Escaping Captivity (Ask)

Upon arriving on Ruuria they were almost immediately put under arrest by the Republic Soldiers. Avare' would get this man that captured both himself and Maeva... he would get the pathetic Jedi... Once in captivity they were brought into a bunker. Traversing downward for some time they passed many personell, an escape almost seemed impossible without their lightsabers. The anger in him boiled, only growing with each passing second. Brought into a large, and well lit room he was put into a Force cage along with Maeva. Their tricks would be usless unless the shield was powered down, and being in seperate shields posed a problem. Pacing back and forth in the 3x3 holding block he waited for someone..anyone to enter the holding block. Then it finally came, an older man, a Captain entered and looked at the two.

"Hmmm... what do we have here?"

Looking over Maeva then Avare' his eyes narrowed, he had questions and wanted answers, that was the reason the bounty had been put out. Motioning to the door a technician walked in and stood next to a series of levers and readout pads. Adressing the female he spoke.

"Tell me Sith... what was your business on Citadel Station!?"

Looking over his shoulder the technician's hand rested on one of the levers, waiting impatiently.

"Answer the question!"

 

[Emma Lou]

Maeva looked up at the officer and smiled. She would answer him, because she knew that she was going to kill him in a little bit.

"Well, I had just killed my husband so I was just trying to get a drink and enjoy myself"

 

[Rev]

The Captain crossed his arms, odd how she had answered with such blunt a tone. Regardless there were more questions that he needed answered.

"Where is the Sith's central base on Korriban located.... what sector!?"

If the captain could get the answers he would surely be promoted, he could finally get off the damn rock known as Ruuria. Avare' on the other hand still paced back and fourth, much like a wild beast that had been captured would, he wanted out, he wanted to kill both the technician and this Captain. One would die with his hands around their throat he was sure of it, the only problem was the Force Cuffs that still bound his hands behind his back.

 

[Emma Lou]

Maeva thought about it for a few minutes. She really did not know what sector, but answering 'I have no idea' was no fun.

"The Korriban Sector?"

She answered in a question.

 

[Rev]

This angered the Captain, did she play him for some kind of fool? Almost roaring out in anger the switch was flipped down by the technician and a shockwave of Electricty rang out through the room. Not through Maeva though, instead through the Sith at her side, Avare'.

"I am no fool Sith! Tell me of the Academy on Korriban!"

The high voltages of lightning coarsed through the Sith Knight as he fell to the ground, unable to stop the spasms the lightning caused. Ignoring the pain as much he could his muscles locked up and he would twitch on the ground, craving to kill the man that commanded his form to be electricuted. The technician had upped the voltage from a normal being as it nearly overloaded the Force Shield killing the contained Avare'.

Maeva watched Avare' get electrocuted. She was not going to try to save him, it was the way of the Sith.

"It is big and dark. Full of evil"

 

[Rev]

This angered the Captain even more, this Sith was simply just playing with him now. Nodding to the technician the lightning came to a hault and Avare' laid limp on the ground, slowly getting up. As he was nearly to his feet the lightning turned on again sending him back to the floor in a crumpled heap before it shut off again. This time a Medical bot entered the room and only Avare's force cage shutdown. Within seconds the Sith Knight was injected with sedatives and truth serums.

"It is apparent you are of no good to us... hopefully he will be!"

He glared at he for a moment before walking out with the heavily sedated Sith Knight, as he exited he gave the technician one final nod and the torture device was turned on Maeva. The lightning would coarse through her form until she passed out as they took Avare' elsewhere for questioning.

 

[Emma Lou]

The lightning tore through her body, but she did not scream. Her face just showed pain, but nothing else. She passed out after several minutes of the lightning.

 

[Rev]

Several hours later Avare' would return, his own anger radiating from his body. The sedatives and truth serum had long past worn off, but he hadn't allowed himself to show it. Looking around as if dazed his face had taken a beating along with the rest of him by the looks of things. By the look on the Captain's face he was just as angry now as when he had left, something which would make Avare' smile, later. As the group approached the cage his eyes fell to the passed out Maeva, it was apparent they had done to her what they had done to him. Looking around with the dazed look there were a total of 3 men, counting the Captain with him.

"Get the medical droid ready... we'll have to try the serum on her. It's apparent this one isn't going to tal..."

The fools hadn't removed Avare's strength gauntlets, a mistake they wouldn't long live past. Pulling with the added strength the steel cuplings broke under the combined might of his own form, and of the gloves. As they broke off he could almost feel the Force rush back to him, begging to be unleashed. Turning on his heel he Force pushed two of the men backwards and into the wall. The first man came in contact with enough Force to dent the durasteel plating and slide to the floor in a heap, the second was more fortunate. He had come in contact with the first soldier and only had the wind knocked out of him.

"Guar..."

The captain made an attempt to call for more help, but was cut off by the Force clenching his throat. Reaching out as the invisble force clenched his trachea Avare' approached him. His crimson eyes staring into the soul of the dying Captain. With one final squeeze the burning sensation in the old man's lungs came to a hault as his neck was snapped and the Force let go of him, dropping him to the floor in the same heap Avare' had been in only hours before. Sucking in a deep breath of air he turned to the final man who was getting up, strucken by fear he made a step towards the door only to have the energy in his body forcefully taken away. His body fell limp and he fell, it was as if the life Force within him had been sucked out. Clenching his fists he stared down at the dead men, only wishing he could do more to them. The last fool gave him a suitable amount of energy to replenish what he had lost, but it was not nearly what he had desired.

Stepping over to the terminal on the wall he pressed a series of buttons before the force shield around Maeva shutdown as well. Walking over to her limp, passed out body he knelt next to her. Giving her face a couple slaps to snap her out of the trance she was in he hoped she would get up, otherwise she'd be left behind...

Maeva grabbed his hand before he could slap her again and opened her eyes with a smile.

"Did you kill those men?"

 

[Rev]

As she took his hand he pulled her to her feet, glad that she had woken up. Taking in a deep breath the anger seemed to return to his form as he looked around. Giving her a simple nod it would suffice for an answer. His jaw ached from the beating he had taken earlier, it was a good possibility his jaw was broken. Walking towards the door he still had no idea where the lightsabers had been placed. The Liutenant had taken it on the surface, so chances are when they found him, they'd find their lightsabers.

"Do you know where our lightsabers are?"

Maeva knew they would be able to get off, but neither of them were going to leave behind their weapon.

 

[Rev]

Walking slowly out of the room he peered out, the coast was clear surprisingly. Calling upon Force Sight he looked around slowly, this entire level was clear, odd. Looking over his shoulder at Maeva he smirked.

"Their Liutenant... I'm willing to leave it behind, it is an important part of us, though it is possible to make another."

He let out a sigh, there was no way he wanted to exit without getting some sort of revenge, and getting his lightsaber back. Though if he had to, he was more than willing.

Maeva agreed, but she really did not want to leave it behind.

"I want to hunt down the Jedi and kill him"

 

[Rev]

Walking up the ramp that would lead them to the first floor of the bunker a group of men turned around the corner. Shock and fear filled there eyes which were quickly ridden away as Avare' sent a Force Push into the group that sent them hard against the wall. Each slid to a hault at the floor and fell into a huddle of crumpled bodies, the Republic's soldiers were weak. Looking back at Maeva he nodded.

"He will pay for this Maeva... if it is not by your hands, it will surely be by mine.."

 

[Emma Lou]

Maeva smiled at him evilly.

"It would be no fun for me if I just let you kill him"

She bent down and pulled a blaster off one of the dead Republic soldiers. There was no sense for them to run around weaponless while looking for her lightsaber. She did not know, or care, if Avare' was going to get a weapon from them though.

 

[Rev]

He walked past the knocked out guards, he would not use the rechid weapons known as blasters. They were clumsy and random, Avare' would much prefer his Lightsaber a elegant weapon from this civilized age. Looking at Maeva he simply smirked, a smirk that held arrogance, a knowing of greater power. Reaching the top of the incline they came to the first floor, the room was filled with technicians and soldiers. Looking back at Maeva once more he spoke.

"The Force is our most powerful weapon my former pupil... no blaster will ever match to the Force. Will ever match to a lightsaber!"

Turning back he seen a soldier taking aim at himself, as the sound of the bolt being fired echoed through the first level eyes shot to the two. Calling upon the Force he absorbed the blast that hit him in the mid section. It did nothing to the Sith Knight, but fill him with more power, more Force Energy. Looking down at where he had been struck there was a blaster hole, then he looked up to the shooter who looked in awe, in fear. Every other soldier, technician, and officer had the same expressionless face of fear locked within them. Taking in a slow, deep breath he began to focus his energy. Now would be the best time to strike, no one was doing anything but staring, still shocked at the power the Force contained. A hurricane of energy was in his palm and he would release it on the left side of the base. This was the side that contained technician stations and their tens of power conduits. Releasing the maelstrom of lightning at the group it was as if the lightning was attracted to every object it was in reach of. Men fell to the floor in pain as their operating stations shot out voltages of their own, enough power to kill a rancor. The chain reaction would be sent down a power station where three technician's lay in wait, all dropped by the excessive amounts of electricity jolting out and cooking them from the inside out. A smell was beginning to fill the air now, a mixture of burnt flesh and smoke. The smell only fueled the Sith Knight, he was loving the aroma of death, they would all pay....

Maeva just let Avare' do his thing. She had thought she was malicious, but watching him made her feel rather mild. He had a point about the blaster and she threw it down. She just wanted to be able to feel her lightsaber in her hand again.

 

[Rev]

The chaos would finally come to a close what felt like hours later, only in real time it had been a matter of seconds. bodies were charred by the voltages that had just been coursed through their beings. Looking to the rightside of the base the guards still stood in awe, the Sith had just taken down nearly two squads of technicians and soldiers, quite the feat. As a Sergeant raised his gun to fire Avare' simply Force Pulled it from the trembling man's hands. It sailed across the room at a haunting speed that drew more shock to the men around the Sergeant. Each seemed to take a step back in unison, fear had long past sank into their souls. As the rifle came in contact with his hand he held it firmly, looking the barbaric weapon over before wielding it. Taking aim at the former master of the weapon Avare' fired a burst into the soldier, dropping him where he stood. The recoil seemed so... ruthless, pointless, and barbaric. The weapon would suffice until he found his elegant blade... in the mean time he hoped Maeva would be able to carry her own weight in the revenge cycle of things.

Maeva was kind of upset now that Avare' had a gone. He had just told her the blasters were beneath him, but now he was good enough to use one. She called the discarded blaster back to her hand. She just wanted to get off of this station as soon as possible.
