Sweat started beading on Corron's head from the strenuous effort but he redoubled his efforts. Ignore his master's grip on the rock. Okay, he should be able to do that. Corron imagined the rock simply floating in mid air and grasping it with the roaring river of the Force again pulled both his hands backwards in a quick and sharp motion to try to yank the rock over to himself.

The rock sat their motionless for minutes, then will sudden unanticipation it moved. Yes, it moved quite fast, well faster than expected. Slipping from his grasp and sailing directly for his padawan, and hopefully for his hand and not his head.

"Very good. Now, tell me the Jedi code again..."

He Paused turning to look at the city once again.

"Now I want you throw the rock at me, though not with your hands. But with the force."

He made no attempt to turn around.

Corron opened his eyes to see the rock hurtling towards him. He gasped and putting up his hands caught it before it could slam into his head.

"The Jedi code...

ummmm

Emotion, yet peace
Ignorance, yet knowledge
Passion, yet serenity
Chaos, yet harmony
Death, yet the force
"

Following this he used what he had done to grab the rock and instead envisioned the rapidly swelling river to pick up the rock in it's might current and carry it swiftly along towards the brown robed man with his back turned....

He would not look, this was simply to prove a point, as the rock was swiftly caught and redirected towards Makal. Just as it sailed forwards, inches from the back of his head. The Jedi Knight ducked, his right arm slung upwards grasping the rock mid-air. Just as it would pass... Though he came to a stand once again.

"Very good, now do you know how i did that? I sensed where you would attack me before you did it. This is called precognition, we all possess it, some better than others. You were learn in time how to use this ability as well, you must if you are to ever weild a lightsaber. Now that we have mastered one, how about we master many......"

He tossed the smooth stone high into the air, suddenly, several pebbles came to levitate as well, twelve or so, each now maintaining the same altitude.

"Deflect them all at the same time and redirect them, back towards me.. Lets play a game, though not with our hands but with the force. Remember, do not let their quantity overwhelm you, just as you should not let you enemies ethier...."

With that each shot off with surprising speed directly for the padawan, each coming in at a different direction. Large enough to bruise, or cause some deal of pain, if they were to get through.

Corron stared wide eyed at the pebbles that were now levitating around him.

"fierfek" He whispered under his breath.

He manged to catch two that were coming straight at him and redirect them but then the rest slammed into him. He yelped and clutched his side were the biggest of them had slammed into his rib.

"What the hell?! That hurt!"

Makal turned around. Then knelt upon the ground, calm and at peace.

"Chaos, yet harmony, concentrate, do not let them overwhelm you, you must encase yourself in the force. Like a protective layer, do not think just. Anticipate... Know... Do not think.. Again!"

His voice snapped.

Another dozen or so seemed the lift into to air just as fast as the last, quickly accelerating and moving into position. Barreling forwards towards the padwan from a different direction entirely this time.

Corron growled and looked around him. It was hard to get them when they were all around him, so he would need them all in front of him....but how to do that? An idea struck him like lightning from the heavens. When the pebbles came flying at him he dove backwards and rolled to his feet so that they were all in front of him and concentrating hard simply pushed everything in front of him forward towards his master.

"And now the crush."

Makal Muttered, arms outstretched to ethier side, a right hand shot outwards, the fingers curled inwards as if to squeeze. Then literally within moments they had become dust, crushed to near oblivion. Harmlessly they rushed past him, clouding his obstructing his sight momemtarily.

"Not only may the force be used for offense, it may be used for defense. Try to crush a rock with you hand. It will not work, try crush a rock with the force, it will. The force lies beyond physics and the mere sciences of the galaxy. You did well... Now I have a question to ask you.... Though I will not speak with my lips nor will you respond with your lips..."

Makal closed his, eyes now lost in his pondering. Trancfering a vivid message, using his mere thought. This would be view like a powerful impression or memory to the padawan.

'The color is red.'

Corron felt the impression of the mental thought enter his brain.
He took an involuntary step backwards at the sudden intrusion but then steeled himself and pictured the color being returned across the gap between them to his master's mind.

"Good, the color is red."

Now he steped forwards, taking a deep breath inwards.

"I have an assignment for you. Visit the Jedi archives I want you to review the six lightsaber forms and choose one for yourself that you would wish to learn. Study your code and return to this place in the morning, you will find fresh padawan robes inside of your quarters. Here at the monastery. You did a good job today, young Corron."

The master then fell into simple meditation. Inhaling and exhaling, each palm rested upon a knee. As he fell into utter harmony with himself.

Corron turned to leave before stopping.

"Must I wear the robes provided? My mother spent her time to make me a pair of robes as a gift to me before I left. And I would prefer to wear those if I may."

"Yes you may, if those are what you choose to wear. If any others have a problem with that, just direct them towards me."

With that Makal commenced his meditation.

"Thank you"
Corron bowed and walked out. As soon as he was out of hearing he groaned in pain and clutched his ribs were the pebbles had hit him.
"Kriffin' guys gonna kill me before this is done he said as he hobbled down the cooridors. He finally got to the archives and booted up a computer and searched for lightsaber forms. He apsently browsed through them...none of them seemed right somehow except for one that seemed to leap off the screen at him...Makashi...elegant, smooth, graceful. He grinned and turned off the computer.

He followed the direction he had been given to his room and threw himself down onto the cot. As he did he felt a poking in his side. He reached down and pulled out the training saber. He activated the blade and a long blue shaft extended out. Eh, it would do for now.

He laid it down next to him and pulled out his datapad which he then wrote down the code on and the explanations that had been given to him. He then put it down next to him and closed his eyes to go to sleep.

The next morning Corron woke up as the sun was just cresting the horizon.

"Fierfek! I'm gonna be late!" Corron cursed as he got up.

He struggled out of his normal clothes and pulled on the robes his mother had made. He strapped the utility belt on, not bothering to take off the blaster pistols. And clipped the lightsaber on. He pulled the hood up over his head and then took off at a sprint down the halls to were his training had proceeded the day before...

Makal was knelt as if he had never moved from that spot since him and his padawan had parted. In deep meditation, the Coruscanti sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon, filling the sky with a deep purple and blue haze. The master sent a strong mental impression to the student, to hone his telpathic abilities.

'Join me in mediation, have you decided on the lightsaber form you would like to be trained in Young Padawan. Answer me the same, there will be no words this day.'

Then he simply retracted back towards his meditation. Breathing in deeply, and exhaling through his mouth. Knelt in a bed of petals.

Corron skidded to a stop amid the swirling petals on the gently breeze. He recieved the telepathic communication and tried to respond in kind. It was crude but conveyed the message of
"Form II, Makashi"

Deep inside Corron knew that all this training would make him a good jedi. But he was wondering when he would actually get the chance to really go out and DO stuff....

He also conveyed a simple message, 'ignite you saber do as I do' Makal pulled out a different hilt this time, a shiney one similar to Corrans. The blade came to life with a hum, a radiateing blue.

The saber was held in one hand, then brought up vertical directly in front of the his face, as he finished in a doward flourish-- the blade now held parrael to his arm. The lightsaber hilt was held with the thumb pointing down the length of the blade. The rest of his fingers wrapped around the hilt holding it securely.

'This is Form II's stance, do so now, now I want you to concentrate just like you did with the rocks and anticipate my attacks. Though follow your instinct, block with your instinct."

Makal stepped forwards the blade extended within the grasp of his right hand. Fluidly he took two steps forward, in a quick flourish the blade thrusted and swiped towards the padawan.

Corron retrieved his own saber and imitated the grip and salute. He was just starting to feel comfortable with it when his master attacked.
"STANG!" Corron shouted as he clumsily swept the incoming blade off to the side by bring his lightsaber around from the left side of his body in a crecent to sweep the opposing blade off to the right.

Makal tightened his grip, upon the hilt.

He had anticipated this maneuver, simply dropping his saber below the padawans, he brought it upwards thrusting to the right in a clock-wise motion. The movement was fluid and well thought out, a maneuver that was used to simply take your opponents hand clean off. Though in his case deliver a well deserved zap.

The blade connected solidly with Corron wrist and he yelped, dropping his training saber to the petal covered floor. He rubbed his wrist as he picked it up.

"So, I guess I need to work on it a bit right?" He said with a cheeky grin as he reactivated the lightsaber. He gave the same salute and brought the lightsaber down in a straight line from his arm in readiness for another attack.

"Padawan the Makashi Form takes no effort. You flow as if in a dance, a saber form that can be easily replicated while only using one hand. You use your opponents power against him. You have reach, you have agility...."

The kinght ignited his saber once again, the familar green glow filling the room. As he assumed the ordinary Makashi stance, the blade held within the confines of his right hand. The lightsaber hilt was held with the thumb pointing down the length of the blade. The rest of his fingers wrapped around the hilt holding it securely.

"Let go of your fears, for that is a way of the darkside. Calm your mind, act upon your instincts, do not think padawan! Do!"

Abruptly his legs shuffled forwards in unison, the blade arched, then quickly changed directions swiping downwards upon the padwan. Then with a quick flick of the wrist it morphed into a thrust now aimed upon scewering the young boy. Training had commenced...
