@soed

I see.....well that is just silly. I've yet to participate in a pvp here. So by these people's reasoning, it can be said that writing you ran (normally) should exhaust you, and after doing so you need a nap before running again. :)

Anything associated with Art of Movement should be hand-waved as daily routines.
Indeed!

I haven't PvPed either, but I have been following the tech vs force powers debate a little bit, and it seems that at least partly relatively vague rules are the reason for this sort of anti-force-usage atmosphere, which Green Ranger is now trying to remedy :-)

Yeah the whole tech vs FP will always be a debate. The only tech I need vs Force Powers is my creative mind.

While I'm new here, I'm just gonna throw in my two cents here... When I pvp I tend to think about games like the Jedi Knight series or KOTOR. Not really in the use of the force but more like the use of force exhaustion and how many things you're able to do in a single battle. In the games you're only able to use like one or two powers at the beginning but as you progress you're able to do more at once. Also that's what the character sheet is for. If it's not on the sheet (which I've seen many people forget to add things or abilities to on many other sites) then it's not possible for them to do it. On a side note I really do like the FAIL system you wrote up @Green Ranger it seems pretty FAILsafe :D (sorry couldn't help myself ^-^)

Just to address why you'll find most members don't have lists of known Force Powers - we don't require it, and even actively discourage it on this site. For a bit of background, see this thread.

You'll do well here.
