From a personal point of view I am against the Spies idea. I mean lets face it, if some are going to be spyingon others, and the Sith. If you think about it, there is not only a threat of them falling to the darkside, but how quickly will a Sit hwith any Force powers work out that something isn't right. It just ain't viable.

Also on a personal view. I would have to say Malaks makes the most sense to me and is also most logical to me.

I personally don't like Malak's plan, but if Jar is ok with it, than I guess I am too. He's a smarter Jedi. It is the safest plan of action, and it will prevent the sith from taking over republic worlds.

And I shall repeat myself, sabotage doesn't require spies. I've already agreed that the spies are too risky, but I still support the sabotage idea.

I know, and obviously the Sabotage idea will be taken into consideration. And also, do not believe in something just because I believe in it; sure I have been on the Council and such, but it doesn't mean that what I think is right. The Jedi are known for their democracy like stand and this still stays, me and Dakar are more than happy to listen to ideas to improve the order.

I only feel that Malaks plan is safest because it means that we aren't going straight out onto the front line, and ruin our chances of managing to defend the planets. Once we're out of it, and a lot of the Republic is as well, the War is over.

I'm not saying I believe in it just because you do, I just take what you have to say about these matters into consideration. The same as Plo Koon and Ki-Adi-Mundi greatly respect the opinion of Qui-Gonn Jinn. It is the safest plan, I admit that, and it makes sense. I simply don't have a good feeling about it, but I'm probably wrong. (don't laugh, I get feelings about anything I'm helping with. Especially when there is various plans of actions or solutions)

No. I do actually, it's just that we have different views on how to interpret the Jedi Code. Which is understandable.

I really don't feel like restating what I've been saying so that you can have another go at understanding. It's only leading you... towards hostile behavior.[/b]
LOL

Unless (as stated in my profile) I have put a * beside the beginning of my posts, I am not upset, nor becoming hostile. I save those emotions for when it's actually needed, like when someone says something I deem completely stupid and ignorant. Which goes hand in hand.

Okay, Kurt. Dakar and Jar said that the jedi won't deal with criminals, but can the republic still use their aid?

Perhaps we could start giving out missions to each Jedi that would help rebuild the order/help the Republic out.

I would gladly do it, and would be more than happy to team up with someone. I'm in a thread with Balian and like his character, I would like to do a mission with him, if he and the council allow it.

Also, we should keep the specifics of the missions in the council forum, obviously. Just stating the obvious in case someone posts the details out in the open.

Of course each mission should have a long term effect.

That would be quite a good idea, so if you put it in the Ideas thread then it shall be placed in the poll that will be put up probably either tomorrow or near tomorrow.

just kade's ten cents. damn money inflation

i Think, since the jedi, as compared to the entire galaxy arn't really -- you know, like Huge.

I think we should have perhaps a jedi to about 50-100 republic men, not only to boost morale, but if you think about it. Do you Really think that the Jedi can defend planets? I meen, comon'!

Jedi = Not skilled in; Blasters, Heavy Weapons, Explosives, flanking, etc.

I meen, in order for the jedi to defend, they'll need to actually attack close range, unless you have like -- all super-force weilders who can destroy armys of 50,000+ in invasions with the force, and the force alone.

I Think we should put republic soldiers everywhere IMPORTANT, not every planet in the republic is worth it's while, heres my opinion, we put 1 jedi to every 50 - 75 men, The jedi acts as a feild commander, and outside of battle, has no ranking so we dont have super jedi-generals Post-war.

sooo -- we should have republic troops for defence AND offencive manuvers, perhaps a few commando soldiers for sabatoge, but - seriously, do you expect a jedi to know how to load a cannon, fire it, reload, re-aim, fire, etc.

in the words of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

"So uncivilized."

(meening he dosn't want to learn how to use the blasters and stuff)

So, that's my mixed in plan that i typed up at 3 AM.
