History: The Byss Emporer Charzak formed this league in order to spread the glory of Byss throughout the galaxy. This League is dedicated to the Byss domination of the galaxy. The League has built up it's military might and is ready to unleash itself upon the galaxy. Right now the government is allowing any one to join but they must pledge loyalty to the Emporer and to mother Byss (that is the planet byss).

Funding: The Byss Expansion League recieves funding from the government of Byss as it is operated by the government by slashing the budget of almost everything not involved in the military. The government generates money by exporting many goods and black market technology.

Locations: Byss, spies located on many Republic and Alsakan worlds.

Forces: Over 70,000 soldiers, 1 fleet, many spies, assasins, vehicles, everything you would expect from a planet wide military.

Motives: They are devoted to conquering all corrupt governments and to spread the glory of Byss to preserve peace as a whole.

Relationships to other factions: hostile to Republic. Allies to Alsakans (ooc: may betray them later)

I don't think a planet would have 3 fleets of ships. The Republic has 10 fleets, according to this: http://www.thestarwarsrp.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11647

Putting it in proportion, you'd have over 2/5 of what the Republic has as a whole, not to mention your fleets figures are larger than the Republic's (each of the Republic's fleets consists of 90 ships). Yours are all over twice that number. That's A LOT, and I'm pretty sure Byss would be a part of the Republic.

EDIT:

Byss was a planet in the Deep Core, near the center of the galaxy, discovered no earlier than 45 BBY. A local day lasted 31 standard hours, and a local year lasted 207 standard days. It was the endpoint of the Byss Run.

We're still going by most canonic information, and your Byss league would be in a huge contradiction to this statement.

I'm not mad. And your history on the profile does not explain how your military grew so large. You just said that it grew in the profile.

EDIT: Oh, and you put this in the wrong section, the way I'm seeing your league. Mercenary groups tend to not be supported by any governmental body. Especially one of the sovereign kind.

Kath, I can tell you right now, and I don't mean to sound rude, that this faction sounds completly rediculous. The military is way, WAY too huge, as is the fleets. I can also tell you now that unless this is improved drasticly, it wont be getting approved anytime soon.

Also, I'm not sure where to move this, so I'll move it to Other Factions.

While his some of his fleet numbers do seem to be big, he hasn't mentioned corvettes, frigates, or destroyers. Perhaps he just needs to go through it, revise some of the numbers and add more detail except for fighters which neither the Republic nor Alsakan have specified. Perhaps his fleet could be maybe half to a third the size of the Alsakan fleet which is about 210-240 capital ships.

Expand this. How was it formed? When? Who's in it? Who can join? Is it public?

Yeah...you're going to need to explain how the government generates money, or at least how the government can afford to feed money into this.

17 million soldiers? No way. The republic army isn't that big. The Clone army was 1.2 million troops, I think, at it's maximum. Also the population of Byss might be handy to work this out.

Er...no. Just no. Independent factions are allowed about 2 corvettes or 3 fighter squadrons at their start, unless Boli says otherwise.

Also the fact Byss is in the deep core might mean you can't do any of this, but these are the key issues right now, at least.
