I moved back to where I was. In short I moved right set the drink and shot glasses your way and then moved left again. Just making sure I still have space to move.

So I figured the fact that the lightsaber isn't flying in a specific angle, but simply towards Barr, would allow him to (by chance and timing) hit the hilt with the wristblade. If you @Jinan B find this too farfetched I might be inclined to change it, but unfortunately I'd have to request at least 24 hours to do so (on account of limited time a day to post).

@Andrewza I don't think he'd be able to stay standing after a focused and intentional push from my character hits him head on, unless he's got some kind of reasoning behind it. I don't see how he can just let it blow past him like a strong wind. I don't see how he's not being blown back into a crowd, or a table or two.

he moved with the push as in he was pushed back, he simply landed on his feet.

I'm still not seeing how he's able to do that, to such an extent that it has no effect on him. Without some type of assistance, there's no way I can see him simply tanking the attack with no adverse effects on him.

He is using he live time of training mitigate the worst part of a push. Falling over he let the push, push him back through the air before he landed again on his feet. Weather or not the push would do any other damage is meh. Mostly likely it is like being shoved hard and worst a soiled kick that will leave bruising

I had an Echani myself before he got killed. I wasn't able to will away a Force push, and that was a Force Sensitive Echani. I've also studied martial arts for a little under a decade, and stunts like that don't happen outside of Hollywood. If you're in the air, you're not in control. I don't believe that's a passable excuse to take no damage, after just letting a powerful Fore Push, as stated in my post, was a powerful one at that, and take no damage.

Parkour teaches how one can land to end up on there feet and in the military infantry and even protection force train to jump from a truck doing 30kph and making sure you don't fall on your face.

I took parkour for 2 years before an accident took my ability to perform parkour away from me (at least temporarily) and I can assure you, in parkour you don't just 'land' on your feet to soften the blow of an impact. You tuck into a roll- landing purely on your feet can damage your knees, ankles and a whole plethora of other issues. Training might get you so far, but age will always cause a deterioration in one's ability to withstand physical damage. Considering age and training factors, worse that could happen is that he lands with some sort of leg/back injury- at the very least, he would have somehow managed to get into a roll, mitigating damage and would be unbalanced (i.e liable to fall/slip/tumble at the slightest provocation) in the attempt to stand up quickly to meet whatever attack Gian might send.
