Enishi vs. Vo Qel-Droma

Vo took Enishi's actions as a sign of a temprorary cease in the fighting. He positiened his double-blade so that it was once again being held like a staff and was resting against his left side. The Knight let out a samll breath as he examined his robes. The tear and went along his side and a bit up to his shoulders, it would have been a nasty cut if it had sunk in. Moving his right arm a little to see how the tear felt just in case if it would affect his performance in the fight. The small draft that came into the cut was a bit distracting so Vo pulled of his robe and tore off a portion of the right side of his kimono exposing the white gi he wore underneath.

Turning his eyes once more to Enishi he waited until one of them made a move. What was that bastard thinking? So far Enishi had made no true offensive movement and that was alright with, Vo. If Enishi was trying to wear Vo out he would have noticed by now that most of his attacks weren't to strenuous except for the aerial attacks which to a bit more energy. This fight would sure be interesting.

ooc: I'm going to be gone for a few days. Will you wait to finish the match in a few days time?

Stretching his arm, Enishi openly brought what remained of his robe to his waist. With an exposed torso, Enishi grabbed his weapon with both hands with the front end pointed down diagnolly. Taking deep breaths, made a notion with his hand. The sign, meaning to 'come'.

OOC: Sure, enjoy your trip.

Vo flipped his sword around so he was holding it as he had when he began with the first attack. A smile spread across his face as Enishi motioned for him to make the first move. Vo would be all but too happy to oblige. The Knight charged at hid opponent dragging his sword on the ground again, once more sending sparks in the air. When Vo was about five meters from his target he launched himself in a circular patter to the right (Enishi's left). Doing this would bring Vo into a perfect area to attack Enishi and he probably wouldn't have expected it either. He leaped four meters and quickly ran the rest making sure to not get caught in a situation where Enishi could use Vo's momentum againts him again. Vo held his blade high while making sure to keep the other end close by him. He brought the blade around to his right so he would be striking at Enishi's back with a large deadly swipe.

Enishi was slightly disoriented as Vo zipped off. Before he had a chance to find Vo, Vo had found him. With only miliseconds to react, Enishi swung his blade to catch his opponent's. Unfortunatly, Enishi's weak, frail body could not contend to Vo's younger and more fit strength. Enishi was competely blown back, hitting the ground.

OOC: Enishi, now I guilty because I feel like I'm beting up an old man. :confused:

Vo took one step forward to keep up with his opponents body. He immediatly aimed a boot at the man's weapon hand to prevent any more surprises at least his foot would prevent any attacks as well if not completely pin the man's arm. Next he puled back his sword now using it more like a pike, thrusting it towards his opponents exposed throat.

Shifting his head to avoid the oncoming blade, Enishi used his free hand to make a swipe at Vo's eyes. Using his strength and as much reach as he could get, Enishi arched his fingers as if to completely blind his opponent. Since his weapon hand was temporarily pinned, Enishi attempted to move his pinned hand in sync with his swiping nails in an attempt for freedom.

Vo raised his left arm to deal with the claws while he prepared for another strike at the floored attacker. All Enishi's claws would meet would be the cold hard metal of Vo's prosthetic arm which had been forged out of temper materials once the Jedi realized to could be used to handle volatile substances and smash through alloy if he didn't have his saber on hand. He grabbed hold of his opponents wrist to stop its advanced and squeezed with enormous pressure. While attempting to break the man's wrist Vo thrusted once more towards his opponent but this time ignoring the grey matter and sending the vibroblade towards the base of his opponent's throat which had less mobility than the head.

As soon as Vo caught his hand, Enishi, In a last ditch effort, used what force he had to pull his legs from underneath Vo and kick at his ribs. If he was quick enough, he could survive with a cut across his nose. A small price to pay for putting the pain on his opponent.

OOC: How would scratch your nose when aiming at your throat?

Vo had to give Enishi one thing, he was persistant. The kick to his abdomen had indeed surprised him and knocked him back a little. With that the force of which his blade was coming down was rocked backward a little but that was only a minor hindrance. Striking down again Vo used his knee to push Enishi's leg aside. The Jedi Knight also attempted to manuever his leg so he could pin Enishi's leg down by the thigh. This would render Enishi effectivly harmless because the only other leg he could use would be in an awkward position and wouldn't be able to get any true damage. While trying to pin Enishi's thigh all fo Vo's wait would be centered on his pinned wrist. Vo once again raised his weapon and struck downward with a brutal thrust.

ooc: if your body is shoved back, the blade's attack would move up towards his face.

Enishi felt like a caged animal; awaiting euthanasia. Yet this animal still had a few tricks up his sleeve. Vo was using one limb to attack, giving Enishi some hope. All he needed was one free limb. Using his awkwardly positioned leg, Enishi kicked at Vo's elbow with the intention to direct it away from him, while moving his body in an attempt to avoid the blade.

"Uuungh, why won't you die?!"

Vo was starting to get irritated at Enishi's last ditch efforts of survival. Vo repositioned himself towards the top of Enishi's abdomen so he was now standing over his opponent. The only way his feet could reach him now would be for a considereable raise in his lower body level and even then the force in which they would hit him would be little. Vo hoped for the last time that this would be his last try at this. With Enishi's not far in front of him it would be an easy shot. Vo once again raised his blade back, this time swinging it more like a sword.

With Enishi's legs now worthless, the nelvaanian had one more idea. Vo repositioning had left one of his most vital areas open. Raising his legs and bringing his feet flat to the ground, Enishi thrust his head forward, as the blade glided across the ground, to the one thing that could save his life. Enishi was going to headbutt his opponent's groin.

OOOC: "What the hell!"- Vo Qel-Droma upon about being headbutted.

"What the hell!"

Vo didn't know why Enishi kept trying, sure out of desperation some people tried all things to survive but this was just so humorous that Vo had to try not to laugh. Vo just brought his knee up into the path of Enishi's headbutt (the one that isn't pinning your weapon). The best part was that Enishi couldn't block or move his head well enough to get around it. Vo raised hsi vibrosword once more for a strike at Enishi's head while it was coming towards him.

Enishi was about to bite Vo's knee when something told him to fall back. In the corner of his eye, he could see Vo swinging his blade. Forcing himself back, Enishi survived with a long, thin cut across his abdomen. As tiny blood droplets seeped through his fur, Enishi watched as the vibroblade sped towards Vo's outstretched knee. Hopefully, the vibroblade would wound Vo.

OOC: Alright, have fun again.

Vo had more self control over his body to move his leg out of the way. This part of the fight was becoming an annoyance. His opponent was on the ground, now wounded, with both of his arms inoperable and his legs doing nothing more than laying there. Still Enishi seemed to throw out effort after effort to survive and all ended up with Vo stopping them in some way or another. He didn't know if this was the mans own inability to surrender or just the fact that he didn't want to accept death. Vo would be doing the same if the situations were suddenly reversed but for now Vo was in the dominant standing in this fight. The vibro-blade in Vo's hands moved like a blur, this time aiming for Enishi's heart. A place that his opponent could not move and thrusted down like a man trying to skewer a fish. This time if Enishi tried to headbutt Vo he would recieve a quick boot to the face and Vo would just simply re-aim from where he was at and end this.

ooc: DISREGUARD THAT, I'M BACK LOL

This was the time; now or never. Now that both his legs rested from their stress, Enishi kicked at Vo's inner elbow, while using the other leg to kick his forearm. If physics was correct, due to Enishi's pressure to parts of his limb, Vo's blade would hit the ground. This also gave him an idea; While both his hands were pinned, he was still capable of bending the force. While using a force push would proboly send him flying with his opponent, because of the artifical limb's grasp, it would move him from this dreaded position. With what might he had, Enishi called upon the force and sent a wave sprouting from both his hands.

Vo rolled forward as his blade hit the ground. This sent him over Enishi and not planning on taking his opponent with him, Vo let go of his wrist. Vo jumped backwards and settled into a defensive stance. That force push would have gotten him mixed up but the Jedi Knight had used his opponents force to accomplish that little flip he did. Vo grew tired of attacking Enishi. Not that he was exhausted, because that was far from the truth, he was becoming frustrated by Enishi's ability to be just a second from inevitable death and then just pull out of it with one wildcard move that was unthinkable. The Jedi Knight had almost tasted victory and he would attain that goal this day.

ooc: Sorry, man. I just can't let you win, yet. :p

As the jedi knight rolled off of his body, Enishi pushed himself up. His body felt weak as it had been pinned numerously. He would need some time to rest, but his anger said otherwise. Flexing his limbs, Enishi looked to his opponent. Now in defense, Enishi started thinking logically. Enishi may have experiance from years in the jedi order, even though was exiled, but this knight had strength and speed. Enishi's frailty would not win this contest, and he had wasted a quarter of what the force allowed him from toying with Vo. He had won a Grand Tournament in the past, he had his victory... so why not pass on the torch?

No, Giving up this early in the match would not make his opponent any stronger. Enishi had to test this man to his very limits before he could let him continue; no free rides here.

"I was aware this was a fight, Enishi. You look haggard. At what point does this turn from a battle to me beating a corpse?"

Vo still sat patiently in his defensive stance. This battle hadn't been what the Jedi Knight had predicted. He had imagined that he would be winning his first match with ease but when they said that this was the best of the best, they must have ment it. Vo then wondered what the hell would happen if he did advance. If he had this much trouble with his opponent in his first match then logically his battles would become harder, unless of course this WAS the strongest but Vo immediatly weighed the possibilities and deemed that unlikely. But still, if he ever did advance then at some point the battles would become difficult especially with these added twists. Sure vibro-blades were easy but who knew what extremes the officials would go to. Blinded whil fighting over a lava pit?
