Taking a step back, he still would not ignite his lightsaber. There was enough room between them, as the lightning coursed through the stalker's blade only to snap at the walls surrounding her. Teferrus held a safe enough distance, though ready to raise his guard should he require it.

"And what if, for the better, we'd not kill each other? ...To learn from each other, as equals?"

Teferrus still held that special thought hidden away, to make the ultimate sacrifice. Only time would tell, but he neither wished it necessary nor the outcome should he not perform this duty. Though it still was to be decided if such an act would prove beneficial at all. And so he would prolong the inevitable. It was almost written in stone. There would be a battle here today!

"Enough. Come do evil upon me and I shall on you. There will be no other outcome, there cannot be..." A single dash - thats all it would take with her force speed - to make it in front Teferrus unless he moved back as she moved forward. A blur of deep red shot backwards as she brought her lightsaber back then slashed it down and across towards Teferrus' chest. The sparks that had shot from her fingers still lingered. A stream of them followed behind her slashes blur. It would be 'unfortunate' if he would get stung by a few free flying bolts - which might give Demoly the moment of distraction she would need to attempt a fatal blow.

Simply sidestepping the slash, the Jedi lifted his saber to shoot up a green beam of light before his face that would catch any free flowing snaps of uncontrolled lightning. His time for talk would take a back seat for now, his blade would have to do the convincing for him. And so, Soresu was in effect; already he would employ the easy movements, and seek a proper opening to exploit.

When her opponent took a step to the side, Demoly gave him a smile. For her left hand now faced him whilst her body faced away. She let out a current of lightening from her left hand towards his feet. It snapped violently in the air as she turned to face him a moment after the attempt, her body and eyes glowed in the picture perfect moment - all her soft features showed in the brightness. Again, she let another half slash out towards him from above, uncaring that he was using Soresu.

Swirling down a green beam, his lightsaber swooped to follow the close current; swallowing the wild bolts into a rod of magnetic pull. As all other escaping jolts would miss Teferrus, he in turn would move just as his attacker did so - keeping the same angle of defense, she would not face him yet.

With a simple twist of his wrist, his lifting hand would lead his lightsaber to easily glide his attacker's slice off to the side and away from himself as he further made his way back and off her center. Having kept his off hand close to his solar plexus since duel's commencement, Teferrus had slowly began building an energy there; gathering his concentration in simple sidesteps, the Jedi thought to possibly need its aiding protection soon.

As her lightsaber had been deflected she quickly moved back into the "eye of the storm". Letting the full glory of her lightsaber form take flight - a barricade of ex crossing strikes towards him. As she did, she let the sparks continue free falling from her hands. She would attempt to wear him out as much as he would attempt to wear her out. A battle of the wills in this moment.

((Oh, I thought it was just fine. It made sense, though it's probably best that you edited cuz I had somethin devastating planned once I had a sec to post. It's all good! :)))

Following the momentum of the 'x', Teferrus waved out his sword just behind it's pair's motions. And when it was right, the green beam swirled around and over it's red counterpart to force it into the ground in contact; stabbing the red beam into earth: metal and rock, and with the parting of about four to six splits of lightning into the ground - a doubling amount of return strokes shot back up the beam and into the woman's hand, as Teferrus had only shoved her saber into the ground and released immediately into a slash straight across her right arm. He could have gone for a cut through her entire torso just above her lowered arms, but he only meant to disarm at this point - moving to burn a deep cut into her arm just below her shoulder. Along with this one horizontal slice, he'd move with it; stepping to the side in avoidance of any wild counter his challenger could muster in the shock of her own lightning.

((OOC: Oh ok, I really saw the distance as making it unable to work.))

The shock of her own lightening was enough to force her hand open, letting her lightsaber hilt fall to the ground. Then there was the slash and Demoly had no time to call on the force to recover her hilt, she bent her knees then pushed back in order to attempt a dodge - but in the middle of her dodge Teferrus' blade's end made contact with her, burning a scar into the top of her pale skin. With a scream her lips snapped as she grimaced stepping backwards in her pain.

"Bastard!!" With that, inside her a rage began to boil. The force swirled around her unlike before - something had triggered deeper power in Demoly - but she would need to recover her lightsaber to retaliate with it. How would the man deal with her reaction?

It was just as he foresaw. The storm would worsen before any attempt could be made to calm it.

Teferrus simply stood there, feeling her darkness swell with angered power. The quick and easy fix, this woman would not cool easily. Instead of reacting to this moment in action, Teferrus squeezed the hilt in his hand in time's healing of the slight pain in his fingertips from barely receiving a pop of energy from the clash of their sabers. And as he did so, he began stepping left; keeping a distance from both her and her saber, as he would not walk into any surprise attack of levitation in telekinesis. He just held out his lightsaber with a stern yet forgiving look. He wished only for her to find peace, but her outburst made him wonder if it was in his power to save her from herself?

"FIGHT ME!" She yelled in frustration at his reaction. Every moment passing her rage built and along with that her control was lost. Lighting struck out from her fingers instantly, some striking back at her, scaring her own flesh, she reacted almost numbly to it, for now. Stepping forward in her fit of rage her left hand rose to the air. The cackling and cracks of the lighting rushed forward in a storm at the Jedi. She would make up the distance in a shield of lighting around her. In her fit of rage she could see nothing but blood and the need to recover her hilt.

It was overwhelming. This girl had a great deal of power, and this inexperienced Jedi had only but one idea; as he had been storing up energy for a moment just such as this. With a twin effect in cooperative measures, Teferrus lifted his lightsaber straight up before his face and held his left hand just behind the middle of the green beam. With an absorbing of energy through the calming Lightside of the Force, his left hand sort of drew the thrashing bolts straight into his withstanding lightsaber. He stepped back slowly to cope, yet with each passing step he gained more control over what she could not. Soon the lightning would not even touch the green beam of energy, as his concentration slowly allowed him favor. The lightsaber beam simply acted as a filter, to allow him a slow build to control. And as he focused his basic level of absorption onto the tips of the ferocious lightning storm, he would be safer and safer; that is until she gained possession of her lightsaber again. Then he would sigh in displeasure of the darkness that he could do not but witness as it consumed her.

Reaching out again with the force this time she got a hold of her sabers hilt. It levitated to her in all the speed should could bring it to herself. As it came into her palm a crack could be heard, it would likely leave a mark for a day behind in the power she had brought it to herself. In all of this, she was taking damage from herself - how long she could hold this rage was still unknown, or if she could live through it very long. With a hop she sped forward to the Jedi to meet with him in combat - but instead of going all the way to him straight on, she side stepped to the right side of him in a blur of force rage enhanced speed. She passed his side and as she did she ignited her crimson blade and stabbed backwards with it - towards his ribs, ignoring the dangers of her move with the boost to her speed.

The blur was too much, and as such - Teferrus decided to keep his distance. As his attacker speed forward and passed him, Matt dashed forward as well. She'd stab empty air, and he'd most likely further agitate her. In the name of the Force, he'd wear her down to strike peace and harmony into her tired heart; the hardened shell weakened in overuse of its stressful harm. Passing each other, Teferrus turned with an ease of likeness to the peeling of page's turn through a book. Stepping slowly to calm his place, he'd await the girl's advance again; this time, gathering the Force to him preemptively. He had time on his hands, as she had come for him. Matt worried of greater threats than a straight forward confrontation, but that would have to wait as his concentration would need be kept here and now.

The dodge did further her anger. Demoly turned around to face her foe with one more technique she had yet to try on him. She wanted him dead so badly that even if she did not raise her hand as she walked forward for another attack it reached out for him. If he could not resist it, he would began to feel as if he was breathing fiery air. Her force power would crawl through his noise and lips to the inside of his throat. Inside it would take over, grabbing all it could then tightening it mercilessly, choking him. It would take time for it to happen, however. If he had resisted it then she walked towards him either way - with her lightsaber to her side she was ready to block or attack with a slash. However, along with this attack came more fatigue that was ever growing.

Not strong enough in the Force, Teferrus gave in to the attack's greater sting; yet not to lose the fight, he would attack from a distance to distract and sever her attack in motion.

Standing still, he'd grab a hold of the rubble on either side of the four way cross street that had earlier been collapsed by himself. He'd, without taking the time to lift them, slingshot each into hailing collision on either side of the girl; pulling in his hands to do so, his lightsaber would stay switched on and have been brought closer to his body in solid defense. The skull sized to the pebble sized rocks would rain out in bursting ammunition, though the tight enclosed space would limit the building force in acceleration. If only to cut her attack short in breaking concentration, Teferrus feared a greater need for partial retreat might be in order!

It did break her connection for her choking attack, but still in a fading rage her mood switched quite quickly. With a switching attention span to the incoming rocks and rubble she reached out to them, using the force momentum the Jedi had used already in oder to toss them towards her she used it against him, she continued their speed but redirected their path directly at the Jedi. If he wanted to play with force powers between them now would be the best time for Demoly to reply.

And with a coupling of his hands to his left, Teferrus spun counterclockwise as he forced all the rubble to his side and passed him; catching most of the projectiles in his pull as he whirled around to spit back the rubble again straight towards the girl.

With that her rage had faded back to herself. There where a few notable problems now; she couldn't use her right arm, the burn, the bruises all made it unbearable, she was tired and parts of her body stung from the shocks that had got her. As her hilt went out and fell to the ground she would summon it with the force to her left hand. Like any good swordsmen she could use both, but her right was her strong one. Demoly had never retreated before but if there was time to learn, now would be it. However, she still had her basic, albeit exhausted powers, and like any force user she pushed herself to the limits. Stopping the rocks that came her way she pushed them off to the side and took a few steps back. She would wait his move, expecting him to go for a killing blow, before she calculated a way out of this mess.

Now was the time. It may be to his detriment, but they both needed a rest and if she was to hear him he would try.

"It doesn't have to be like this!" He only shouted to be heard, feeling it difficult to project full sentences in his winded state. Though he clearly had not worn himself out as she did, his stamina outlasting hers twice over; but mostly because of her wounds. "I can help you?"

He stood, barely making any movement. He did not wish to seem sly with distracting conversation, nor did he wish to show an aggressive nature. His soft face, looked empathetic still; as his eyes connected with her arm burn for but a moment. Realized that might send the wrong message, he wished he hadn't done so.
