"As you wish." Strife replied, taking his saber as well, "Though i have worked out the majority of the flaws in the floating saber form, Shii-Cho would be best for me wouldn't it?" he commented, "In any case, let's begin, shall we?" Strife stood, relaxed, finding it was the best way to react, rather then stand at attention, muscles tensed.

"So you showed me how to utilize the force, however unorthodox your training was, it was effective, so what are the principles of Shii-cho?" Strife knew of each style, though never looked into any of them, nor practiced them.

"I have never practiced Shii-Cho but it is the most basic of traditional forms as it has a bit of everything. So, no I will not instruct you in Shii-Cho. You will do that yourself. I want you to go to the library and research it. Spar with your companion and meet with me again in this room two weeks from now. Until that day I will continue instructing you on use of the Force." Obelisk clipped his weapon back onto his belt.

He strode to the door briskly, stepping around strife. "And clean up the room here." he hissed and opened the door with a wave of his hand.

OOC: I shall do the honors then. lol

IC: The cleaning of the room took longer then expected, though there was nothing he could do about the dents and slices in the Dura-Steel. Upon leaving the room, Strive met up with Havok, Both of them studying in the style of Shii-cho. THoguh when he had time Havok looked into the other styles, trying to figure out which would suit him the most. Like they have in the past, Strife and Havok trained, Havok still horribly overpowering Strife in the area of sheer force, However, thanks to Obelisk, Strive used his newfound Telekinesis to gain the upper hand on his Brother.

The next two weeks became mostly routine, Strife would meet up with Obelisk when he could, then spent his entire afternoon studying and training with Havok, toning his body along with his mind, and at night, he would meditate, Floating in the center of his chambers, tuning his connection to the force even further, along with recovering his body.

At the end of the Two weeks, Strife was located in the same room where he first trained with Obelisk, Floating in a meditative state in the very center, Preparing his mind and body for what was to come. It was like his very presence was different.

Obelisk stood in his quarters aboard his ship The Staggered Peak. His robes laid out before him on the small bed. Atop them was his black mask just waiting to be donned before he entered the Enclave. It had been two weeks since he had started training Strife. He passed on his knowledge of the Force and even managed to learn the man's Force Sight. The ability proved to be quite useful, though in the Enclave everyone seemed to share the same aura.

Silently he dressed in the Order's black robes. The garb was light and almost charcoal in color. Wraps enveloped his arms and legs tightly, showing the form of his lean limbs. His scars were caressed by the soft material the rustled mutely with each motion as the Zabrak finished pulling on the short robe around his body. Finally he covered his face with the mask and only his orange eyes gave clue to who he was.

He left his ship and entered the enclave. The utter silence could be described as deafening to one who was not accustomed to it. But Obelisk could hear much in his head. Members wordlessly conversed about Order matters and shared wisdom with each other. They spoke of their apprentices or masters and Obelisk smiled at the thought of meeting his student in the training room once more.

He rounded a few corners and there it was, the durasteel door. Behind it Strife awaited, meditating no doubt. Obelisk wasted no time and quickly waved his hand. The door slid open as the Force pulled it aside and into the room entered Obelisk. Without a thought he pulled his weapon to his waiting hand and ignited it.

As the Door opened, Strife did not react, as if he did not notice. However, as Obelisk lit his blade, another saber, already lit, swung at obelisk, impacting his sword, with more than decent force behind it, "I've been practicing..."
Strife was ready, and had been waiting for this since he was told he had two weeks to practice. "Let us see the difference between when we first met, and today" Strife claimed as he "stood", though in reality he only stretched his legs down towards the ground from where he was afloat. Strife's saber broke off of the lock it was holding with Obelisk's landing in Strife's right hand, Strife pointing the blade towards Obelisk, "Come"

Strife showed not a sense of being cocky, but of a well faithed confidence in himself and his brother, as the training they both placed on each-other went far beyond torturous.

Obelisk batted away Strife's weapon as it locked against his. He had not expected such a preemptive strike but was nonetheless on guard. As the neophyte recalled the lightsaber his words entered the Gladiator's mind. Confidence seemed to tinge each word. Whether it was well founded, however, would be determined soon enough.

The zabrak grinned broadly behind his mask and stepped forward with a few sure steps and held his lightsaber to the side. His style of Makashi would suit him well in lightsaber combat and it was to his advantage that he never divulged to Strife which form he practiced. "We shall see, keep in mind I have yet to educate you on certain abilities that will supplement your physical capabilities. I will not hold back."

Obelisk drew the Force into himself, bolstering his physical speed.

As Obelisk ready'd himself, Strife twitched his head, Everything going black. "Has what you learned taken hold yet?" Strife's voice came from everywhere, as did the low hum of his saber, "How reliable is your sight at this point... when your sight has been stripped?" Not only was Strife eager to face Obelisk, but to see how much he truly learned about his sight in their sessions.

Strife took note of What Obelisk said, physical augmentation, the first thing that came to mind was strength, speed, and reflexes. In an attempt to counter this, Strife formed a small barrier around him, one of a constant current of force push swirling around him. This would serve to slow the attacks as it neared Strive, his only protection as he indeed did not know how to augment his own physical body, something that would be more suited for his brother. "I take comfort in knowing that you will not know back." He took his stance, which ended up being more of a defensive stance.

OOC: i love how we write these posts, that get nothing done lol

Obelisk took a deep breath to center himself. Even in darkness he was aware of where he stood in relation to the dimensions of the room Through Force sight he could see Strife's grey aura and wisps of energy circling around him. Was he trying to make a barrier? The Gladiator merely performed the Makashi flourish, cutting an X into the air with his silver blade before darting in at the neophyte.

Spurred by Force speed the zabrak pierced through Strife's little bubble. He was only slowed by a slim margin. He performed a quick series of precise strikes to test the student's defenses before darting back to avoid retaliation. A few strikes were aimed to deliver shallow knicks on Strife's extremeties.

Leaping backwards with greater speed then he was capable of before, Strife was able to deflect the majority of the blows, the rest he countered with a powerful push, one that would send himself and Obelisk in opposite directions. Strife's fighting seemed less thought out, a trait unusual in him, rather his movements we're more instinctual. Knowing Obelisk was newer at the sight, Strife figured that Obelisk's vision was not as accurate as Strife's. Using this to his advantage, Strife Flared up his energies, sending them in all directions, covering Obelisk's vision, Strife effectively hiding himself.

Withing his cover, Strife raised his hand, Small iron bars, from the walls breaking off from their mount, the noise coming from everywhere, as the bars we're located in different areas of the room. With a twitch of Strife's finger, each bar pointed towards Obelisk, "I should thank you for such effective training." He transmitted, again the 'voice' coming from no particular direction. Strife closed his hand, the four bars launching at Obelisk with great speed, each from a different direction.

If this attack was successful, considering the preparation, each bar would pierce through Obelisk, missing any vital organs, but pinning him on the ground by his shoulder, chest, abdomen, and left thigh.

OOC: sorry it took me so long mate, got caught up in school

Obelisk made no sound aside from those of his footfalls as he backpedalled against the wall. He felt the Force surging through the room as Strife tried to hide himself within a burst of energy. It was enough to make the man invisble to the Gladiator but in the end it was a fruitless endeavor.

When the Force energies fluctuated again Obelisk could see the bars as bright as day, as well as Strife himself. The robed Zabrak used his own Push to halt the bars in midair as both abilities colided, rendering the attack useless. Underneath the mask he was beaming at the progression his student had made.

With a flourish Obelisk came at Strife, using the Force to implant the image of his aura in Strife's mind, creating the illusion that there were two of him. Having learned Force sight he too had gained knowledge to how to trick it, for he too saw his own illusion.

Strife, seeing two images of a flurrying obelisk charge towards him, smirked to himself. He dashed towards the illusion, saber pointed forward. However, the moment that Strife began to pass through the man was not there, Strife planted his foot, altering his direction within the last moment, his saber clashing with Obelisk's. This was meant to only move through obelisk's defenses; his saber, Strife extended two fingers towards Obelisk's chest. A small piece of debris, a twisted shard of metal, broken off the wall the same time as Strife removed the bars, collected during the commotion, Fired like a bullet towards Obelisk's torso, from within his own guard. If it hit, it would miss any vital organ, like before, yet it would fracture a rib where it connected to the spine. Regardless of if the attacked worked or not, Strife would retract, jumping backwards. "You attempt to fool one who has lived with this from birth." his 'voice' seemed to be amused, "an admirable attempt at best, though you forget the small details." Strife mimicked Obelisk's illusion, yet formed his own body perfectly, down to the smallest facial detail, before it dissipated. "Work on it, and try it again in a few years." The only reason Strife was able to craft a copy of himself so perfectly was because it was all he saw in himself. this gave him plenty of time to know every single one of his features, without the cloak of sight blocking it.

By the time Strife's lightsaber connected with Obelisk's, the Gladiator was already stepping to the side and dragging his weapon down across the man's thigh. The attempted attack of his opponent was already zinging past his shoulder to make a ping off the wall. There was little Strife could do to suprise Obelisk, who had lived months in Angel's illusions.

The overconfidence in Strife's tone was enough to warrant a shrug from Obelisk before he cut through the quickly rendered, yet very accurate illusion. There is still much you need to learn." he stated telepathically as he built up enough Force energy to pull Strife past him. As the student went by Obelisk struck him with the pommel of his lightsaber.

Though Obelisk had taught Strife much, there was still plenty left to learn. Using the Force took time to do, and when engaged in lightsaber combat it was best to simply focus on that alone. "You have seen through the Force since birth but do you listen to it?" And that was the true aim of today's lesson.

Obelisk had spent almost his entire life following his instinct only to find that it was the Force guiding him. Since then he had spent much time simply meditating and listening to the ebb and flow of it around him. When Strife understood, only then could his training be truly completed. "The Force is more than just a tool."

As Obelisk faced Strife, who cracked his neck in response to the pommel striking the back of his head, Strife's own light saber, deactivated, struck the Zabrak on the vertebra in his neck, before it flew into Strife's hand, a small show that Strife had moves set up far in advance. "If what you say is true, then my response to your first charge, was not instinctual?" he queried, "You are correct, that The force isn't just a tool, if it was i don't believe i would be able to see. I would only see people, or animals. But no, The force is truly in everything, living and non-living alike. I am able to see it, but to hear it, I'm not entirely sure what you mean, as i am sure that it goes much deeper then how we are commuting right now." Strife lent back on the wall behind him, gathering as much rest as he could in this short break.

Obelisk heeded his instinct and ducked his head, letting Strife's weapon float past fruitlessly. He deactivated his own weapon and returned it to his belt. He folded his arms and took several steps towards the center of the room, seemingly unaffected by the bout. Obelisk halted and stood rigidly, slowly pivoting around on his heel to face the neophyte.

"Center youself, focus on the sound of my heartbeat. Now reach out and listen carefully to the silence of the room. Hear the Force echoing through the room. Your 'sight' can betray you. As can your ears. But the Force..."

One of the few times in his life, Strive allowed his vision to go black. focusing on his other senses instead. Obelisk's heartbeat created echoes through the room, seeming to animate in waves heading outward. He stayed silent, feeling his surroundings. Feeling the force i na new perspective. This feeling, however, was different, unfiltered so to speak. It was completely different from what strife 'saw' "I feel it..." Strife was completely relaxed at this point, "You are right," he started, "The force doesn't lie"

Obelisk held his lightsaber aloft with the Force, the smooth handle spun slowly in his telekinetic grasp. Even his manipulation of the Force would be relayed to Strife who seemed to be appreciating the lesson. His student had been far too focused on simply trying to 'win' rather than learn that he had neglected to actually review himself after each clash.

With each series of attacks that he made earlier he ensured that a few glancing strikes would harmlessly knick Strife's clothing. Though for someone such as Strife, they woudln't notice the tiny scorch marks on the black robes of the Pentacle Athame Order. "Now, when you use the Force you leave yourself vulnerable. Tasks such as moving objects and such take time to perform, doing such acts in combat can be quite dangerous. If your opponent is distracted, say from a wound or such, you can take the opportunity to either subdue them or... finish them. Each time you tried to hurl something at me you gave me time to avoid the attack. With experience you will become more attuned to the Force. Don't rush it."

Though Obelisk may have thought otherwise, Strife was indeed learning from his mistakes, though his guidance was true, while fighting one of greater power, cunning was very important, the art of distraction should be utilized whenever possible. "It seems i was outmatched from the very beginning." his head facing Obelisk, "The burns in my clothing have been well taught."
Of course Strife knew of his clothing getting singed, he was blind but he could still feel the heat of the burn not even an inch away from his skin.

OOC: another short one, not sure what to post atm, i was never good at being the weak one.

Obelisk approached Strife before placing a reassuring hand on the man's shoulder. He had confidence in the neophyte, perhaps because he too had recently been in the same shoes or it was that Strife saw through the Force everyday. The masked zabrak continued pacing until his distance from the miraluka was far enough.

With a snap-hiss Obelisk once again ignited his lightsaber and held the weapon to the side.He waited now to see Strife's reaction.

Strife nodded at the gesture, though as Obelisk ignited his lightsaber, Strife simply observed, Imma let you take the reigns... his thoughts ringing in his own head. Strife started to breath deeper, slower. with each inhale, the dust around the room was pulled towards Strife, circling around him, and as he released his breath, the dust was forced away. Though unseen by normal means, Strife's energy channeled, focused throughout his body. the breathing circulated it, the intensity growing. "If forcing everything outwards takes to long" Strife ignited his saber, "Then a more immediate solution is needed, no?"

Strife slid his right foot backwards, his saber held before him, ready for Obelisk.

Strife understood now. Obelisk's face twisted into a proud smile behind his mask as he darted in at the neophyte. His speed was increased exponentially by the Force as he came at Strife and made a single strike, his weapon coming up from Strife's left knee and moving to cross over to his right shoulder.

He remained vigilant, prepared to counter against the neophyte as he would move back. His style suited perfectly for lightsaber contact.
