trying to put out an imaginary fire.

He stopped after realizing that it wasn't on fire and went bright red, well would of if you could see beneath the fur as sheer embarrassment kicked in right there. He stared at cappi and pointed at him "All your fault!" He puffed, trying so hard to hide that embarrassed smile that people get. His ears were back and curled slightly with his tail resting with a light curve and twitch to the tip.

Cappi heard the yellow beam sear a connecting BUZZ, music to his ears, just before he stumbled out of his surge; arms circling his pivoting halt until facing Kade again. Cappi hunched over, heel-palms to his knees. Then he achingly stood up, backs of his hands pinning to his hips. And he winced a victorious grin. Catching his breath, feeling sweat run down his temples and spine, he wheezed a muted chuckle at Kade's expense; watching the beast of a man hop around, drumming his flank. Cappi most notably caught Kade's embarrassment in his back-pressed ears, his chuckle bubbling into brimming laughter.

"I'm sorry," he remorsefully laughed. "I just didn't realize you were so funny," he teased, loosing himself completely by the end of it.

Cappi keeled over again, bending both to the beginnings of fatigue and felicity; cringing to the lingering tinge of pain from that last energy bolt to his gut every time his stomach tensed with laughter. But not before another bolt suddenly snapped into his hip.

"AH! ... Geh..." he whined, curling his apish arms in pain over his contorting recoil as if someone had slapped his sunburnt skin.

"Turn em off-Turn em aw-haw-hawff," he begged, comically shabby.

And so Cappi reached out and withdrew his own rebelliously elusive remote from the air into left palm and quickly switched it off, hoping Kade would do the same to allow them a moment's reprieve.

Kade caught the ball and turned it off, the remote putting up a struggle to get away from the giant furball of a Jedi and was quickly silenced from its hissing and beeping. "That was hilarious and embarrassing. This shall never leave this room." He puffed at Cappi.
