Kaz immediatly started to dig in to the meat and everything else there was.
''Oh man!'' Kaz yelled in full satisfaction. ''I havent eaten like this for a long time, Its times like these that make me want to stay here!'' And Kaz continued eating for a while and finally heard Hamaras request.

''Sure I'll come with you to the mid levels they really do have all kinds of stores there.''
''Id actully be delited to go down there, theres always some criminals to catch.''

''Oh and one more thing! Have neither of you actully ever been down there?''

On the contrary, Anner did not grab anything, she just merely stood there saying "no thanks" to the droid- Do they serve drinks here? -she asked to droids and people alike.

An eyebrow rised following Kaz last statement- Dude i just told you i was shot with a granade launcher at the lower levels... -she didn't comment on the jewelry, there were some legit shops there but they were considerably more expensive than illegal ones, and not just because what they traded was often the real thing, but also a big extra charge just because it was coming from a shop with a known name.

Dude i was shot outside a bar -added confused. Had he been listening to what she said? Or just pretending to do so? This was almost embarrasing. She then looked at Hamara, confused.

Hamara was elated by Kaz's response, he seemed to know his way around the Coruscant street levels, and she would be grateful for the company - and protection if need be, though with her training she should be able to handle her own. She noticed that Anner declined the food and surmised that she was full from her earlier meal, "I believe they serve refreshments...but not alcoholic beverages if that's your preference? I'm sure the nightmarkets have plenty of alcohol though", she replied casually to the Vahla. She laughed gently at Kaz's last few comments, "I'm hoping not to run into any trouble while we're down there...the midlevels are supposed to be a lot safer than the underlevels. I suppose however that crime is everywhere these days, just don't go looking for it Kaz'aia...I merely want to peruse the stores and return here in one piece, ok?". Hamara then glanced to Anner concerning her statement about the grenade launcher - "as long as we're careful, we shouldn't happen across any heavy weaponry, I hope...of course you're not obliged to come if you would prefer to stay here? But, I would rather like a female perspective on the markets, boys are hopeless at shopping", she shot a wry look at Kaz as she spoke and smiled secretly to Anner. The nightmarket expedition would certainly be entertaining.

I doubt anything blows up, but i was more concerned about the memory of Kaz'aia -every minute that passed by made her feel more confused, she just answered those questions before, or at least gave that information. Anner tilted her head a bit before replying to Hamara- I don't really shop much there, prices are too high, people are hypocrites, but thats just about everywhere -confessed with her small whine- Not saying they are mean, thats bad for business, all the contrary. -her vision of the galaxy was indeed a darkened one. She, as any other from her scarce race, had a conection with the dark side that could be felt easily by anyone who was sensitive to such things, but as a member of the Shade she didn't lean towards light nor dark. She was in the dusk.- I hope we can get by a bar then -added finally, showing that indeed, it was an alcoholic beverage what she had in mind.

''Whats that suppose to mean?'' Kaz asked in small anger. ''I have a great memory!''

Kaz checked his communicator once more and started doing something with it.

''Ah Hamara what day is it?''

Hamara noticed Anner's growing confusion, indeed their conversation had seemed to tilt towards bewilderment. She tried to draw the conversation back to something more linear, "excellent, then it is settled...after we eat, we shall venture on a little excursion to the Coruscant nightmarkets", she smiled with content and dipped some flatbread into her stew, taking several hungry bites out of it. The food was, as usual, delicious. She thought perhaps since they were going to the nightmarkets that they could have had dinner at one of the food-stalls, but she had to be frugal with what little credits she had.
"I might not necessarily buy anything, especially if it's overpriced...but window-shopping is just as enjoyable in my eyes. And once we're done at the markets we'll see if we can find somewhere for you to have a drink...", Hamara nodded to Anner politely. She herself didn't partake in the consumption of alcohol, feeling that it clouded one's thoughts and concentration. Sentients so often behaved in precarious ways after a few ales. She inclined her head to Kaz at his question, "umm, it is Centaxday I believe, why? Did you forget that you had to be somewhere?".
She gradually finished her evening meal and inspected the others, "I'm ready when you are".

The thing is... You don't realize it is overpriced until you have something to compare, and you won't find any significant difference until you start to go down -said, without realizing it could be seriously misinterpreted. Her arms crossed over her chest as she searched for a nearby surface to lean upon waiting for the two Jedis to finish their meal without hurry, until eventually Hamara was done with it, she looked to the Twi'lek then, who seemed to have an outdated communicator which was setting on the right date. She raised an eyebrow, looking at the individual with the great memory ask for the very day they were in, but said nothing on that.

Same -replied to the human and dropping her arms against the sides of her body once again, ready to walk once more. She tried her best not to make any ankward face gesture towards the latter phrase of the male Jedi, but couldn't help but look at him with some dismay. Why was she being like that still remained a mistery, but she felt compelled to get in as many troubles as she could. That is, before reminding herself she was in there to make a good impression and not to turn the city upside down for personal, selfish reasons.- I'll remember that if i get shot with a granade launcher again -added with a small smirk, showing a few pointy teeth.

It was a strange fact that a Padawan had a meeting with the council, and it surely was a big deal. The very same thought of that repelled her again, internally practicing her horror face once more. The Jedi were desperate. Council meetings were a strange thing to be granted, it had to be important, and not the "a friend has turned to the dark side" kind of important, because that was not important, they hid it with soft words, but that was what they meant, after all. It was not the kind of thing to asign someone a task, your master or equivalent would give it, or another one for that purpose.

Hamara stacked their empty bowls and plates for the server droids to collect and arose from the table, "We can get a shuttle from the hangars to take us into the city midlevels", she exited the refectory and headed down a wide and winding staircase that led down to the Temple's transport hub.
She turned to Kaz with an inquisitive glance at his mention of a meeting, "it must be something of great importance for the Council to summon you", Hamara had only had an audience with the Jedi Council a couple of times, when she was younger, to assess her progress and discuss her studies. They had been rather daunting occasions.
They arrived at the shuttle bay and Hamara boarded one of the air-taxis, taking a window seat so she would be able to look out over the numerous streets of Coruscant from the sky. She was excited for once, to be leaving the confines of the Temple, she was hoping to find all manner of exotic goods at the nightmarkets, and hopefully something would catch her eye to add to her small jewellery collection.

''Yeah it is important indeed.''
Kaz anwsered to Hamaras question.

''The council is debating who is going to be my new master or will I get one at all, I myself dont know do I want a new master or not.''

Kaz'aia's communicator went off again. Kaz checked the message and as Kaz saw the message he was taken over by horror, fear, sadness and anger.
Kaz was so horrified by the message his legs almost couldnt keep his balance.

Hamara simply waited for the other two to take their seats on the shuttle. It wouldn't be going anywhere until everyone was safely onboard.
She glanced to Kaz for a moment as he seemed caught up with his commlink device, he seemed to pale and his expression shifted to something alarming.
"Is everything ok Kaz'aia? You look like you've seen a ghost..."

''One of my friends is..... Maybe dead.''
That was the only thing Kaz could say before he went entirely numb from the shock.
He sat in his seat thinking how could have this happen How! Why!

"What do you mean? How can you be sure?", she felt terrible for her new friend, death was something that everyone had to confront and deal with in these turbulent times of war. She placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder, to comfort him.
She glanced momentarily at Anner who had seemed to be deep in thought with herself, and then turned back to Kaz, "do you want to talk about it?".

''Rather not''
To Kaz death was not an easy thing to deal with, first his master then a partner a friend and now another friend.

Kaz held his head with both hands and from the bottom of his hearth he yelled.

''WHY CAN'T THIS DAMN WAR END!!!!''

Hamara had never seen someone wail so angrily before, especially not a Jedi. She was deeply concerned for Kaz now, and glanced to Anner as if wanting her support somehow. "I...I'm so sorry Kaz'aia...I know death is a difficult thing for everyone, but you must believe that your friend has found peace, he is one with the Force now". She tried to assuage his grief as best she could. Jedi were taught from very young that death was only a gateway into returning to be at one with the Force, with the universe. They were taught not to grieve nor feel indignation towards loss and death, for such emotions could only lead to the Dark Side.

You think? -asked to Hamara without much trust in her words. In her book when people died, they died and that was the end, they became a corpse to feed the worms or star dust and kept serving the big life cycle of the universe.- Thats a nice way to deal with it, but the truth is: We're all going to die. That is what being alive is all about. If you get involved into a war the most possible outcome is to die a nameless exploded corpse in some far away planet, and you become a name in a wall, losing everything you have, everything you could have done, everything that once was dear to you, for the sake of someone else. Someone else that does not even care. Go ahead, say i'm wrong. All you get is a memorial once a year, your friends are sorry and all, your husband or wife too, but life goes on. They're not going to mourn you forever, or too long for that matter. Perhaps a month, but whats a month in an entire life? Nothing. And then your better half is shouting someone else's name in bed, your friends keep living as they always had, they're not going to turn their whole lives into holes of despair and regret because of that. Its not worthy.

Your friend knew what he was getting into, or else they lied to him, but ripping your eyes out of your sockets won't bring him back, and when the anger is gone you'll feel like an idiot. Trust me, i can tell.
-as she smirked and turned her head a bit, to show her eyepatch.- And if he was killed in battle, you'll never know who killed him, and you can't go on a rampage and kill everyone in the galaxy that seems suspicious, because you'll die before achieving your goal only to realise you've wasted your life for something pointless too. You're not the good guy pup. Everyone you kill in a war has a family, a brother, a friend, a son, a husband, they're not robots or empty shells. See that bounty hunter you just killed and feel badass about it? He was trying to bring money back home, maybe his kids will starve now, but you'll never know it. You don't want to know it. He was bad and thats all you need to know. Or most people at least. Same goes for all soldiers the republic is killing in battle, they're not the good guys, they have their moral, their beliefs, but thats about it. Everyone fights for what they think is right, everyone is the hero of their own book, the villains don't exist. The winner decides who's the villain and whos not, because he gets to write the story.

Hamara watched Anner as she spoke, and was in awe. There had obviously been a great deal of anguish in her life to take such a nihilistic and forlorn view of the universe. But it was her's alone to covet. The universe and its circumstances moulded the sentients that were dealt their different cards, that was true, but one could shape their own destiny, nothing was preconceived by the will of the Force, nothing of the future was set in stone nor was finite. "Your grim outlook on life is most unsettling Anner, your truth and my truth are obviously vastly different things, and like I said earlier, we are each allowed to believe in what we will, that is existence".She paused a moment, feeling a contention rise within her, and she calmed herself, "the object of war is not to die for one's peace...but to make the other unfortunate soul die for theirs". She couldn't comfort Kaz any more than that. He would have to find his own way through the affliction.
She had little more to say on the topic, they all most likely had conflicting views of death, among many other things. She almost resented Anner for seemingly colliding with everything they said. She seemed overly antagonistic about everything, with little common ground to be discovered. The Valha had obviously experienced things that had shaped her perspective of everything to be dark, and depressing, and lamentable. She felt sorry for the woman. She could never hope nor want to understand someone so utterly wracked with pessimism. Hamara was not going to allow the stranger to provoke her though. Hamara knew better than that, she was a Jedi. Differing beliefs. That is what truly made life what it was. Death was merely an afterthought, death was inevitable, but it was not the end in Hamara's eyes. She retreated into introspection then, this subject had dampened the spirit of the evening...she had been enjoying the company of her new acquaintances, despite their disagreements, and was anticipating an enjoyable evening in the nightmarkets. But now, Kaz had been delivered with terrible news, and their conversations had delved into melancholy depths. Anner seemed to relish her own sorrowful temperament, and Kaz was seemingly grief stricken. Hamara was at a loss for what to do.

"The object of war is not to die for one's peace...but to make the other unfortunate soul die for theirs" -she repeated. When those words reached their way to her ears, she couldn't help but giggle, and let out a lively laugh shortly after- That is one of the most sadistic things i've heard, and its coming from a Jedi -he expression was amazed, her eyes wide open, mixed with false dismay- Daaaaaaamn -said and laughed again, that was highly unexpected from her- Thats cold! If everyone's fighting for their peace, makes you wonder why do wars start, huh -added a short thought on the matter. They killed people for their peace, that was going into her journal for sure. Everyone killed people for "their" peace, Jedi were nothing from another universe. Nor was anyone she had ever seen, including herself. Everyone had their own justification, and they were all as pointless as only words can be. They all went for the same thing in the end.
