Dewbecca sat in the middle of the large courtyard on Ossus, the sun beat down onto his fur as he looked up into the wonderful site off the sun. This was a place to be a peace but Dewbecca could find no real peace with what he knew.

And what he would have to do, he knew the time to act had come and the jedi as a group and a people were at the brink off something terrible yet unfortunately this was the onl way to ensure the jedi would continue.

Master Anaru Orouen walked in slowly upon hearing the call. Times were rough and the jedi had been summoned. So, as soon as he had heard the word the young master had scurried on down to the courtyard. He would find a way to help out if he could, but he wasn't sure what he could do to help.

After all, this was his first official jedi council meeting and it was awkward for him. But he took a seat next to Master Dewbecca and said "It's been a long time since I've been called to talk to you. Last time the conditions weren't good at all. I hope they're slightly better this time?"

Asked Anaru with a slight grin.

Jacen Kando, jedi knight, walked into the sunlit courtyard. The sunlight glinted off of his silver hair and ice blue tunic. He solid silver eyes roamed the courtyard. While some made assumptions he was old and blind because of the silver hair and eyes that was incorect, he was actually rather young and had perfect vision, those were gentic traits he got from his ancestory which was.....mixed. He walked in front of Dewbacca and, still the soldier, snapped to attention then went to one knee and bowed his head,
"I have come as asked Master Dewbacca, it is an honor to be in your presence."

Wrath. An emotional response frowned upon by the Jedi. Chester Ducere had learned this very early as a Jedi; it was one of the first things he had ever learned. Even now, as a Jedi Knight of the Order, Chester zealously held true to the teachings of his Jedi Masters. But this was an age of tumultuous violence; such acts of retaliatory rage might not be avoidable for very long.

The Human Jedi Knight lingered around one of the many colonnades that encompassed the Jedi Temple. He scanned the vast courtyard to find out where the other Jedi were gathering - with his eyes and the power of the Force. Spotting Grandmaster Dewbecca and a few other notable Jedi, Chester Ducere stepped out and headed for them.

Chester had forsaken his traditional Jedi robes for a flamboyant red vest and dark blue - almost violet - trousers made of expensive cloth. Along his waist was a leather traveler's belt, where his lightsaber - the weapon of a Jedi - rested patiently, not eager to be awoken and incited to attack. His dark blond hair was combed prim and proper; if this was an official meeting, he wanted to look as presentable as possible.

Finally, Chester Ducere arrived at the meeting place. Nodding toward the other Jedi that had arrived thus far, the Jedi Knight bowed curtly to the Grandmaster of the Order. Now was not the time for pleasantries; the Council did not call these types of meetings unless it was of the utmost importance.

"Master Dewbecca. I am Chester Ducere, Jedi Knight - the pleasure is all mine," he insisted. He acknowledged the other members of the Council before stepping back and heading toward the crowd of Jedi that was assembling behind him. Things were about to become interesting.

He was a bit nervous about this. It was a little too convenient a time for Master Dewbacca to be calling this meeting; it was only days before that Haar felt something happening off-planet. Haar approached the courtyard with his hood raised over his head. The padawan was not trying to hide anything, other than his unnaturally green-tinted hair. The attention he garnered through his hair bothers him.

However, Haar was sure that some of the attention he got was because his first teacher was the ex-Jedi Amaterasu. He still defends his first master, as a teacher rather than as a Jedi. She had her reasons for leaving, and Haar had his reasons for staying.

Two lightsabers hung at Haar's belt, signifying the padawan's preference for dual-weapon combat. His skills in the use of the Force is lower than the average Jedi at his level, but Haar made up for that with talent in the ways of the blade.

He gave a bow to the council members present once he arrived, refraining from speech. Saying something is nice and all, but the words are a bit redundant to hear numerous times in a really short period of time. Haar stepped aside and waited patiently for the meeting to begin.

Jedi Knight Vol-Ja Khan Zavos came to the courtyard, merely bound to Master Dewbacca. He then took a seat on a bench, not saying a word, for there were none to say. Vol-Ja had been asleep for far too long, and needed to listen, not speak.

OOC: Alright, haven't done this in a while. Sorry for shit post.

Od'xai headed to the courtyard as soon as he heard about the meeting, still fairly new in the Order and eager to learn what he could do to help. He was dressed as usual in his plain brown robes, with a black belt holstering his lightsaber. The sunlight was strongly reflected off the albino Devaronian's paper white flesh, and it glittered on his ivory horns.

Reaching the group of Jedi presided over by Master Dewbecca, Od'xai bowed to the Wookiee Grandmaster and sat down in the grass.

Jedi Knight Koran Mak walked into the courtyard, this time, unlike when he was at missions or adventuring on his own, he wore the traditional jedi robes. His lightsaber hung from his belt and he kneeled before Dewbacca and the other jedi.

"Greetings, everyone. The name is Koran Mak, for those who don't know me. I have been away from the temple for quite some time. I came here because all the Jedi were summoned. I wonder what is going on."

After speaking he stood up and took a seat, he remained silent and waited for the other Jedi to show up and the Grandmaster to speak.

Ossus was the feeling of home for Krisa. So long she'd spent across the galaxy in various states, on various missions, with various people. Despite being from the core worlds herself, Ossus felt like her true home. Going back to Coruscant had too many painful memories for her. Even now the sight of the crashed shuttle with her parents dead bodies inside caused her some considerable distress. But she'd been able to come to terms with her grief, to hold it at bay, and to keep herself in a sense of mental stability unlike those who all too often seemed to lose the whole idea of life altogether. Therefore, Ossus was her home, and it was good to be back. It had been raining when she'd first arrived back, a cool pattering on the paving stones of the Temple as the grey clouds above deposited their life giving mixture onto the flora and fauna of the planet below, yet Krisa hadn't minded; it was summer. And the rain never help supremacy on Ossus during the summer times. Krisa had returned, and it wasn't going to rain on her parade metaphorically as well as literally.

It was good to be back.

The summons had come shortly after the opening of her second morning back on the planet. Krisa had awoken reasonably early for one of the days she had solely to herself, at about mid-morning. She soon identified the cause as the mental tug that came with a summons on a scale that generally heralded the coming of something big, something large that the Jedi Order as a whole was required to convene on and discuss. Krisa had to shake off the feeling of foreboding as her memory reminded her that the last time there had been something like this Edo Tesu had been killed and the former Grandmaster, Banik Kelrada, had fallen into a madness that she, even now, didn't know if he'd emerged from. She didn't even know where he was, to be fair, and very few did. But this meeting was sure to be different. This meeting would be different. Rising, Krisa made sure she was presentable and ready for what was to come, her feelings of anxiety being replaced on a degree by those of inquisitiveness.

What was this meeting going to be about?

Krisa emerged, blinking, into the sunlight that replaced the rain of the previous few days. Ossus seemed to come alive, to almost vibrate with life when the weather was like this, and Krisa smiled despite what she wondered. Her robes ready, clean, pristine, and her hair tied back in a silver clasp midway down her back, Krisa's lightsaber completed the image she gave off of being a competent Jedi. Now she was ready for whatever this meeting would throw at her. Starting off at a brisk walk, Krisa made her way through the Temple, frowning at the lack of Jedi she saw. This must be a meeting on a large scale, a meeting that required a great deal of the more senior Jedi in the Temple, like herself, and others besides. The courtyard, as she'd thought, was beginning to fill, the large form of the Wookiee Grandmaster Dewbecca filling the centre. Krisa made her way over, moving her way through the gathering multitude of Jedi to stand somewhere nearby.

To stand nearby and await the start.

Galykia quietly entered a courtyard filled with other jedi. He recognized only one of them, Dewbacca. He approaced the wookie and gave him a bow before he began to approach a small bench. He sat on it and absorbed Ossus's sun shine wwaiting for the get to gather to begin.

Jedi Knight Rain Adler stood quietly, trying to ignore the beams of sunlight that pounded on the back of his neck and the ones that reflected off the bald head of the man infront of him.

"Hello, the majority of you have arrived that are on Ossus, there is a link up with the entire order that are off world. Normally I would call a order wide meeting but this was far to important to wait.

Dewbecca paused for a moment, deep in thought on how to word the thigns going though his head but to hell with it, be bold and tell them the whole truth.

"Two days ago Master Katu and two his his former students were murdered by Ospion members"

Haar frowned at this revelation. Amaterasu had to be involved in some way: there was no other explanation as to the feelings he felt back then. As several murmured amongst themselves, Haar pulled his robes tighter around himself, as though to keep something out. He waited patiently for the grandmaster to continue.

Koran listened as the grandmaster spoke. After he was done speaking, Koran's eyes widened. He was shocked. He did not know master Katu nor his students personally, but they were jedi like him. He was sorry for the loss.

He remained silent. He did not know what to say and he felt like being silent. It was not the moment to interrupt the grandmaster, or at least, he thought. He looked around the courtyard to see the faces of the other jedi. There was a young padawan among them who pulled his robes tighter.

It was a shock.

He looked back to the grandmaster, waiting for him to continue.

Jacen was taken aback at this news. He hadn't heard anything about this and as he wasn't the strongest of jedi in the use of the Force he hadn't felt anything. His face betrayed no emotions, a token of his upbringing as a stoic warrior, but his minds reeled, wondering what the Jedi order would do about this......terrible deed.

Javiik Valivin raced toward the Ossus Temple's courtyard. He'd heard that the Grandmaster had called the Jedi together for some reason. He didn't know what, but he doubted the Grandmaster would arrange such a meeting unless it was for an important reason. Javiik made it inside, seeing many of the Jedi presently on Ossus already assembled.

Moments after his arrival, the Grandmaster spoke of the grim news. Javiik felt a sudden impulse of anger. It wasn't only because the lives of two Jedi were taken, but it was because they were taken by their former brethren. The so called Opision "Guardians", who were no more than misguided heretics, were now murdering the Jedi.

"Master Dewbacca, this is unacceptable!" said Javiik in frustration. He closed his eyes, calming himself down. His anger had gotten the better of him in times past, and he wasn't going to repeat his mistakes. "Please, forgive me for my outburst, Master. I apologize." said Javiik, regaining his calm and demeanor. Now, all he could do was wait, wait and hear the Order's decision regarding such an event.
_______________

Athena stood in the courtyard of Ossus. Dewbacca, the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order, had summoned the Jedi for a meeting. The reason was unknown, but Athena was concerned there were some Jedi that were requested to listen through communications. That boded ill, as it usually implied the information was too urgent to await the arrival of all the Jedi.

Finally, Grandmaster Dewbacca made the dismal announcement. Athena sighed, knowing that such an occurrence was bound to happen. Sentient beings who were sensitive to the Force that collected themselves into an organization often found themselves in conflict against those with opposing views. Ironically, even more so against those with identical viewpoints.

"Master Dewbacca," inquired Athena, "Do you possess any additional information regarding the cricumstances of death of Master Katu and his former apprentices?"

Colm stood silently by, he had heard the story. "Silence!" He called over the crowd, he expected more from the Jedi, but it appeared they were restless.

Then he heard the question from the young Miraluka, why do they always ask questions? Why are they incapable of silence? His thoughts were not seen on his face, his reaction would remain his.

Devaronian facial features, from their mouths full of sharp teeth to the long curved horns that protruded from their skulls, were described by many in the Galaxy as 'demonic' or 'devilish'. Od'xai's face was usually a stark contrast to this - despite the eeriness of his albino flesh and dark red eyes, his calm and patient demeanour made him seem the opposite of a demon. But at the moment Od’xai heard the Grandmaster describe the crime that the Ospion Guardians had now committed, the young Knight's face was contorted in a snarl of rage and he shook as he struggled to contain his emotion.

"Something must be done..." he murmured quietly, fists clenched in the grass as he turned his eyes down in anger and uncertainty.

Rain bowed his head sighed. His first reaction to the news was sadness. Any death was sad, but the death of a Jedi was even worse. As this thought passed through his mind, a new one entered. If a Jedi Master could be killed without the majority of the Jedi knowing, what would that mean for the less experienced Knights and Padawans?

The thought began to sink through Rain's entire body, it stung at him like winter chill, a stark contrast to the cheery sun and breeze around him. It felt like someone had replaced his blood with ice water.
