I was thinking more along the lines of potential Jedi seer's or something, younglings with an extremely strong connection to the force who are being trained in secret due to the recent attack on the temple.
No, the Jedi have been updating the defenses ever since the attack. Ossus at this point can be considered a point that the Hutts would have to throw a decent amount of power at. I've accidentally become inactive in the thread discussing more strength, but I will contact Hakim and get it going again.

And the Hutt's don't have any secret weapons factories either and their known compounds are extremely well fortified.

You could at least be willing to take the risk, it'd make a really awesome story.

I know, but at the same time I'm not going to make it something blatantly unwise. Something smart might be attempting to capture new Jedi recruits on their way to the temple. We can try and grab users that make new Jedi and ask if they'd like to do this. This can be their first rp on the site and could actually make for a storyline where Jedi must be rescued from Hutt/Bogan control. I like that better.

Kaeb's right, it would make sense for you to be training valuable assets in a hidden location. You're saying that these new defenses put in place on Ossus would protect them, but have we forgotten that the Jedi Temple is basically a half-destroyed pile of rubble on Coruscant? That place was a fortress.

Yes it was a surprise attack, but if the Bogan on their own can sack the equivalent of 10000000 Pentagons, then I don't think the Jedi would be sitting in their creaky old Ossus monastery saying "don't worry, the Hutts and the Bogan could never hurt us here." The only way that there could actually be adequate defenses if it the Republic kept a fleet there. Other than that, the Council would be full of idiots if they thought some turrets and other defenses on the ground (even if there were weapons platforms in space) would be enough to protect them from an entire empire.

This can be their first rp on the site and could actually make for a storyline where Jedi must be rescued from Hutt/Bogan control. I like that better.

That's interesting in theory, but in practice I think that could backfire horribly. If the Jedi lose, those new characters would be lambs to the slaughter. Their first RP on the site would result in them being massacred, and something tells me they wouldn't be RPing here anymore.

I think one of the other temples would be an appropriate hiding place for them. Tython would be the best place to 'hide' padawans that is very far from the outer rim.

I don't think we should have a battle on a brand new (from an OOC POV) Jedi location. I'd pick a planet that's not going to have a training board, and then that's what I'd use.

Oh for crying out loud. Can we discuss anything in the Hall of Leaders forum without it fizzling out into nothingness?
