Cassarah had learned what the scroll and holocron had to teach her. She had been a C-Rank Katyen for about a week now and she decided that it was time to make her lightsaber.

She headed to get the supplies from the Mirehn in charge of them.

 

[Will]

The Mirehn of the stocks sat in his office, the black marble walls matching with the floor. He wore his black robe, and his wide-brimmed hat, He was writing an order for some new metals.

 

[Emma Lou]

Cassarah walked into his office and bowed her head. She was still learning all the proper manners and stuff, but bowing always worked.

"Excuse me, sir, I need the supplies to construct a lightsaber"

 

[Will]

The Mirehn looked up, seeing the newly risen Katyen. ''Ah, i wondered when you would finally come here. Take this.'' he handed her a box, filled with the necessary parts. She was that one who killed the other so quickly, giving a new record. Zamiel had not gone through the ritual, so he had not set a record for it. It would be interesting to watch her progress...

 

[Emma Lou]

Cassarah walked over to a work bench and started to build her lightsaber. At first she could not figure it out, but after about an hour she was starting to get it. She worked on it for about three more hours before she finally turned and hit the button.

She smiled evilly as the green blade illuminated the office and work area. Hauldus would be proud of her if he was here to watch her.

 

[Will]

The Mirehn of the stocks looked up. That was quicker than average. Just four hours. Normally, it took 6 hours to build a lightsabre. Although the lightsabre was rarely used, it was still a useful tool if the Katyen was discovered.

 

[Emma Lou]

She thumbed the button again and the green blade disappeared. She brought it over to the Mirehn of the Stocks, because she figured that he would want to check it. She held it out to him and bowed her head.

 

[Will]

The Mirehn of the stocks took the lightsabre, and looked it over. He personally hated it, a weapon for the philestines known as the Sith. But it was acceptable. He handed it back. ''I can put you up to B-rank, if you show me you have learned everything from the scroll and holocron.'' He offered.

 

[Emma Lou]

Cassarah nodded and hung her lightsaber on her belt. She decided to start with lightning. She picked an object, instead of the Mirehn of the Stocks. She did not think he would be pleased if she unleashed Force lightning on him and she did not want to get punished. She flung her hand out and pushed the Force into it and lightning exploded from her palm, destroying the metal pot.

"I do not understand how to do the Force push into the sword thing. Could you explain it, please?"

 

[Will]

The Mirehn nodded. ''Push the force into the blade. You should be able to feel it course through it. Once you have done that, push it out, like you do a force push.'' He replied.

 

[Emma Lou]

Cassarah nodded and unsheathed her blade. It was beautiful, in her opinion, and simple. She focused on the Force and directed it toward the blade. She did indeed feel it vibrate, it was weird. She then gathered the Force again and pushed it again. It was a weird feeling, but she liked it.

 

[Will]

''And you can do force sight, advanced jump and reduce pain?'' He asked. They were on the holocron. If she said yes, he wouldn't be surprised. She was good enough for a demonstration not to be necessary.

 

[Emma Lou]

Cassarah nodded slowly.

"Yes, sir. Would you like me to demonstrate them?"

 

[Will]

''nonono, there is no need, i watched your fight, and am aware of your competence. Now.'' He took out a datapad, Cassarah's file, and tapped some codes into it. ''From here, on, you are a B-rank Katyen. You are allowed to requisition devices to hide heat signatures. Tell me when you want one.''

 

[Emma Lou]

She nodded. She was not sure what kind of device hid heat signatures.

"What kind of device is it? Do I have it on me all the time?"

 

[Will]

''It will look like a simple black belt. It creates a form-hugging dampening field. It's very efficient. Just hit the sctivation stud on the righht hand side.'' The Mirehn replied.

 

[Emma Lou]

"May I have one, please?"

She asked politely. She had one more question for the Mirehn.

"How do I reach the next rank?"

 

[Will]

THe Mirehn handed over the belt. ''You do that by simply gaining a talley of 10 mission successes. Our methods are systematic. There are missions upon the talley board. You will find it outside the Katra's offices.'' He pointed her down the hall

 

[Emma Lou]

She bowed her head, clipped the belt around her waist, and left. She headed toward the Katra's office. She slowly went to the board and started to look through the missions. She hoped that the Katra would not come out. She had only seen him twice, but he scared her.

Zamiel stepped out the door, and handed her a black scroll, as if he were expecting her. He began to walk away, indicating for Cassarah to follow. ''B-rank Katyen Cassarah. We have received some... troublesome... news. The Mirehn of the shadows has been taken down. Normally, i would recruit from the S-Ranks, but your name comes out as a strong favourite. As such, we will travel to Corellia, and take down a mark. He is the leader of the PDF, Zugzat Morn. We need to kill him. The price has been paid. Come.'' Zamiel led her to the hanger.
