In recent months B.H.G.'s activity has plummeted into a state where there is hardly a single active Bounty Hunter. The hunters I have taken the time to look up are still here but take no active role. If you are one of these hunters then please by all means post their name and I will add them to the roster when I post it and update it. Things to expect would be a reformed code. Too long has the Guild's codes been sitting on a line which leaned over to a state of being "good". Bounty Hunters are usually regarded as ruthless and almost being as crooked as the individuals they brought in to collect on. Ranks will also be opened up to a much wider variety considering how empty the ranks will be.

I will also be taking in suggestions from those interested in joining (or simply interested in keeping this faction alive and strong). This faction has fallen to what I believe a lack of interest and communication. Don't be afraid to voice your opinions on anything that comes up. One thing I am considering is providing hunters with equipment when they sign up and complete training. We may have a research development department but I do not see how much of that has proved its worth. It also gives something of an edge to the less seasoned members when they receive their new equipment. Although it hunter's choice if really wants to use the said equipment.

Another thing to look at is the number of planets that B.H.G. is set up on. Our numbers are considerably smaller and npc forces would also be lower considering activity in a manner. That's my say on that. Plus with this Hutt and Republic war going on B.H.G. being spread out over two different borders is risky business. As of right now I am going to cut down our offices to three planets to keep things sensible. What those offices will be I have yet to determine.

That's all for now and I will be updating the guidelines as the week progresses.

I like it, but I dont like the equipment thing. Each bounty hunter should have their own equipment, that is part of being a bounty hunter.

Noted. I like the style in which you're thinking of. Hunters should be able to prep themselves with what they can get. This will make better competition to see who has better gear. We shall see though.

Horizon stated in the initial post, you didn't have to use the equipment given to you by the Guild. You could use what you wanted, or, take the equipment given to you based on your rank.

I think you are confused about what I meant. I don't think the Guild should offer equipment at all. Bounty hunters get paid for a reason. That would be like hiring a construction company, and then they ask you to buy all of their tools so they can build your house.

Well, if the Guild wants to offer you equipment because of your rank, I don't see why they can't. Its at the Guilds discretion.

Yes, but I don't believe the Bounty Hunter's Guild from Star Wars would give away equipment, thats the point I'm trying to make. Its more of a loose brotherhood of people doing the same job, with a list of jobs.

You do make a good point. It's settled then. Bounty Hunters will be responsible with supplying themselves for their own missions and hunts.

Did you ask Niner or TJ this even? Last I checked, they were the ones leading this faction. One or the other.

Well neither is active much. And this was hardly going anywhere. So I don't see why he couldn't try to revive it.

Because he needs the approval of one the original leaders to do so. This same scenario happened way back when several members including myself wanted to revive an old faction by the name of the Midnight Men. We were told no by the admins due to the fact that the original creator was no longer active and we could not get the ok from him personally.

Neither I or Niner condoned the revival of this faction. I myself was just going to let it be archived like all the other indie factions that went under. If you want to make a bounty hunter faction Horizon, make one from scratch. I believe I speak for both Niner and myself when I say that the BHG needs to remain the way it was and simply be archived. Taking other peoples creations, " like the material in the R&D department and the actual faction itself " I believe is against the rules anyway.

To be honest, I really do not have time for this. I have a **** load of home work and I wont be able to deal with this more so until tomorrow night. But I'm sorry that you want this to be archived. I could not let a great faction like this go to waste though.
