((I was under the assumption you did land close by.))
Kaebis stopped on a ledge near that of the enemy sniper. He knew not to approach a man with a heapon drawn, especailly when he was skilled with it, it could result in deadly consequences.

((I'm the enemy sniper, as you are my other opponent and I mainly use a sniper rifle.))

Freyr saw the first of the shots being fired, followed by three more. He did not notice the zabrak Jedi land close by, instead leaning forward with his sniper rifle raised. It is his advantage now: he is almost 100% certain exactly where Abele will peek out with her rifle. His finger tightened on the trigger, his cross-hairs held steadily. Rate of breathing slowed as he concentrated on the single shot that could eliminate one hellishly annoying opponent.

Silently, he hoped that Cain could avoid the four shots, and a lightsaber.

Abele looked through her scope. She looked strait at her enemy, into his scope, past the cross hairs. It was one of those moments she'd heard of before from more veteran snipers. The moment when you saw into another marksman's eyes. No matter what color they were in reality, they always seemed gray. She now had seen his eyes, but she could not pull the trigger. Abele couldn't look away.

Her finger twitched and startling her she fired. Abele fell off of her perch and onto the hard metal interior of the truck. Her rifle landed nearby with a loud thud, she yelped at the sound. Why was she so shaken, maybe it was because she's never actually been so close to seeing an enemy as human. They'd always been a corpse waiting to happen.

Abele was getting shaken, and she hadn't even killed anything yet. She sat down in the interior of the truck and breathed. She'd have to change cover after that. Abele escaped out of the back of the truck and moved, there was good cover all the way but gaps in cover made her hope that she would not be seen. She'd nearly gone twenty yards then stopped. This was a good place to set up, as she dropped down and unfolded her bi-pod. she looked down her scope and back to the car.

The shot went wild, although it startled Freyr. He pulled back, expecting the sniper round to fly by where his head would be. It did not. The captain looked around the corner with slight confusion, and saw the Republic sniper making a hasty retreat. Or an attack in another direction. However one describes it.

He took a step out of his hiding place, sniper scope trained between the shoulder blades of Abele as she backed away. Before the shot could be fired, she lowered herself to the ground yet again. Ah, a tripod…

Instead of aiming at her specifically, Freyr aimed at the sniper rifle, firing two shots with a second space in between. The two shots should land in slightly different spots, their target being the sniper rifle and its tripod. Freyr backed into his hiding place, recharging his rifle. Unlike the standard rifle, his could only fire three rounds per clip.

((Its a bi-pod Lavi.))

She barely had time to cover he eyes. Two shots ricocheted off of the ground around her rifle. One leaving burns on the rifle before the lens and the other hitting the ground almost breaking the bi-pod. luckily the shot only left a warm feel to the gun and a hole in he ground.

She pulled her gun back, she controlled her breathing. This sniper was good but he obviously had an older sniper that only held three shots instead of the standard four. She needed the help of the jedi, if the jedi could help then she could get a kill the sniper and then help with the enemy jedi.
If that sniper can get drawn out then I can kill him,

Abele dropped back down and looked at where the shots came from, She waited wile he reloaded. This time she would take the shot.

Kaebis didn't move, but allowed the Gray one to land before him. He smiled and nodded in his direction, taking a stance very similair to Shi-cho and yet one tweaked again to match his own specific style, Kaebis prepared for another altercation.

Noticing his ally needed help he suddenly shot out with one hand, still looking at the enemy Jedi, his hand instead pointed into the direction of the other Sniper.

He suddenly pulled away part of his cover, not being able to lift a whole car with such a quick move and unmeditated mind, he took away half of it. Leaving the sniper with little room to move.

He grew tired all of sudden, after the sudden use of the force, generally unplanned. The enemy Jedi didn't seem suprised at all, but sort of twitched. He still wore his expressionles mask. And Kaebis wore his half-smile. Sort of a mocking smile.

Not one of happiness.

But one of Determination.

"Arrogance will get you nowhere, padawan," said Cain, noting his opposite's facecious smile. He thought for a moment how strange it was, the difference a few years could make, for Cain himself was not that much older than the Iridonian. He raised his silver blade, pointing toward the young Zabrak. He continued and finally broke his own mask, his lips cracking into a smile that looked warm, but did not quite reach his eyes, "now the warm up is over; it's time to up the ante, Zabrak."

He stepped forward, noting uncomfortably the few tweaks in what should ahve been a basic Shii-Cho stance. He doubted they were there by accident, even if he was a padawan the Zabrak was well trained and liked slight unorthadox moves in his combat. But then so did Cain. He gave a Makashi salute, dropping into a more advanced stance than before and attacked. Each movement was precise. Each was strong. Each was fast. And Cain kept his smile.

Freyr swore as half of his cover was ripped away with a loud screech. The cable holding his pistol was still tied around his wrist, which he tugged on to grab his pistol. Blaster fire erupted close to him, as he leapt to the floor behind what little cover was left. With pistol in hand, he opened fire upon the 3rd party combatants, dropping two rather quickly in the battlefield situation. He quickly abandoned his cover, firing steadily at Abele as he hastily made his way to another vehicle. The pistol was a rechargeable kind: one that overheats if fired too quickly, but it needs practically no reloading: a power cell gives the pistol its rounds.

The pistol hit its limit as he roughly settled behind his new cover. With his sniper rifle in his off-hand, he dropped his pistol and fired without aim at the nearest 3rd party combatant, the round hitting the unfortunately soldier perfectly in the chest. The poor soldier died before he hit the ground. After recharging the rifle, he decided to alter his priorities: the zabrak proved to be almost his bane.

Abele had fired at the opportunity but she couldn't tell, did she hit the enemy or did the shots go wide. He'd had to get up and leave cover and he'd been open and slow for a minute. She'd been going for his torso but he'd been going uphill so he could have been hit in the legs. She'd been far enough away to where the pistol shots didn't even hit near her. Pistols can barely reach a good distance before going wide or hitting the ground.

((You might have been hit by abele after your cover was ripped away but i respected the order and didn't go. you decide if you were hit.))

Cain's strikes were having an effect on his enemy and at once he twisted around, slamming his heel into the Iridonian's temple, hard. He crumpled, the lightsaber falling from his hands and he lay on the floor. Cain could see the rising and falling of his chest, so he was still alive, if unconscious. He then turned around looking for the sniper, still parrying the occaisional blaster bolt that strayed his way. He closed his eyes looking for her imprint. There in some cover. Cain called to his partener, "Keep that sniper's head down, don't let him get a shot away and he's mine!"

He then ran forward, leaping and jumping, changing direction just incase the enemy should get a shot away and hoping that his own sniper would not hit him.

Freyr soon became aware of pain in the square center of his chest. He sucked in air as the pain spread throughout his body. Oh, crap.

With the wound he currently has, it would be rather difficult to place a shot exactly where he wants it, but they have the advantage: two on one! Grimacing through the pain, he raised his sniper rifle to place a couple of covering fire type shots before dropping low.

Damn...this was bad, she now was disadvantaged. She had to fight two enemies. One being a jedi. She leaned back and took a high powered shot at the jedi. Reloading she fired again. These were wasting ammunition but jedi can't block everything. She had little chance of living now. Although...That would work. She took out a frag grenade and looped a string around the pin.
Tossing the grenade onto a small pile she scooted back behind a barely suitable pile of rubble. If the jedi came close enough *boom* would all he would hear. This would solve an issue but... that grenade was close and jedi can take a hit. This would have to ride on luck.

Cain carried his array of jumps, spins and acrobatics forward. THe first shot missed him by a mile as he spun through the air. As he got closer though, he became a bigger target, and he could only dip and weave that often. The second shot caught him in the left forearm and he staggered on his next landing, taking what cover he could as he looked at the wound. He would live, but it was very painful. He would only have one arm to fight with now. He leapt out of his cover and continued forward at the sniper, somersaulting through the air, landing on a piece of rubble not too far from his destination. He stopped and saw her crawling from one piece of cover to another. But he waited, hoping his aid could bring her down himself, while he pressured her.

Propping himself up against his cover, Freyr could only wait for his comrade to finish the job: the pain is preventing him from getting a proper shot now. Instead, he busied himself with getting rid of 3rd party combatants on the scene, firing away with his pistol.
