Corellia was exactly what he had expected it to be and, yet, also somehow precisely the opposite of what he had expected it to be. It was a weird concept but, like, he had expected it to be a melting pot of all kinds of cultures and peoples and it certainly was. But he'd also expected it to be ordered in a way that other Core Worlds were said to be - Coruscant wasn't ordered but that was because the former capital was a law unto itself.
But the rest of the Core and Inner Rim were supposed to be more organized and civilized but Corellia? Corellia reminded him of the parts of Coruscant that weren't more than a dozen levels down but still kind of a bit dodgy. Not as dodgy as they got further down but enough that you still had to keep one hand on your credits and the other on your blaster.
Rumour around the spaceport they'd landed at said that there was a guy around this market who sold old ships for cheap - sometimes even just for some work. They were going to be trash, naturally, but he wasn't above fixing up a junker to get what they needed. But he kind of felt like he needed someone with a level head to help him do the talking.
"Glad you stuck around Penny." he told his companion with a wide grin, "Talking to people ain' really a strong suit of a lot of our lil gang but I figured you'd be perfect to help out... also you're pretty cute so..."
He winked at her playfully as he led the way through the open-air market.
"Can you believe we're off Coruscant? Corellia even smells different!" he made a show of inhaling deeply, "Like... why the feck does the air smell of salt eh? What even is that smell?"
He'd never actually seen an ocean before after all.
