He blinked, and suddenly Master Osman was above him?! He spun around, only to suddenly feel a wall of force, blasting him back. He went flying, traveling a couple feet before landing on the ground, keeping his lightsaber between him and Master Osman only to make sure he didn't stab himself on falling. He didn't bother looking up before, rolling a bit, and then springing to his feet, using the force to allow himself to do so. He landed shaken, however, and unsteady. An attack with the force had thrown him off guard considerably.

"Always expect someone to attack with all their weapons at one time. It is what allows me to get away from lightsaber and force attacks." Osman stood and waited for Almos' next move.

Almos nodded, taking in those words. Use all available weapons. What else was in the room? All there was were training mats, so at to not injure anyone else. Ah, there was one other thing. Alright, worth a shot.

Using the force, he lifted up the briefcase that the training saber at come in, and shot it at his master, with as much force as he could manage behind it. The minute he encountered any kind of resistance, he would let go, and simultaniously attempt to pull out the mat beneath Master Osman with the force. If he jumped, which was highly likely given how many times he had jumped previously, he would lift one end of the mat up as fast as he could to intercept and entangle him in the air. If that worked he would charge, although he wasn't sure if he could do that much fast enough for things to be effective.

Osman ducked underneath the incoming briefcase, and felt the mat tugging against his boot heels. Almos had taken his words to mind. Osman decided to roll with the mat and when it stopped moving he was on his knees in a defensive stance.

"Thinking outside the box, very good Almos."

Almos nodded, smiling slightly at the praise he had been given. Still, he wasn't done yet, he still had ideas, mainly in the patch of floor that had been revealed by the movement of the mats he had created. He calmed himself, allowing himself to flow through the force, trying to use it to understand better what he should do next. About a second's worth of meditation confirmed what he thought, and his eyes narrowed in focus again.

He shot forward, spinning his lightsaber in his hand a couple times to build momentum with it. Then, as soon as he was close enough, he spun his lightsaber close enough to the floor to create sparks, and then used the force to lift them, making a spray in the general direction of Master Osman. Immediately following that spray was his blade, with a reasonable amount of force behind it. His footing was also on the solid ground, opposed to the recently moved mat; when Master Osman countered the plan wasn't to outpower him, but simply to generate enough force, with the aide of the Force, to shove the mats, causing him to either lose his footing or become disoriented. In theory, anyways.

Great, Osman thought. As sparks went up to Osman's face he rolled to the side. When the training saber came back around to His body, Osman stopped it. Ofcourse the extra force that went through forced Osman back farther away. Some way or another Osman's feet were just right, allowing him to push up and do a back flip to still be facing Almos.

"How excellent. You are becoming a excellent swordsman. That said, look where you are at." Almos had placed himself in Osman's old position, where the mats were twisted slightly. Osman picked up the edges of the mat with the Force, trying to make a 'picknick' basket.

He nodded in thanks again, before immediately returning to the task at hand. He was trying to curl the edge of the mats to ensnare him. He decided not to bother using the force to fight against it, knowing his master would be able to out-power him. Instead, he decided to jump backwards, using his lightsaber to cut a path through the mats, landing on a patch of regular floor, and readying himself for whatever was next.

Osman jumped up to Almos when he saw how he was getting through the mat. He landed on Almos' left, making Almos between Osman and the mats. Osman brought his sword up to slash downwards from left to right.

Almos twisted to face his foe directly, using a swift downward slash as a form of parry, while twisting his body to the side to avoid the force of the attack. Then, with a swift motion, he changed the direction of his blade and brought it back up to either parry the next attack or make a light cut, while stepping away into a more defensive distance.

Osman jumped back, his lightsaber in his left hand. Almos' reverse nearly got him, but Osman held himself together. He brought his light saber across evenly and pushed with the Force at the same time.

Almos tried to block the attack with another downward stroke, while using the force to imbue him, but after a second of struggle he was overpowered, the force breaking through and sending him back a couple feet, landing on his back. He let out his breath, sighing, aware that in real combat he would have already been stabbed for staying immobile for so long. After a couple seconds or so of effort, he would roll, and stagger to his feet for another bout, if Master Osman didn't stop him first. He was tired. Sure, he could keep going, but for how much longer he wasn't sure. Still, better to go until he couldn't move at all, and get the most of out of the experience.

"Almos, this will continue till you wish it to end." Almos had taken to this form very well, inf fact, a bout or two more and he would be skilled. Osman walked toward Almos, wary of a trap, his blade at the ready.

He nodded, drawing a deeper breath, knowing that he couldn't continue fighting the way he had been, it was putting too much strain to keep up. But there was another way of fighting, wasn't there? He had only seen glimpses of it, but the force could guide his movements as well, instead of trying to constantly, logically work out how to beat his opponent.

He took another breath, allowing the air to refills his lungs slowly, and refill the oxygen in his body. Master Osman was approaching. He moved his arms slightly, and decided it.

"Once more, I think."

His stance suddenly became less rigid, more relaxed, and he held his lightsaber back to the proper stance. Would Master Osman attack first, or would allow Almos to attack?

Osman stopped just within reach of a lightsaber, and prepared for a coming storm. Soresu was the name, Osman was the game. He allowed the force to flow and control his breathing, and waited for a attack.

Almos breathed in, taking a small step forward and using another downward stroke. However, as soon as the hilt reached eye level he stopped moving it, instead allowing that motion to carry on through his hands, spinning his lightsaber so that only the tip was attacking.

Osman batted the lightsaber to the right and spun. His weapon went into a neat arc to Almos' torso.

Almos dropped into a roll, sliding under the glowing blade, twisting to do an upwards kick as soon as the blade was by, using his hand hands to steady himself and aim, specifically for the chest although he would be glad to hit anywhere.

Osman moved back a little bit, but the heel of Almos' shoes hit his sternum. He went off balance for a second, but corrected his mistake and contorlled himself.

Almos completed the pseudo-roll, back on his feet and turning to face his Master. He had hit him once the entire time, but at the start that had seemed like an impossible task. He breathed, and let some of his adrenaline drain from his body, relaxing. He was utterly exhausted, and slowly collapsed onto the floor, breathing deeply, bowing his head. He could, theoretically, keep going. But he was exhausted, and knew that if he had kept it up much longer, he would be sore in the days to come.

Osman deactivated his lightsaber.

"Almos, very good. This has told me more of yourself, and has brought you to the finishing line. I herebye promote you to the rank of Knight, to uphold peace and justice in the galaxy." Osman bowed to his former padawan. "I suggest you get some sleep, Knight Almos."
