Almos blinked, his mind processing what his master said. After a moment of contemplation, he nodded, and stepped a few more feet away, getting a good distance. He then switched his lightsaber on, and assumed the Niman stance that he had learned yesterday, awaiting his master's attack.

Osman's trianing saber turns on, a green blade much like his own. He stands with feet relatively shoulder length apart, and his blade prepared. His mind turned into a eye, a eye of any storm. He prepared for the attakcs from Almos that would certainly come soon.

"Remember Soresu that I mentioned?"

He nodded, recalling all information that he could. He would have been a good fit for it. It was primarily defensive. Osman had also said that he would be a good fit for it. His thoughts on fighting were to play defensively until he could be assured a strike. Therefor, if master Osman used it, he was going to wait until Almos attacked, and then deflect his attacks until he could be assured a strike. Or, if he didn't he would start attacking as soon as Almos attacked, revealing the trick. That didn't make much sense though: What could he learn from a trick? Well, one way to find out. He would ask.

"A defensive form... do you use it?"

His stance maintained almost the same pose, shaking very slightly.

"Yes, it is my preferred form."

"I see."

Nothing else to say, then. Almos had two options, attack or defend. His opponent was best when he was on the defensive. Therefor, if he forced master Osman to attack, he would be, in the end, better off. Then again, given the fact that the possibility of him being a master had come up during some research, it was possible either way wouldn't work.

Well, obviously either way wouldn't work. But might as well go with what had the best chance, no matter how slim. He would wait.

"Alright then." Osman jumps into the air soaring into a spot near Almos' right side, his blade coming down in a definant arc to Almos' stomach.

Almos pivoted and backed away slightly, serenely turning to bring his downward slash against Master Osman's with the intent of knocking it away, while backing off. In his mind, he marveled at the speed in which the attack had come, in between the second before the next one.

Osman's blade was batted away, and he used the leftover momentum to swing around to attack Almos' back.

Almos used his own momentum to counter, allowing the blade to go down and come back up across his back twisting his arm to meet it, and then twisting his body the same way to untwist his arm, allowing one foot to slide into a new position, and suddenly he was facing Master Osman directly again.

"Very good." Osman's stance changed slightly and he was again in Soresu, whether or not Almos could tell the difference right now didn't matter.

In response to what his master said, Almos let out a breath he hadn't realized he had been holding in, his supposed serenity merely being his body going tense. He took a quick breath, and looked at Master Osman. Was he supposed to attack now? He had no plans to, but there wasn't much point in standing around, so he decided to ask.

"Should I attack now?"

He focused, unsure of how to approach. Well, there was only one way he really knew well. He decided to try and risk multitasking. He gathered up his conscious in the force, and shot a force push at Master Osman's legs, well simultaneously coming in a downward slash.

Osman jumped over the force push while simultaneously blocking Almos' slash. He landed solidly on his feet and stood awaiting another attack.

Almos wasted no time, immediately bringing his blade back up after bringing down, attacking again, while rising, planning to jump and knee him once he deflected his lightsaber attack. And if he dodged to the side, Almos would curl and roll defensively away, back to a decent distance. If he jumped back, he would complete the jump attack, and then work from there.

Osman stopped Almos' attack and to dodge the knee, he did the splits. While in the air, Osman was looking at Almos. When Almos landed Osman swiftly returned to his feet, prepared for another attack.

Almos grimaced, knowing that he had been too well evaded for his last attack to work, but having nothing else to do, and having no choice but to attack, he pressed it, bringing his lightsaber back down, using the downward momentum and the force to imbue his blade with an unusual amount of force. At this close range, the best he could hope for was to take Master Osman by surprise.

Osman's blade hands were strong, but this attack from Almos was slightly surprising. He hadn't expected something this powerful from him, all that weight lifting must have helped. Osman stopped Almos' attack, pushed it back a little. His eyes were still calm, and his intentions were still plain. He would wait until Almos tired, showed a weakness, or quit.

Almos landed, and jumped back, thinking carefully over what he could do next. Direct attacks were useless. His physically strongest attack couldn't get through his defense, nor could a repeated volley of attacks. And the force push he tried had failed miserably as well. What else was there? He would have to try something more unorthodox.

He closed his eyes, meditating for a moment, and then opened them again. They had become clear and calm, and his breathing had returned to normal. he would wait a minute, to see if Master Osman would attack again. If not, he would try something else.

Osman stood perfectly still, expecting a attack. For a minute or two the duel was just a standing game. Then he jumped. Osman jumped right above Almos and sent a Force Push at him when he was roughly a foot behind Almos.
