Lu Kane's training

[Lillianne Crasse]

*The dark room seems void of all items save the floor. The walls seem as if they are from an ancient time and barely holding together. Upon the floor there are scortch marks from a battle. If they were to be investigated thoroughly, one would see that they weren't that old...only a few years. It was this room he felt the pull to enter. Candlelight flickered dimly in the old room.*

 

[Ser Yorick]

*Lu Kane stood just outside the door, his tan robes stained with blood from past battles and skirmishes. He took it off, and threw it on the floor. He brushed back his hair, an impulse he always had when he was nervous though few knew it. Lu could feel the presence of something in the room, though he could not tell what it was, so, on instinct... he stepped in*

 

[Lillianne Crasse]

*The massive stone door creaked and then slammed shut. The room was completely darkened. He couldn't see anything. Only when he stepped into the center of the room did a candlestick in each corner of the room spark to life. Right next to him stood Rajani. How she had entered the room and how long she had been there couldn't be determined.*

"Finally you arrive. Time is wasting."

 

[Ser Yorick]

*Lu wasn't quite astonished at the apparent apparition for he had seen some strange things lately, especially around her. He looked around the room, taking in the ancient walls and the candles in each corner lighting the room ablaze. There was blood on the floor which had an eerie effect because of the reddish orange light. Lu turned to greet Rajani and gave her a small curt bow, nodded and waited for her to continue*

"Tell me what you know of the Force. Don't give me what they spoon feed the Jedi. Tell me what you feel the Force is and what it can do."

*She needed to know how much of what he had already learned needed to be unlearned.*

 

[Ser Yorick]

"The Force is the energy force around us, it is a tool used by the strong and wise, the jedi are fools and use it for good. The true nature of the Force is not of needless healing and good, but for whoever is strong enough and powerful enough. The jedi lets the Force guide them to helping the weak, even though they do not deserve to live, they serve only to feed the strong. I believe not in helping the weak or just plain killing them, but to use them til they are no longer needed, for my own benefit"

 

[Lillianne Crasse]

*Some of what he had said was true, but there was so much wrong in his statement as well.*

"The Force is created by all living things: people, aliens, plants, all of these things create the Force. To us, it is a weapon, a tool, just as you said. We use it just as the Jedi use their lightsabers and can wield it to our own purpose. The Jedi follow the will of the Force, but if we create it, why do we need to follow what it wills? It exists because of us, therefore, we will use it as we want. Using the Force, you will learn to take out enemies with quick blows, strengthen yourself while in combat, and use it to hide you as you sneak in the darkness towards your ultimate goal....do you know what this goal is, apprentice?"

*She turns her back to him and walks towards the entrance. The door slides open and a slave comes in and bows before her feet. She stops before the slave and holds her hand out. The fear in the slave's eyes could be seen and even felt in the room.*

"It's power. All who see you will know of this power and bow down before you worshipping your very paths. You shall be great among men. Through manipulation, you hold the galaxy by the throat."

*The slave rose up into the air as his hands grasped for an unseen hand at his throat. The gurgling and cracking of the bones of the neck could be heard as he desperately tried to let out a voice of plea for his very life force. The glint in Rajani's eye was enough to show the slave he would get no stay of her hand today.*

"You can crush those you want at a whim." *With that said, the last loud crunch was heard as the head of the man lulled sickly to the left hand side. His tongue hung out of his mouth and his eyes were frozen in a glance of horror.*

"THIS is what the Force is to you."

*She turns around and walks towards him looking into his eyes.*

 

[Ser Yorick]

*His eyes shone bright, red-gold. He looked directly back into her eyes and had no look of fear or surprise, he expected this type of display, to show him what she meant*

"The power to kill at a whim? Cravable of course, but I sense a weakness, to kill without question of morale? Absolute power corrupts absolutely, I understand your reasoning, but I do not agree with the total package, I may need a little more convincing than a simple display"

 

[Lillianne Crasse]

"There is no other way. IF you want to be trained by me, you will do as I ask and not question me. is your cowardance finally showing itself? Showing that you're not nearly the man to handle this path or control your own desires?"

*She laughed at him.*

 

[Ser Yorick]

*He frowed as she laughed, anger growing inside him, it showing in his fiery eyes*

"A coward? I just questioned you, surely you understand that eitherway, if you teach me or not I will continue my fall in darkness. There is much you can teach me, and I am no coward. I will follow you without question"

*Inside a fire was burning, it always happened when he was angry. His eyes always gave away his emotions, burning with a different level of intensity*

 

[Lillianne Crasse]

"A fool can ask questions and try to learn things. A true learner, will meditate upon what they learn and know when to be silent and when to speak. You think I don't know what is at your heart, Lu? I know better than you what creeps through your veins. You haven't even begun to control it. You think you're in control now, but in battle, you will fall without my guidance."

 

[Ser Yorick]

*He stood there a moment, looking deep within himself for the answer to his own questions, he knew she was right, but he didn't want to admit it. He was too proud, too cocky to take someone else's advice, but at least he realised this fault*

"Control... What is control exactly? Knowing what you can do and making a rational decision? If thats it, then your right... I am not always in control, I act with brash irationality, without any regard for myself or anyone else"

 

[Lillianne Crasse]

"It is time you fully understood the path you so long ago agreed to walk down. It is time to learn the ways of the Dark Jedi and how to harness the power the Force brings to you. Listen carefully to my words and meditate upon them. In time you'll understand.

There is no peace, there is anger.
There is no fear, there is power.
There is no death, there is immortality.
There is no weakness, there is the Dark Side.

[Ser Yorick]

*Lu fell inside himself and let the Force flow into his mind as he listened to heare speak the code of the dark jedi. He let the words soak into his thoughts and memories, diggint itself into the core of himself. With his eyes closed he stood there. When she was finished, he opened his eyes slowly and and spoke quietly*

"I will take this code to heart"

 

[Lillianne Crasse]

OOC: I'm gonna be harder on you than the others. We'll start with the hard stuff and move from there.

*She smiles at him and his words. His devotion would soon be complete.*

"What is it that you hate, Lu?"

 

[Ser Yorick]

*His eyes burned bright with this question, it was obvious to any who knew him that he hated his past and his time spent with the jedi*

"What do I hate? I hate the Jedi, they twisted my mind as a child and tried to turn me into a peace loving, self absorbed pacifist! They are still doing it to other young ones, telling them their lies, making them believe that the jedi are protectors, it's dispicible and I hate them"

*He was shaking with emotion, not being able to handle reliving the memories of his past and of the lies fed to him*

ooc: your gonna go harder on me? sounds good...

*Her smile deepened as she walked behind him and leaned close to where her voice was like a whisper in his ear.*

"Good. Focus on that anger....let it feed you and reach out to the Force around you. Pull the life force from from it and fuse it with that hatred...."

 

[Ser Yorick]

*He shook more violently as she spoke. The Force was a whirlwind around him, gathering like a breeze then strengthening as he conentrated on that hate inside him. His eyes lost all expression and went dull. All of a sudden, the wind stopped, all was silent except for Lu's heavy breathing as his chest went out and in, out and in. The room became filled with noise, objects exploding and flying, the candles flickered and went out, wick slapping against his skin on his arm, burning it*

*As she watched him, she spoke softly to get him to focus harder. Focusing the energy he was pouring through himself to the Force, she waited for the inevitable...a small spark or tendril of force lightning.*

 

[Ser Yorick]

*The room shuddered with virbrations through the Force being sent outward from Lu. His hands shot up and from his finger tips dark energy gathered, building up slowly... he built up to an extent where it lashed out into lightning and sparked against the wall he was facing. Lighting up the room with a bright bluish purple as the lightning grew stronger and more ferocious*
