Avare' stood in the hanger of the Sith Academy, he was awaiting his Apprentice, Maeva Lyndrose. Standing next to the two person Sith Transport they would be heading to Coronet. He had plans in store for not only the Governor of Coronet, but his Apprentice as well. Information had been leaked that needed to be brought out. Hearing the sounds as the turbolift came to a thudding hault he made his way onto the small carrier. Strapping himself into the pilot's chair he knew his Apprentice would find her way to Docking Bay 8, ship E-10.

He was right. She was smarter then the average Sith apprentice, as she had just proved earlier in the day. She entered the ship and nodded her head in his direction. She sat in the co-pilot seat and awaited instrutions.

Upon her entering the cockpit and strapping in he closed the loading ramp. With a hiss and a series of thuds followed by the click as the door locked in place he took the yoke. Lifting off as if it were a 2nd nature and shooting out of the hanger they were on their way.

"I take it you know Coronet... we will be talking to the Governor there. The man goes by Colonel Yuukil, hes loved by a quarter of the city, and the rest would like to see him dead. We'll be removing him from office and a new Politician will be put in place, one with a greater Sith influence... one that is allied to us."

Looking over at Maeva as they began to break the atmosphere of Korriban he smirked, the only sign of emotion the dark figure seemed to show. As they came to the free float in space he looked at the stars that littered the sky. Thousands of white specs, something he used to appreciate before turning to the Darkside, things had changed greatly since his metamorphasis to the Sith....

"Load the coordinates to Corellia..."

His hand rested on the hyperdrive thruster, an impatience comming over him as he wished to get to the planet as fast as possible..

She looked over at him then loaded the coordinates to her former home. She knew this was going to be a quiet ride, because Avare' just did not seem like the chatty type. That, of course, was fine with her for she was not very talkative either.

As the coordinates loaded in he hit the thruster forward and the ship jolted. The stars were no longer dots as they turned into solid lines for nearly 3 seconds before disapearing completely. The hyperspace tunnel formed around them the blue endless stream through space seemed as if it would go on forever. Looking out it as the ship leveled off and the thrust became a gentle ride once again. They would soon be in Coronet, the truth would be revealed, and the Sith would have yet another ally in a central trading system.

Maeva could not stand it anymore! The silence was maddening and so she had to break it. She had not spoken to Avare' since his little escapade with lightning and her body. She had not uttered a single word to him. She swallowed and opened her mouth to speak. It was dry and it felt like she had not spoken in several days.

"What made you join the Sith?"

Her voice was soft and very non-menacing as she was raised with privaledge and never had to speak loudly to get what she wanted. She was not sure what to expect as an answer. She sincerely hoped that it was not more Force lightning, because she would probably die this time.

Pulling the hood down he looked at the navicomputer, they still has nearly an hour left before they would reach Corellia. Though he would've much rather Meditated, getting to know his Apprentice more seemed as if it would be the better and wiser move. Responding to her question in a less menacing and evil tone than he usually put on it almost sounded as if there was a soul somewhere in his corrupted mind and body.

"Power... the constant betrayal of those around me. The Sith is the way of a lone Kath Hound, something I had been since joining the Jedi. Their constant betrayal is what sent me to the Sith Academy. My Master's as a Jedi fell to the Sith, even the Grandmasters of the Jedi order fell to the dark ways.. it is an obvious choice for Power... an obvious choice for the winning side."

He looked over at her and almost smiled, it had been some time since he had actually spoken to someone in the way he was now. The first in a long time since he had truly 'bonded' with someone. Though it was expected between Master and Apprentice, it even happened to the Jedi.

"It was a choice I made... a choice I dont regret as I had when joining the Jedi. Now Maeva, what is it that made you join the Sith Empire..? I would have to admit, you aren't the true Power the Sith give off... though you are getting there" He flashed a mischievious smile before continuing. "You abandoned your life, your norms to join a faction you knew almost nothing about... quite a risk... a wise risk, though a risk none-the-less...."

Maeva shrugged. She honestly did not know why she wanted to join the Sith. She could have sat at home for the rest of her life and lived off her fathers and her husbands money. Sitting at home was not something Maeva found favorable though.

"I have worked for the Republic and I do not like their deception. They hide the things thy do and make it so that no one ever finds out. They are liars and no good. I wanted to join the Sith so then I could show the Republic real power," she paused. It was still hard for her to speak of her family, "Also, I needed to find something to take my mind off my family and I needed to grow powerful so that I may seek revenge."

Her rambling on about power and revenge nearly excited him, she had much promise, something he was glad to see. Reclining back in the chair he relaxed a bit, wanting to get more out of her.

"Revenge you say? What is it you wish to seek revenge on my Apprentice?"

She did not need to think about this answer since it was so easy.

"My father's murderer"

She looked down and started to play with her hands. When she caught sight on her wrists she turned them inwards. She could never make those go away.

Seeing the markings he smirked, it was an early lesson it would seem. She seemed to be embracing the pain even before their encounter at the Sith Academy.

"A lesson... you taught yourself of pain... how to survive through it. The earliest teachings of the Sith were no differen't, it is what brought you here I'm sure. Do not hide yourself, you were weak Maeva... all too weak, now you are becomming power... people will look upon you, and they will be staring at strength, they will be staring at a true Sith."

The ship jolted and came to a hault, once again in the free float above the planet. Looking down he could see Corellia and its many colors. Nodding he hadn't even realized the time they had burnt away, they would have to speak more later. Taking hold of the yoke once again he switched the ship to manual and began to lower towards the planet...

"I did not do this. My parents did"

She was silent for the rest of the decent into Corellia.

"...then you see why they are dead, and you live."

He left it at that as he avoided a Starport, instead spotting an open plain outside the city. Taking the ship down gently it hit the ground with a thud, the landing gears taking the blunt of the shots as their hydrolics braced the hit. Powering down the ship he looked out the portside window, even the plains were flourishing with Farmers and travelers by the looks of things. This was a wise planet to be on, they would use it to perfection if their man got into power. Hitting the boarding ramp activator the familiar sounds rang through the interior as the durasteel dropped into place. Getting up he walked off the ship and stretched out his legs before pulling the hood back over his face...

Maeva was not sure what he meant by that. The only reasons she had the markings was because it was tradition in the wealthy family. She stood when he did and followed him down the ramp. She had put on her dark cloak before they left Korriban and now she also put it up to cover her face. No reason letting her neighbors know what happened to her so soon.

"...Come my Apprentice..."

Walking towards the dense city his pace was slow. There was no immediate rush to get to the Capital building. Tucking his arms within the cloak his pace remained constant and in control of the group. Leading Maeva towards a house near the outskirts of the city he stared at the large Corellian estate. A woman with several children were outside tending to the plants and grounds.

Maeva stopped behind Avare' and looked at the estate. She smiled, it reminded her of her own, but it was smaller then her house. She would never tell Avare' about all the money she had unless she was forced. She did not even know what she was going to do with the family money since she was never going to marry again or have children. She looked down at that thought. She wanted a family so bad, but she could never have one with the Sith.

"Is this the Governor's house?"

Avare' could sense he wants, something that could be fulfilled if she handled herself correctly. Though there would be the constant risk of a fellow Sith using a family against her, a true weakness, a hinderance, but very much so possible. Staring at a Soldier that was heading towards the house he nodded.

"That is the Colonel... the Governor..."

His eyes narrowed on the middle aged man, he must have done something right through the years, he was relatively young and held a high position. Corellia was in a time of need though, there was no telling how old their youngest leaders could be. Glaring at the Governor he had never seen the man before, maybe Maeva had, it was her home planet and it wouldn't be a surprise if the newly appointed Governor was seen on Holovids around town.

Maeva did not realize that she knew him until he was closer. Shock and anger came over her. She did indeed recognize him. She turned and glared at Avare'. She wanted to kill him. She wanted to show him what he had turned her in to.
"You knew!"

He smirked and looked at her, her anger flourishing, growing around her. He could almost see the Aura of hate she was giving off.

"Quiet..."

His eyes focused on her former husband as he approached the woman, giving her a hug which was followed by a peck on the lips. Narrowing much like a predator would before attacking it's prey he spoke.

"This... this is not part of your training, this is the realization of your former life. You were scammed Maeva."

Turning to her his eyes fixated on her and her alone.

"According to our spies he has been with her nearly two weeks after your 'marriage.' There is no telling how long before as he hadn't been a prospect for the Sith's placement."

Uncrossing his arms his eyes refocused on the prey, the man was making his way into the house with his children. The wife was lingering outside collecting whatever it was the children had been playing with.

"He was high ranking when you two were wed... when he went to battle there was no battle, simply a false death brought about to trick you. He exploited your weakness for family... he broke you. It would not surprise me if it was his doing in the murder of your Father... the Republic is known to kill those they see as threats."

He was sure his words would be running through her head, whether false or truths it was his duty to the Sith Empire to twist his apprentice. She must lose her old life, and use what is left of it to empower herself...

Avare' probably expected her to rush in there and slaughter everyone, but she just stood there. She just stared at the house as tears streaked down her cheeks. She felt her knees buckle and she hit the ground a few seconds later. She was going back to that safe zone. When she was a small child before anything wrong happened in her life.
