The training of Hawke Voddher

[Rev]

Rev nodded to Hawke giving him a smile of accomplishment. He knew what he was doing, not to add a twist to the exercise.

"Leap from the balcony."

Looking down Rev could easily see the drop was nearly five stories from the forrest bed. It would easily kill anyone who wasn't prepared for such a landing, it would at least break ones legs.

"Focus the Force at your feet and prepare your landing. I'll be there to guide you should you be incapable of such a feat, you may begin."

Without a thought Hawke started concentrating on his feet, almost immediately he felt the Force flowing through him. He jumped and flipped in mid-air, landing on his feet, in a crouching position. After a few second on the ground he jumped up and land safely on the ledge that the Master was still standing on.

Staring at Hawke Rev said nothing glad that his Padawan had accomplished the task successfully without harming himself. Thinking of another basic Force power Rev came to the conclusion that Force Sight would be a fair technique now.

"Have you heard of Force Sight?"

"No Master I have not, please teach me and give me your wisdom."

Hawke bowed, awaiting his Masters reply.

 

[Rev]

Smiling to Hawke the Jedi Master would speak to his knowledge seeking Padawan.

"Reach out through the Force, Hawke. Everything in this universe is connected to it, with this connection you can see when normally you wouldn't. In darkness, through walls, ever further distances. It is in a way like foresight only you must focus on the individual midichloreans within a being or object. Try it once, there is a Padawan a room over, tell me what he is doing."

Hawke started concentrating on the figure that his Master said was in the room. For ten seconds Hawke focused on the Padawans midichloreans and in a moment of clarity Hawke blurted out ...

"Master the young Padawan is practicing his Lightsaber techniques."

 

[Rev]

Rev nodded Hawke seemed to get the hang of things. walking to the balcony he closed the door and sealed the windows with the respected shades. With a press of buttons on the wall the room was filled with darkness; not his own hand could be seen centimeters from his face, it was true darkness. Moments later tens if not hundreds of poles slide throughout the room making an almost maze that one would have to duck and climb over to get to the exit.

"Reach out and feel what is in front of you Hawke, navigate to the book case across the room. I will know once you have reached this position."

Closing his eyes he let himself reach out sensing both the poles and his Padawan within the room. Along with this he could nearly see the entire complex, focusing he would shut these out, only allowing himself to see the room as it would be through the Force.

Hawke knew he had to prepare for this task a little longer than the simple Force Jumps and the Force Sight. Closing his eyes yet again Hawke started to concentrate on what was in front of him at the moment. His saw a bar about shin height and the harder Hawke concentrated the more intune he became with the Force. Stepping over the first two bars and under the third, getting ahead of himself he almost ran into the fourth, which would have clipped his shins. Just sensing the bar he hopped over it, and then the sequence went like this over, under, under, over, under, over, over, over under and finally under once more before he reached the bookcase.

With a motion of his hand the bars seemed to disapear and the lights quickly snapped back on like lightning. Allowing his own eyes to focus the light he smiled at Hawke, he did quite exceptional on this task.

"Goodjob Hawke, you did quite well on this task. Perhaps Force Sight you have used before as you are getting a handle on it quite quickly. Now there is Force Speed. Have you ever attempted this feat?"

Hawke bowed his head.

"No Master I havent."

 

[Rev]

Opening the door to the training room he led Hawke out and to the beginning. It streched nearly a hundred yards down. Looking to Hawke he pointed at the end of the hall,

"Focus your energy to your legs and form itself. Use this energy to increase your capabilities in terms of running and speed. You will feel yourself running much, much faster. Give it a shot."

Motioning for him to try Rev sat back and waited.
