When the door opened and Jamall took a single step into his master's quarters, his ears were greeted with... Singing? 'I've never heard my master sing before.' He thought to himself, as he moved out of the way of the door and allowed it to slide shut behind him. As he wasn't really sure what his master was up to, or if he should further disturb him until he was finished, the cathar just sat down with his back to the wall next to the door, his datapad resting in his lap as he waited for his master to finish.

The enchanting song, and voice - echoed throughout the blank room, every object was going back to its position through focusing on single objects and leading them. His Padawan, was silent, respecting (or atleast it seemed so) that Koru was meditating, and singing the holy Phrase of an ancient Kanon, often sung by the holy Master of Order and his Sages, like the one that Arca was.
As his voice, shut and vanished in a few high pitched Tones he looked towards his Padawan.

"Greetings, My Child. It is indeed a late Hour, do you want to continue your training?Or why are you here.Anyhow, tell me what lays on your heart." ... the words were spoken friendly, and again, like he was his father, one of Korus many unique feats.

"Not much, Master. I was just curious, when will I be able to construct my saber? I know it's a minor matter, but I'm a feline. Curiosity is hard-wired into my mind. Anyways, I found some schematics for a saber that would fit into my hand. Would you mind taking a look at them?" Jamall asked, a slight chuckle escaping from his lips as he started to get up, so that he could walk over and hand the datapad to his master, only for a sharp pain to shoot up his right thigh.

He'd pulled a muscle while exercising. It wasn't a problem, with his natural healing ability it'd be back to normal by morning, and he had a high pain tolerance. So, instead of getting up, he stayed put and levitated the pad over to his master, allowing the device to hover right where Koru would be able to grab it without leaning.

"A quiet interesting schematic for a lightsabre... he said while his eyes starred serious on the blueprints They are... quiet magnificent.Truly... we could, build your Lightsaber tonight - but, how would think, of building your own unique one.
I could guide you, for you should design it yourself.Possibly, if you would like to - we could go onto a travel far beyond this planet, to Ossus.Where we could look into the Cave of Crystals, and search your own personal one?
" he asked his padawan.

His light brown skin shined a bit in the light.

It only took Jamall a split-second to make his decision. "That sounds great. Do you want me to schedule a shuttle to take us to Ossus in the morning?" He queried, as he forced himself back to his feet, ignoring the protests of his sore leg muscles as he rose to his full height and tried to keep an eager smile from appearing on his muzzle.

"I trust you in this one, my Child. Feel free to get us a shuttle for tomorrow - but for now, we should build the Hull of the Lightsaber..." slowly he sank to the clean ground, and stood up from his meditation stance."Without the hull, the Crystal has no hold, like we have without our training, or the force... because the force holds everything in its grip, my Child." he awaited his padawans response.

Koru looked at his padawan, still not wearing his cloak.

Jamall nodded, but paused and frowned. "I'll check with the Quartermaster, but I think the machine shop is closed for the night, Master. We might have to delay making the body of the saber." He replied, folding one arm across his chest and rubbing the back of his neck with his other arm. He then chuckled and grinned as he added in; "Not that it matters. Unlike Samanya, I couldn't machine something to save my own life." He added in. "Guess I'll have to learn though, right?"

"Hm... you missunderstood me.We do not need to go to the Workshop. In the time, my old Master gave me many parts, I kept those he left me when he died, my Child... you can build the Hull right now." he told his padawan, only to ask a question soonly afterwards. "Who is this Samanya... you mentioned?Remember, Jamall - you can tell me everything that lies on your minds.I allways have a open ear for you." his fatherlike voice spoke.

"Erm... Samanya." Jamall repeated quietly, slowly lowering himself back to his previous sitting position by the wall as he let out a deep sigh. He really had not meant to let his sister's name slip out. Nobody in the Temple knew of his sister, and he had hoped to keep it that way. But, now that he had let the proverbial cat out of the bag, he might as well fill in the blanks for his master. He did trust Koru Arca, after all.

"Samanya is... My twin sister." He replied, producing an archaic weathered photograph from a hidden pocket on the inside of his shirt and flicking it across the floor to Koru. The photograph was of his sister and himself, the day before her 16th birthday. "She was kidnapped by slavers four years ago." He explained, drawing one knee up to his chest and laying his arm across it.

"Let her go, my Child. For if you keep these feelings, you will fall to the dark side, and go ínsane and when meeting her, you will probably even kill her... my Child.Feelings are nothing you can avoid, they are coming with the ability of being a creature.Every creature feels it - but to control them, is also to understand the force and all around it - and this is one of the ideals of the Jedi, my Child."

Suddenly, Koru pulled silently a small crate from behind his bed and put before himself with a little, but hearable sound. On it, laid a roll made out of cotton-like cloth... which was then, placed and rolled on the floor - the crate beside it.
Arca sat down again in his meditation position, and waited for his padawan to sit down before him - and build the Hull for his lightsaber, which he shall remember till his death.

"Master, with all do respect..." Jamall replied quietly, his gaze tilted downwards to the floor immediately in front of him. "Just letting go of my only sister isn't something I think I'm capable of doing, no matter hard I try. But it's not something that will draw me to the dark side. Losing Samanya is what brought me to the Jedi Order in the first place. I don't want revenge on the slavers who took her, and I'm not angry or hateful, I just..." He sighed and ran one of his large hands through his raven black mane, as he tilted his gaze up to meet his master's. "I just want to do what I can to ensure that no-one else has to live through losing someone as precious as their sister. I know I can't protect the whole galaxy, but if I can defend just one family, just one, then at least I'll have done some good."

The young cathar's words were calm and sincere, only the faintest hint of emotions playing out across his face before he moved and sat cross-legged before his master and the arrangement of saber components laid out before him, and silently set himself to the task at hand while avoiding any thoughts of the aforementioned subjected.

"So you never told me your motive, my Child, but this, is unimportant. So remember, still - there is no good, nor evil, there is just the force, and the force is not your ally, nor your enemy. The force is what holds everything together, but is no God or Deity. The force... is the force, my Child.Remember this, and you shall be able to do what you are desire." he said with a glimpse of hope that his Padawan would understand the message "Leave yourself time, Jamall - choose the parts wisely to build yourself, your Lightsaber.Do not worry, I will guide you through building it, my Child, build it with your thoughts... build it with the force."

Koru's words were almost instantly committed to memory by the cathar, even though his focus was on the crafting of the lightsaber's hull. Soon, he simply closed his eyes, and used the force to reach out to and sense each individual component, as a cloud of lightsaber parts rose into the air and started dancing about, clicking together faster and faster as they were assembled, their pattern very similar to the lightsaber schematic Jamam had shown his master.

It took nearly an hour for the saber's hull to take shape, as the cathar padawan had a tendency to pause, partially disassemble the hull, and then reassemble it in a slightly different pattern, until the saber took on a somewhat lengthy and thick cylindrical shape, its hull composed of heavy case-hardened durasteel that was polished and reflective but as black as the depths of space with an equally dark and gently curving emitter shroud at the end, and covered with a rubber grip that would allow the cathar's large hands to properly grip the blade - which had been crafted to facilitate a firm two-handed grip that would both be comfortable and allow him to maintain a strong grasp on his blade to keep it from being knocked out of his hands.

An interesting side effect of its construction was that it was a little too large to be comfortably wielded by someone with smaller hands than he, like the average human, though that was of little concern to Jamall. It wasn't like he was going to loan out his saber. "Finished, I think. All that is left is to fit the primary crystal, and then I can adjust the focusing crystal assembly and fine-tune the weapon." He stated, dark brown eyes opening as the now-completed blade hovered between him and his master.

" Korus words, echoed throughout the bright room, being heard several times unlike normal.

The cathar nodded as he slowly rose to his feet, the hull of his saber drifting into his hands as he stood. "Goodnight, Master Koru. Thank you." He said, offering his master a small smile before turning and leaving the kel-dor's quarters, and heading back to his own to rest. Tomorrow would be interesting, of that he was certain.
