He hadn't moved, that as a good thing. From her new angle Abele could see the rifle better. It was now obviously not a shoulder but a rifle, and a very nice one at that. A sniper round punching through that might make it harder to shoot later. Her enemy had not moved so she was thankful for that.

She could however try to disable the sniper rifle her enemy had. Then she would have distance on her side and a higher powered weapon.
No, the rifle has moved already anyway. It's too late for that and if he peeks out anymore I might be able to get a shot on him. But at this distance he'll have time to react to the muzzle flash.
She kept looking over the cover. If her enemy were to run way this would make things so much harder, something she didn't need right now. She breathed slowly, preparing for the shot, one that would need to be dead-on accurate.

Freyr looked around desperately, calculating the time it would take to get to the closest covers. He decided on a little more distant one: behind a vehicle parked by a lamppost. Hopefully, if his prediction is correct, the vehicle would give him the positioning needed to properly fire upon the sniper position with accuracy. Making sure his frame stays low, the captain dashed out of his hiding place, leaping to the said cover a second later. The landing was cushioned by his light armor, minimalizing the damage to his limbs especially.

Any sniper firing upon that brief, heart-pounding sprint would have to be really good in order to place a single killing bolt to Freyr. Once that was over, Freyr prepared his sniper rifle, taking off the make-shift shoulder upon it. It would be little use in further situations, since the sniper seems clearly aware of his position, and the fact that it would be blatantly obvious that the "shoulder" is not real this time around. It is also impractical to use such a tactic.

Abele grinned, she had the upper hand. She knew where he was but her position was unknown. He had just sprinted to new cover that, although good, was under a lamp post. Lamp posts were covered with glass, and when glass fell it tended to not fall like paper. counting on her enemy being disoriented she shot the lamp post. Sparks and glass would rain down on her enemy. It was almost a scene to watch the sparks continue to come down on the car. Burns and cuts were sure to follow.

Abele decided it was the opportunity to reload, a new energy cell was snapped securely into place, four more shots ready to go. this would be a challenge.

Excellent! Exactly the sort of situation that Freyr was hoping for: one where his enemy fires upon him without himself getting into the line of fire! Along with that, he could determine the rough location of the said sniper. However, the sparks forced him to pause for a moment to keep himself from getting blinded. He pulled up his sniper rifle, aimed (spotting Abele as he does so), fired, and lowered himself behind his cover, dropping flat onto the ground.

He saw what Abele did to the truck, and he is not fond of the strength of this car he is behind. While prone on the ground, Freyr "reloaded" his sniper rifle, draining an energy bolt from one of his packs into the rechargeable magazine: a unique feature to his rifle that prevents jamming.

A muzzle flash, she quickly fell back and grasped the axle. Hanging on tight she turned on it and sat there until the shot 'tinged' off the metal plating of the truck.
She quickly changed positions. Now in a blown out openin int he truck she layed down. She could see a tiny sliver of ligth under the distant car. The crosshairs wathced the car, he couldn't move now, the distance was too great and she was ready. Come on you little bastard poke your ugly face out of cover.

What to do, what to do... Freyr sighed. He is beginning to run out of ideas, and he is beyond willing to back down now that he has gone this far. It would certainly help if his companion gave him a boost of sorts, although communication between the two seems impossible at the moment.

Sitting and waiting does not help at all: time is on Abele's side, to make things worse. His current supplies are inadequate for further risks. All there is left to do is a drawn out firefight. A risky one, since it is likely that sniper cross-hairs are waiting for him to make the first move. What else do I have...? Freyr checked his utility belt again, giving another sigh as he finished looking through them. Then an idea struck him. A crazy and stupid-looking one, but one that might work to his benefit.

Freyr had little use for cables, although they were standard issue for his belt for some reason. But something just might tick off his sniper opponent. He took his blaster pistol, tying the cable to the handle of the small firearm. With one end of the cable in one hand, he threw his pistol over the car in a sudden movement. If Abele was getting annoyed and jumpy, she would surely fire at something like that.

...A pistol, maybe I should break it. Nah, I'll let him keep that horribly inaccurate weapon. She kept her rifle steady, maybe he was testing to see if she was dead. In that case she would stay still. If his pistol got caught then he might get up and then...then he would die.

(ooc: See my profile for the seperation bit of my lightsaber. Also for the last bit think of the dark apprentice from the force unleashed. How he holds his lightsaber, but imagine it with one in either hand.)

Kaebis was suprised by the move, he had studdied vaguely into the dark side of the force and it's attributes. Although he knew how to counter it he was not quick enough and was struck across the shoulder. The lightning lingered a moment until he batted the strike aside with his lightsaber. Almost quickly after this he countered it with an immensely powerful force push hoping to give him some time to recover from the dark side's toll.

He was suprised, he knew Gray Jedi did not answer to the order, but he had not even considered that they would dabble in the ways of the dark. This shocked him and so he prepared himself so that he was ready for anything. Remembering his training that Master Xantuse had taught him he suddenly activated his lightsaber's mechanism.

Directly after the force push he activated the seperation coil in the hilt of his lightsaber. His hilt sepeared into two and they grew to the lentgh of about 40 centimetres each. Both saber's ignited and in mere seconds he now had two lightsabers.

He took the Jar-Kai stance, with his own added twist to how he held his lighstaber, behind his back pointing outward.

((Okay...))

Cain saw him draw a second lightsaber, from his first. He recognised his stance too, Jar-Kai, probably the form Cain had never looked into. He knew how to teach the basics, he had done to an apprentice, many moons ago, but he disliked using two lightsabers. His blade was more than deadly enough in his own hands. He was confident in his defense as he dropped into his stance. He could keep this up, he had been duelling for years, but his opponent was young and surely could not have encountered many enemies with lightsabers. His attacks were unorthadox, fast and strong, more than making up for Kaebis' extra weapon. He managed to kick him back a couple of meters and spoke in the pause, "Quality, not quantity, padawan."

''Save you words, Gray Jedi I have already been tought and still undergo teaching. Do not think of less of me as I do not retain the title of 'Jedi Knight'. Let us just finish this. Isn't that what we are here for?'' said Kaebis, the first time he had spoken in the fight.

Instead of engaging his opponent, he took a moment to sit down, cross his legs. And meditate. On both the battle, the forms. And the force.

He let it flow through him, strentghening his connection to it. Making him one with the force, one with his lightsabers. And one with his enemy.

He stayed there meditating.

((Delayed my post, as it did seem that we were the main focus of the fight, when we barely shot at each other. This fight's wracking my brains too! You're having such an easy time, Ruukil...))

Freyr used the split-second for a quick head-start in a relocation, one that would give him the ability to fire back quickly. With sniper rifle in hand, he began to move to aim, then stopped. Lowering the rifle, he just remembered something that he could have done earlier. The captain reached into a larger belt pouch, and extracted a peculiar-looking horn. Feeling for the holes, he blew into the mouthpiece in an unusual pattern. The sound was comparable to that of an avian creature.

Remiel heard the call, circling high above the battlefield. He cocked his head as he listened to the call. Once the sounds faded, the falcon dive-bombed back down to the site of battle, where two men fought, saber-to-saber, crying out. The falcon stopped a good distance above the fight, moving in a pattern that would be recognizable to Cain.

It is only a matter of time before Freyr got his answer.

Cain listened to his foe, "Actually, you'd be surprised the difference a title can make, padawan. Your audacity and boldness would certainly grow, as would your wisdom. And the amount of respect from your peers."

As Kaebis sat in a medative stance, Cain almost took it as an insult that he lower his defenses so obviously. The bolts and bullets from the ongoing battle still flew across the landscape, but Cain could block and dodge with the Force. Then he heard the cry of an eagle, and he knew what that meant. He span around and leapt off of the platform, fast and long, bounding quickly. He looked through the Force and saw the enemy sniper. He had had enough of this fight now and was prepared to end it. He bounded forward, using the Force to keep his body in constant motion as he approached, his lightsaber at a defensive angle. He could not physically see the sniper, but in the Force he could see hier shape, her outline and her energy up ahead. He leapt towards her, approaching quickly, only a hundred or so yards away now.

In that instant Kaebis smiled, he had known the Gray one would leap to help his ally. And in that moment he also took a leap, his one seemingly higher and lenghtier then before, where had only shown a fraction of his connection to the force. And it fueled him!

He now descended where he had a basic idea where the other sniper was. He had a decent position, higher up then Kaebis's potentail ally. He descended down upon him like death incarnate. Moreso aiming to disarm and wound him then take his life. He wouldt not kill a man who wasn't seeking to do him harm.

It wasn't the Jedi way.

As Cain raced toward the sniper, he stuck his hand out behind him as he felt the padawan move. He had expected him to come after himself, to try and get rid of him two on one, but he was more interested in his accomplice. As he raised his hand backwards, still moving, he pulled on Kaebis' body through the Force, hard. Hard enough to root a rancor to the spot, at least, or pull a bantha back over it's own heels.

(ooc: eh what the hell? It was my belief that only the secret apprentice from the upcoming stargate game could move a beings body. Not counting the fact Im nowhere near you, and that im moving through the air. So I'm ignoring that post)

Kaebis stopped on a ledge near that of the enemy sniper. He knew not to approach a man with a heapon drawn, especailly when he was skilled with it, it could result in deadly consequences.

Instead he stood on the ledge, covered by multiple destroyed large object, that looks to be city cleaner droids, huge busky things. He sat behind there and waited. Hoping his companion could handle his enemies while he thought of a plan.

((A force pull is pulling an object towards you, and object can be a person...it's not pulling the air around them, that wouldn't do much. And we're not that far away...Cain's coming back after you. In case it wasn't clear when I said he was "still moving" I did not stipulate a direction. He's moving after you.))

Cain was not far behind the Zabrak, he had changed his direction as soon as he noticed him moving. The sniper, however, was a vital threat, and would have to be dealt with soon. He threw his lightsaber at the horned being from distance, hoping to land the blade enough to delay him, as he flew through the air towards him, the blade now spinning back to his hand.

((Every single Star Wars game with Jedi in it can Force push/pull people. Some of the more specialized games can grab people with the Force, like Revenge of the Sith. Wait on Ruukil, please.))

((yea god, let me post.))

Abele had seen the enemy jedi come towards her. She turned and aimed to the back of the enemy jedi. A well placed bullet coudl kill the enemy quickly. Jedi were known to eb killed by a shot before. she wanted to be able to claim one of those shots.

Abele raised her rifle and sucked in a lungful of air. The shot seemed silent to her, slow motion. She watched as it flew throguh the air. Perfect. It would come right in the jedi's path easily a crippling blow. She fired again and again, safety shots. One was bound to hit, she slid back into cover to reload.

A fresh clip in rifle, she climbed back up to her previous position. On the axle leaning up against the box.

((I changed direction and am now jumping at Kaeb, where Lavi is.))

Cain flew through the air when he felt a nudge in the Force. Out of the corner of his eye he saw the muzzle flash, almost a mile away and he dove to the floot. He counted to two before the bullet thudded into a car above him, followed by two more. Rolling forward he sprang up, now close enough to leap at Kaebis. He did leap, but not at him, landing between him and Freyr, lightsaber up defensively.
