"Well, I'll come with you anyway, I want to check the progress of the refit. My ships MAKO class two engines are being upgraded to a class three."
Dante said, pulling his pilot's goggles over his eyes and activating the microcomputers inside them.

OoC: Sorry for not being on. Busy few days...

BiC: A bit confused, she just nodded. What did he want to speak with her about that no one else could here? Was she in trouble? Or maybe she'd done something good? Where were they going? She was curious, and actually slightly excited. She saw this as a sign of acceptance here. She followed closely, feet padding softly against the hard ground, hands still shoved in her pockets comfortably.

"What do you need Ruukil?" she asked, smiling like she always did "Is something up?"

"Yes, I wanted to talk." He began walking down a side corridor. The walls were spread wide and lit to a bare minimum. Some lights flickered slightly, wile others were dim or out. He liked walking down this hall in particular. One of the lights flickered and once wile watching it for a moment he noted it actually said something in 'Kinetic'. 'Kinetic was his peoples term for their own sign language."Just to get to know you better. I hear you like explosives but that shouldn't be all I know about you. Tell me about yourself, what do you like to spend your free time doing?" There was a good bt of extra air in his talking. Almost like he was whispering but it wasn't. Like a friend talked when they would make a joke.

Ayha followed him into the side hallway, with the flickering lights. It was kind of creepy, to be led into a hallway like that by someone you barely knew, but it wasn't so bad. When they stopprd, she blinked at Ruukil, and then seemed to understand."Tell you about myself? What I like to do?" she asked, as if to clarify but after a short pause she continued "Um... Well, I love explosions like you said. They're exciting. My favorite things do to are probably make people smile, I like people, and um... watch holos? I'm just waiting for my friends to pop up somewhere in the news. Let's see. What else. I was born and raised on Zeltros. That's kind of important I guess." It was obviously difficult for her to find anything to say. She was always here on the base now, so she was either socializing with the others, or watching movies and news in her quarters. "Is that good enough?" Ayha asked with a grin and a tilted head, watching him with yellow eyes. She wasn't sure it really told Ruukil anything about her.

"Thats fine but this wasn't a test. I've seen you around and its nice to talk to someone sometimes."He smiled for her sake. Knowing things about those who worked with you is always good. Friends are made off of the field and come in handy when your in a stitch. " Im Ruukil Ukachasi I grew up on Lorrd. I like explosions too but not as much as other things." He wanted her to feel comfortable talking to him. The hall was beggining to end and an intercepting hall way cut it off going left and right. Ruukil swung aroumd the corner in a rehearsed manner. He'd gone down this hallway often and liked to swing around the corners an suprise whoever was on th other side. Be it an officer or soldier it was always fun. This tiem though there was no one on that side so he just kept walking. This hallway was better lit and had some art on the walls. If it could be called art at all, it was mostly depictions of bettlescenes from an above view. Not all that artistic, just interesting.

"You want to blow up a freighter? We have one due to be scrapped. It was bugged and it would be easier to scrap it than for it to be cleaned out." They neared a large hatch and Ruukil went to open it, but the hatch opened automatically and he pulled his hand back. "Ladies first." Throguht he door was a large scrap yard full of parts and a freighter sitting in a cleared area. There was a wire moving from the freighter to behind a well made barrier. A small white haired man was lounging in a pilots seat, he'd taken the chair from the freighter.

Ayha followed and listened. "Why thank you, sir. You're so polite." she smirked, entering the room "And a freighter to explode sounds lovely." The Wroonian chuckled, playing along with the whole ladies first, politeness thing. It was a game to her.

Ayha looked around the room, then back to Ruukil. She could tell he wanted her to relax, and since this was not some random test, she did happily. He seemed nice enough, though maybe a little saddened by his new mechanical arm. She could fix that she was sure. Making people feel better was sort of her thing, along with demolitions and fist fights of course.

"JON!"The man lounging int he cair stirred and looked at Ruukil obviously not expecting him. He got up and seeing someone else with him grinned and scurried away."He's usually not so shy but he might be back later. He usually sits around and blows stuff up but he's antisocial. Come on the buttons over here," He closed the door manually behind him and walked over to the barrier. He looked at the shining red button. It was primed and ready. "Hit this button and you may see an explosion of the likes rarely seen..."

Ayha's smile widened as she crept behind the barrier and took the button from Ruukil. "Sweet. Alright. 1. 2." she paused then pressed the button as she counted "3!" The freighter blew up beautifully. A lovely explosion, full of destruction... and colors. Colors from all the different materials catching fire or exploding, though only a flash. It was quite magnificant if you didn't blink, but with the noise that was difficult. Ayha's yellow eyes however were fixed upon the scene as the bang which sprung the freighter into oblivion.

Ruukil laughed heartily at the explosion. He sat himself down in the chair and felt how comfortable it was, "Good job, you might want to inspect your work. I'm glad that could be recorded."Ruukil glanced up at the camera above them that had captured the entire scene. It wasn't really used to inspect anymore but rather for some to enjoy a good old explosion. There were small fragments of the ship that had made it over to their position. The hull fragments gleamed, they were hot pieces of metal and even though pretty to look at were not safe to touch. Some would make a game of kicking them and eventually one would find themselves burned.

She studied the seen. Bits of hot metal lay scattered about. They would soon cool and crack. Ayha nodded, and smiled as Ruukil laughed. She was glad he was enjoying himself as well. "So wait, this was a test?" she asked, at the words inspect and record, tilting her head and looking a bit confused at Ruukil. Didn't he say this wasn't a test? Though he knew it was just to record an explosion, she did not.

"Nope, not a test.I wouldn't test you like that, but Midnight might. So no it wasn't a test, but good fun."He kept smiling and sat back in the chair and closed his eyes. There was no wind here. Any gusts usually die before getting all of the way through the maze of junk. He wished for it though, he was getting a bit hot. The sun was beggining its decent but it was still early in the afternoon. "You really should go see what it looks like upclose that ship was a real probolem, even to get it here."

Ayha smiled over at him, and relaxed. "Alright, if you say so," she grinned and began to advance toward the fragments of ship. She picked her way gracefully through the maze, her baggy pants only getting caught once. But that was fixed with a tug. Soon she was there, where the ship used to be.

Ruukil opened his eyes and just watched. He didn't have much to do but he liked Ayha, she was a nice girl. He finally sighed and stood up and walked following Ayha. His cloak was wrapped up on his sholders, on the edge of his vision it rippled with the sunlight. It was getting a bit distracting to him so he let it down, pulling a small metal clip out of it to let it fall. His new arm was freezing up on him and he eventually took out a small rounded screwdriver and reched into the robotic arm. Tinkering with it for a moment it fell limply. "Better," He rotated his arm to make sure it was now in working order."So Ayha, you want to go do anything else. Theres another ship to scrap or we can get out of the heat and back inside the base." He motioned behind him back at the entrance hatch with his thumb.

"You okay?" she turned around, watching him fiddle with his arm. She didn't see anything at the ship. Ayha was a demolitionist, not a mechanic. She wrecked things, so maybe her attention to detail wasn't so great, but she saw nothing wrong with the room where the junk and now ship fragments lay, except that it was chilly and it was messy...

"Yes I'm fine. I wanted you to know though that that ship was destroyed using a single thermal detonator. A well placed grenade can destroy a ship of this size is usually unbelievable, but the good man who scurried away earlier is genius."He pointed with his left arm at the wreck. He was pointing directly at a small completely glass place near where the back of the ship used to be. "The grenade was placed near- but not in- the main power and fuel tank. It was perfectly in between that. I dont know the details but somehow it makes a bigger and better explosion."

Ayha nodded her understanding. "It sure does, and thanks for the lesson," she grinned, "I'll remember that." This was fun. But she still had a few questions for Ruukil, and decided to ask, since this was to get to know each other better. And he had already interrogated her."So Ruukil." she smiled, stooping down to pick up his cloak from a pile of metal "Mind if I ask you a few questions now?"

"Sure I invite the questions. what do you wantto know?" He sat on a folding chair that was miraculously untouched by the explosion. He looked up at her and waited for her questions with a wide grin.

"Well first of all," she began, once again stuffing her gloved blue hands in her pockets, "Did you talk to the Midnight Man about me? Because I never told you about how I liked explosions, but I told him. You could just be a good guesser of course, no accusations. Just curious..."
