I've spoken about it with @Critas on discord but I want to put it here in the OOC, I'm disputing his defense of the final attacks A'ro made and have asked him to edit.

In his response he says that he sees A'ro blindly raising the saber to throw it and then sidesteps left once to avoid the blaster bolts, but by my post A'ro is completely obscured from view both inside and outside of the sphere of fire resulting from the fire surrounding and eating through the barrier. There's also the point that nothing about the attacks were blind as A'ro is sensing and tracking Artorian through the Force.

Finally, we have Artorian's intent. He is holding A'ro rooted in place, and very smugly just waiting for him to burn to death. He is not in any way preparing for a counterattack. His focus is entirely on keeping A'ro from running away or dodging the fire; but I clarified with Critas directly that A'ro could still move his arms - he just couldn't run.

Considering all of these points as well as the distance between them, something I estimate to be less than 2m apart given the map of positions supplied by @Phoenix and A'ro's pivoted rush across the corridor toward Artorian, I feel like not only does the surprise attack of the javelin-thrown lightsaber have a very good chance of striking Artorian and seriously wounding or even impaling him, even if he were to sidestep the first blaster shot A'ro is tracking his position through the Force and would be able to adjust the aim of the second in the half-second between trigger pulls required by the PvP Rules.

I'm not going to speak to all of this as I'll let @Critas have his words, but doesn't it seem a bit of a stretch that a FS who discovered he was FS 20 seconds ago and has no training at all can use the Force to block fire from a level 2 while also using it to accurately aim at and fire at someone without being able to see them at all? In addition to the fact that there is literal impending death upon him/burning to death? Seems a bit of a stretch to me, but that's just a passing opinion more than anything

He wasn't able to block it, the sphere was constantly shrinking and cracking deliberately and specifically because he couldn't keep back the Level 2s power. The barrier was fueled by hate and rage and agony in the moments proceeding certain death - something that we know from both canon *and* legends can push the strength and abilities of the person using the Force in that moment to powerful heights, generally at great personal harm. If A'ro had somehow pushed the flames away and stumbled away trying to live you'd have an argument there, but this was a deliberate "rage against the dying of the Light" moment proceeding death. I also don't think it's unreasonable at all that he could sense the Sith 6 feet away that he was already facing/targeting and the Sith was focusing his power onto him.
